Hadrian saw that the knight will blow up but was not able to shield himself, the debris him him all around his left side and the sheer damage made him flinch.
(so there is a third knight? and we are going to engage with it before a long rest am I getting it right?)
Hadrian opened his eyes and looked around. He walked closely about and grabbed his javelins from the toy knights and the larger knights around him. After he collected the third, he went forward with his friends towards the last one.
He held the maul on his right, resting on his shoulder and readies a javelin on his left.
"hrmff, I am going all out if this is the last fight."
(Also rolled a nat 20 on my first Death save so that’s7 hp)
Jetsam stirred a bit just before the kick, but failed to block it. Eyes closed, he grumbled “Fine.” Then rolled up to his knees, shook his head and stood up, then retrieved his weapons. “A rest would be very welcome.” He said, picking bits of shrapnel out of his chainmail and legs.

If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
As the party reaches the bottom of the stairs the tower has a whole different feel to it. The crystal walls are replaced by damp stone walls. The light down here is much less compared to the tower above. (Only 30 feet vis unless you have dark vision)
The party is in a hall way 10 feet wide that extends into the darkness. We can see chained up bodies to the wall on either side of the hall way. The air is foul and stagnant, and we hear a slight scraping down the hall.
Tommy: "This is different this much be one of them dungeons yall talked about on the walk here."
The fairly short rest healed him completely and that he is completely alert. Hadrian is able to see up to 60 ft in the dark and notices the trouble his peers is having.
"Allow me to go first so we can get a bit of a warning of what is ahead. A torch will attract whatever is out there to us too prematurely. Keep me in your line of sight but do not get any closer so If I attract it, it does not get into melee range with you yet."
Hadrian moved forward up to 30 ft and will stop once the enemy is in his line of sight. He is taking a dodge action.
Hadrian sees the mummy as it hobbles down the corridor.
He slowly goes back to Tommy and whispers.
"Tommy, there is a mummy 75 ft away at the end of the straight corridor. I will light and toss my torch to it, hopefully to have it catch fire but if not, it will atleast illuminate it for a bit so you can attack first. I will throw my torch in its way every chance that I got to illuminate and hopefully have it catch fire. It is undead, and like the werewolf earlier, I have reason to believe our conventional weapons will not work. I worked as an officer in the army in waterdeep where we always suffer undead attacks in the last war. I will fight with a torch. What do you think? What about you Jetsam?"
(Hadrian's backstory is during the time of the waterdeep attack by the lich so he knows it firsthand. I had it in my charactersheet, if any are wondering)

Ok found an optional mini boss fightbfor us. It's a challenge rating 5 so would be a deadly fight with the chance of a wipe if we roll bad.

Sweet.
Jetsam took his pack off to use as a pillow, laid down and promptly fell asleep.

Ok friends let's do this thing.
The group moves to the stair case leading down.

You see a mummy 45 feet down the blocking the exit.
Hadrian sees the mummy as it hobbles down the corridor.

Jetsam thought for a second, then shook his head. . “I’ve never fought a mummy, so I wouldn’t know.”

Tommy digs in his pack.
"I've got these beans too, they set stuff on fire I could rund in and dump them out? I'd be caught in the blast though"
