((Funny enough, roll20 sent me a notification for a new game they have and it says "never trust an elf" lol))
"Ahh! I'm so very sorry," the elf apologizes with a deep bow, "I hurt everyone, ruined the path ahead...I was too proud. Next time, just throw a rope on me and let me alone to die...and if we didn't before, we definitely gave ourselves away now!"
Taking out her longbow, the elf runs to the previous passage, waits by a blind corner and takes the ready action to shoot when she hears the little bell ring or hears footsteps from around the corner...

Prince Dueragn joined the others, only slightly nursing the bruise on his shoulder from the fallen debris, after a moment of waiting, weapon in hand he piped up, "Maybe we got lucky and the sound did not attract anyone, we should move on"
A hand from the darkness gently touches the shoulders of the two armored knights.
"Th-Thank you," the hands' owner sobs a little, "For still supporting me even though I've messed up..."
The hands retreat and Ghost works at taking apart the foot trap and gets it ready to set up on the next passage the party wants to go to.
"Maybe we did get lucky. Or maybe whatever is deeper down these caves are lying in wait...Which passage should we head to next?"
((Hey DM, from the main room does the Eastern or Northern passages look big enough to fit the "huge monstrosity" our druid friend rolled to track earlier?))

"Don't beat yourself up, Lady Ghost! Unfortunately, sometimes it happens with the bests too"- stands up the goblin, swiping down rock dust from his clothes - "Good thing nothing serious happened to any of us! Let's continue!"

"With the way west blocked, and in keeping with our original plan, I believe the way north is next yes?" Prince Dueragn kept his axe at the ready even as he spoke, he wasn't sure where danger was going to come from, but he didn't want to be caught off guard.
The hall to the North is only 10 feet long and ends in a ‘T’. You can see that the left/West end of the ‘T’, after 5 feet, turns 90° to the North and continues Northward. The right/East end of the ‘T’ you can tell opens up into another naturally formed room.
"Prince Dueragn, your tale is a pretty good one... because going west might lead us closer to the other side of whatever laid that trap for us," she says as she moves west and gestures for everyone to gather round.
"And besides, caves don't *naturally* form with 90° curves. Mr. Snikkit, would you check for us please?"
Taking a hand to the wall, she will take the Help to give the goblin advantage on checks if the wall was hewn by kobold sized tools or acid (nature check?).
((Praying for good health over you! In the meantime, can I give Prince Dueragn advantage to do a stone check on the walls? (Sorry I totally forgot dwarves can do that lol.)))
"These walls are recently hewn, though the cave is natural. It hasn't been long though since this stone was given form. I doubt a beast such that we seek would be one to pick up pick or shovel, or lay traps."

Great. No one got trapped under the rocks. It looks like the only way to go is back the way you came to the East side of the room.
Nothing happens…
Still nothing happens…

Yes, they both are big enough.

Again, you can go back to the first room and take the passage North or the one on the East side.
"The...the bests?"
Encouraged by the words of the one who took the most damage, Ghost proceeds ahead to check the next cave, whichever it may be.
Roll for when we decide which cave:

History Check on the Stone Walls: 24
You can tell that the cave is naturally formed, but some of it has been customised by a group of creatures in the recent past.
