"And as for the coins, perhaps not, but I could pull in a favor with both of them and ask them to give you a specific amount free. "
A cart?
Norr returns to where Dolmek is entreating the Scribe, and overhears. He is tucking away some rations in his backpack as he does.
“A cart would be fantastic, if he has the strength to pull us all. I don’t mind walking, but two days without respite is very tedious. Though, I suppose, if no one objects perhaps master Philbin might carry me for some hours, if he is to be on the cart due his stature. I’d have no objections, and I’d owe you a small favor if you agreed (calm down my friend, that was no pun).
”I have found that favors count for little here. Previously, a long career had made me wealthy in that currency, but here, in this land, I find the preference for yellow gold is overriding, and well…” Norr opens a coin purse that is completely empty, with the spend of his two gold he has absolutely nothing left, it seems.
My donkey Rowdy can pull the cart, master Philbin can drive, carrot on a stick seems to work. We could all use a break from walking for days at a time. Resplendent Norr if it ever comes down to it I’d be honored to carry you myself.
"Aye, how about I drive? I happen to be good with animals, (laughter of Scottish origin occurs)"

Norr pauses from where he is chopping at the limb of his short bow at Dolmek’s words. His eyes shine, as his smile reaches his eyes for once. He seems genuinely touched, and after the frantic battle of earlier, the compliment seems to have removed some of the wear from his face and shoulders. He bows his head at Dolmek. “Thank you, good master Silverstone. Thank you.”
(Dragonlouis — after the shopping, can we use this wait as a short rest, get a spell slot back?).
2.5gp Rations x5 (he will have 10 Rations due to 5 from thieves pack)
0.2gp Flask of oil x2 (for his hooded lantern)
2gp Traveler's clothes
TOTAL: 6gp, 4sp (DM, let me know if any of these items are unavailable)
Casrian considers for a moment before addressing the others.
"I have 18 gold and 6 silver that I am willing to contribute to the needs of this venture. We could outright buy a cart, though I would prefer leaning on the good grace of the Scribe's influence, if we can. I have everything I need, I believe. Please, if any of you are in want, my coin is yours."
(Brix is good on inventory. Just need the horse and cart. Can we rent one?)
same with Leo, though he would like to visit a blacksmith in the town, or anywhere that sold weapons.
There's a weapon shop, but in the Kingdom of Santok, to discourage people from resorting to violence, weapons are have a whole 50% tax. (taxes time) For the horse and cart question, renting one would cost half as much as buying one, if you rented it for 2 days.

...nevermind the weapons, lol. How much would the cart cost? (We already have a mule, so we won't worry about the horse)
...would it be possible to sell any of the weapons I have that I don't use at the blacksmith that was mentioned earlier? (Quarter staff and 2 short swords)
For the question of whether or not Norr would be able to bring all the low tables and cushions out, I'll rule yes, BUT Norr must be able to carry everything he brings out himself and the cushions and low tables will have to stay out until Norr decides to use his feature again, which can only be used once per long rest.

Sure, but at half price because you've used them in the past.

(Perfect, I’ll bring the blankets and whatever else I can carry out next time, and leave them out till after we reach the city, when I’ll take them back in while in urban city)

K, sounds good, he'll sell his Quarterstaff and his two shortswords for a total of 10gp and 1sp
Leo is now 10.1 gp richer than he was a moment ago!
Being absolutely destitute, when Norr finishes whittling his bow at lunch, he gives his dagger to Leo as he heads to sell his weapons, at half price it would be 1 gold piece. (If Leo’s happy to take it and sell it with his things too)

Leo dose so and gives Norr the one gold from that

Well, the rest of us can't actually enter the ring until 10th level, so it could be possible if Norr brings the stuff out here

DM, do we hear anything back from the scribe about the whole cart situation? If that isn't the case, then Leo'd like to buy it himself
