The next moment, the shinobi jumps back out across the window, quickly pursued by a lithe elf wielding a glowing purple whip and a bulky elf in chain mail. As the shinobi attempts to run across the roof, the one in chain mail quickly closes the distances and attacks the shinobi with a huge greatsword, which glows white with divine fire. What do you do?

Then they'll use their second attack to unarmed strike the roof underneath them, causing the shingles to shatter a give way. They fall down into the room below, which does not provoke opportunity attacks as it is technically isn't voluntary movement. They them move through this room and into an adjacent one.

When a creature within 5 feet of you makes an attack against a target other than you (and that target doesn't have this feat), you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.
Trey will take a swipe at him as he attacks the roof, as his Reaction. (Not an Opportunity attack, so doesn't slow him)
