Casrian forgets the obstinate lockbox as Brix applies the healing salve and it relieves every ache of the wound. He blinks. "Master Brix… you are quick to come to the aid of another. May Avandra bless you, sir. I am in your debt."
((As the others speak, does Casrian have the opportunity to keep working on the lockbox? Dexterity check: 16, if you'll allow it))
He looks at Norr, at Leo, at Brix, and Dolmek. Avandra seems to have answered some unspoken prayer, and he sighs deeply.
"The Firewater will stand as our oath to one another for now, and the gods bear witness. These things ought to receive more ceremony, but I feel uneasy remaining here when assassin's have made good their escape."
Casrian turns to the Scribe.
"You spoke of a scroll kept in the Royal Library of New Basin. Do you have any information of how we might find that scroll? Who we may talk to? How we may avoid undue attention from librarian, guard, or fey?"
"Personally, all I know is that the few people who are allowed to use the library are nobles. Other than that, I'm not actually very knowledgeable about modern day New Basin. Although, for your fey question, I don't think that there are fey in New Basim." *chuckles*
Note: Before you go traveling, you should make sure to get a stable water supply. Every character here needs 1 gallon of water every day, and since waterskins hold only 1/2 gallons of water, you'd need to find a refilling location every day if you didn't bring more water.

Leo is the one who get's this is his mind, being the survivalist out of them, and says "Aye, before we leave, do we have a stable water supply?"
Casrian picks up the fallen spear of the masked warrior and offers into anyone interested. If no one takes it, he will keep it.
"Perhaps we visit a supply store and a stables? I have little enough gold as it is, but what's mine is yours. I will need another waterskin, a map, and I would prefer a ride to walking. Whatever is within our means that won't take too much time to acquire. Scribe, do you know where we may find these things? And do you - who have such a vested interest in our success - plan to sponsor us with coin? We could use the assistance."
"Ah, yes. If you go down to the end of this street, take a right, and go 4 stores, you'll find 'Garreth's Supply Shop'. In it there's really anything an adventurer would ever need, other than weapons. As for stables, there happens to be one on the same block as the inn, although it is at the far side."
"You are generous. Thank you. If there is anything else you may tell us about what we seek, tell us. Otherwise, I am ready to begin gathering our supplies immediately."
Brix listens as the various conversations swirl about him. When the mode of travel becomes the topic he speaks up saying, "I most definitely will require some sort of transportation. I fear I would not be able to match the speed of the rest of you for very long should we travel by foot. I'd hate to be a delay. Perhaps we can trade favors for sponsorship. We should definitely go and see." The Gnome gathers himself and readies for travel. He simply awaits the word to go.
The Scribe peers at Norr's ring curiously. "Norr, I believe is your name? Do you think I could possibly take a quick look at your ring?"
“Seal our bond and most certainly.”
(edit:) “I would be interested Master Scribe if you could tell me more of it. It was bequeathed to me in haste, before its former wearer’s subsequent … passing, and the mystery of it and its nature quite compels me.”

(I’ve got a barrel of water in my ring, which I’ve been treating as full, but it’s hard to fill on the inventory and bedrolls, so that should be ~ ‘40 gallons? I think?) — if it’s not allowed, then Norr will follow Casrian, once he gets his ring back he can store a great deal for the team. Think having a 1-2 day amount carried and the rest within the ring, and top up on the daily in and out.
(OOC could we get a quick recap before hitting the road? I recall Alexander the acolyte and now our benefactor of sorts the scribe here. We’re in Slileigh Le Ulta going to Cora city, to investigate a circle of stone cult or are we going to try and find a hidden scroll of secret information? I apologize I am reading through the posts but day to day recall isn’t what it used to be. Can we also post a recap in PMs for referrance too.). Thanks

(After Firewater, Norr hands over the ring.)
The Scribe chokes on the firewater, and after peering intently at the ring, he shakes his head. "I've never seen magic so well concealed! If I hadn't known it was a genie's ring, I'd think it was just an ordinary one!"

I believe that you guys are going to New Basin to search for a scroll in the Royal Library (also known as the Kejsare's Athenaeum) containing the location of the Circle, go to the circle, uncover what's happening, and then report back to the Scribe. Is this true?

Alright, if you spend 1 minute searching you can recover 1 arrow.

"And as for the coins, perhaps not, but I could pull in a favor with both of them and ask them to give you a specific amount free. "

((Casrian votes to go to New Basin and get the scroll. Otherwise we will be fumbling around Cora City, just hoping to find the Circle of Stones))

Oh, and you should know, I'm the kind of absolutely evil DM that makes sure that you subtract a ration every single day on the road. Crazy, right?
