(( Redoff is still up in the village on the platform, alongside Gordon and Aeron (and 90 pounds of simple bread rolls and plain gruel in fragile wooden bowls.) Options to get down are jumping down, or crossing the 30-foot bridge and then climbing 30 feet down the ladder.
Whistler is on the ground at the ladder. Darbakh is thirty feet from him, right beside the prone crazed dwarf, and right below the platform. Evan is fifteen feet beyond them.
And the transparent sphere of force sits silently nearby, occasionally shimmering in the light when viewed at the right angle. ))
*any opportunity attacks? I moved with the full knowledge that my character might die*
(( No, he couldn't tell where the flames came from, so he's totally focused on Darbakh at the moment. Were he in his right mind and not lying on his back in the dirt, he might have given your movement the attention though. ))
MOVE: to a nearby spot with a clear view to aim ACTION: Shoot a cross-bolt to the dwarf Attack: 26 Damage: 20 FREE: Take out the Heavy Crossbow (if not allowed, he will shoot with hand crossbow instead)
Attack: 10 Damage: 5
(( You can pull a weapon after dropping whatever you're holding (both are free,) but just to be clear, are you using Action Surge to make two attacks with the Heavy Crossbow? EDIT: Also, we have to apply the penalty from the prone condition; you have disadvantage on each roll. ))
Redoff switches off to his crossbow, and takes aim at the bloodied axe-wielder below. However, the shot goes wide, leaving the dwarf still glaring at Darbakh.
I don't believe the fire is out yet. (If it is, somebody tell me so I can change my turn) Thus, Gordon will continue smothering the blaze, and will also take some food and begin storing it in his bag of holding, because he does not want it to go to waste.

My posting scheduled is irregular: sometimes I can post twice a week, sometimes twice a day. I may also respond to quick questions, but ignore harder responses in favor of time.
My location is where my character for my home game is (we're doing the wild beyond the witchlight).
"The Doomvault... Probably full of unicorns and rainbows." -An imaginary quote
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gordon is still on the platform, so he will start to climb down, and throw an improvised weapon at the dwarf (nonlethally).
Attack: 13 Damage: 6

That's not good. It feels like this may result in some fall damage.

(( It'll take 30 feet of movement to go back across the bridge to the ladder. At that point, you can use your action to throw something at the dwarf, or to Dash 30 feet down the ladder: which will you do? ))
I made an attack already (and rolled terribly), so I'll stick to that.

"The Doomvault... Probably full of unicorns and rainbows." -An imaginary quote
Gordon's makeshift weapon, a broken piece of burned wooden railing, flew towards the dwarf, but spun oddly, caught the wind and veered off to the side.
The crazed dwarf ignored it, his gibberish increasing as he continued to glare at Darbakh.
A flash of light streaks toward the dwarf and connects! Another scream erupts as the blast sears a pit into his thigh, leaving a glittering light surrounding the target. He now looks MUCH worse for wear, and is breathing heavily, his head now twisting and turning as he looks around frantically in confusion.
Crawling a few feet before standing up, the crazed dwarf raises his axe into the air and gives a howl before he starts swinging, as if attacking imaginary foes around him. He then collapses to a knee and starts his unintelligible muttering again, before gripping his axe in both hands tightly and looking around suspiciously.
(( The dwarf is no longer prone, and appears to have readied an action. ))
