Yiin
The firbolg seems to not be too worried about the dangers of Anjara or anything about which path to take, and mantains a calm and relaxed posture during the journey. He, however, shows special interest any time Zydus is near the party, looking into any type of power that he has as well as any possible behaviour that concerns any religion or spiritual connection. Insight on Zydus: 23
Yiin also take a look into the documents that are available to them in search of any religion aspect. Religion: 17
"There are so many lost artifacts waiting to be discovered, this most of tools Maitland years tl compile, I could spend years studying it, there is a common theme amoung the artifacts is that we need the blessing of the people before we take one home or we die of a curse"
Yiin recognizes Zydus wears an amulet dedicated to Ioun, the Knowing Mistress. She is the goddess of knowledge, prophecy, and skill. She opposes Vecna, who deals in dark secrets and hidden knowledge. Ioun brings structure, order and discipline to research of history and the arcane. She aids in granting understanding of ancient historical relics to mortals, as well as keeping her own archive of records in her divine realm, The Endless Athenaeum. As one of the most knowledgeable deities she has been known to aid other deities work similarly recording anything learned. She was involved in improving the state of The Weave while it was under the watch of The Weaver of Spells. She is known to extend her knowledge to mortals deemed worthy by passing her abilities to finding the truth in all things.
Zyus clearly uses natural elements earth, fire, wind, and water are his assets but favors air through his heritage!
The next time Captain Nirah Nyhus or Gaia dine with the group, Leela asks them whether they have had any experiences with raiders, pirates and the like. "One of the reasons I am so far from home is that I am searching for a lost treasure of my temple. Have you come across any rumours of rogues who target temples specifically? Ones who might have the inclination or means to be picky in their choice of target, who might travel far in their search?"
Later in the conversation Leela mentions she has heard of sand monsters in the desert. "Have you heard tell of similar creatures in your travels elsewhere? Or seen one yourselves?"

"Thieves tend to steal whatever they want or are hired to steal. I'd hope I wasn't transporting such criminals but then again we haven't had anyone quite like that declare themselves," Nirah shrugs.
"There's rumors that the Clasp and Myriad have wasted no time making connections out here," Gaia offers before Nirah hushes her companion.
History check to know about these thieves guilds.
"We don't need trouble and neither do you if either of those godless cutthroats took your relic," Nirah adds quickly changing the subject to beasts. "Only seen the like of flying creatures myself but I bet the desert hosts plenty of horrors there too," the captain explains.

Present evening:
As the party speaks more on their past the sky ship lurches slightly as you it's running against head winds again. Captain Nyhus and the crew have made the troubling passage as comfortable as possible even if Melora did not seem to want the party to continue! That evening's meal was simple but well made. As the group leaves the dining hall they gather back on the deck on starboard side near the bow to enjoy the evening. The sky is a purplish-orange and the wind swepts across the deck changing the heat of the day to cooler temperatures like most evening's. It's been about twenty minutes when your cabin attendant finds you and offers refills or more dessert to round out your evening.
"Any thing else for you dears," a stout, blonde female dwarf asks who's been your regular attendant for the passage.
Moira Deepdelver, as she's introduced herself, is a hill dwarf with tanned skin, traditional braids that encircle her head, and nice robes matching the same navy that all of the below deck attendants wear. They always look immaculate apart from the crew who wear slightly weathered grey and green uniform tunics and knee high boots with soft soles to allow them to climb in the ship's rigging.

Flintwick
As the group sits out side, Flinkwick's owl happy flys around, finally getting to stretch her wings properly. While Flinkwick himself stairs into the distant as the ship passes.
"Nothing for me"
He appears lost in thought, as this is one of the few times he has not rambled on about something.
"I'm full, thank you very much! Although Moira, may I ask how you ended up here on this sky ship? All dwarves I was lucky to meet were hideously terrified by height and the mere concept of flying" - he chuckles a bit.

[retrospectively: Leela does her best to smooth any ruffled feathers and assure the captain and first mate that she wouldn't dream of thinking that they might have had anything to do with rogues of that nature, only that since they talked to many travellers, they might have heard rumours... persuasion19
Leela smiles gently at Moira. "I thank you, but I need nothing more." She turns back, closes her eyes and raises her head slightly to the night sky as if basking in the moon's rays.
OOC: Y'all don't know nothing bout these thieves guilds! Val no worries, this site it dodgy too lol! Keep from lore dumping I'll allow Val is have access to whatever she'd like to know about the guilds on the game thread or through PM. Consider the feathers smoothed but Nirah seems to give Leela a wide berth on-board after the conversation!
Leela recalls, in detail, some of the lower ranking members, some of the smuggling routes, and symbols of both Exandrian thieves guilds. She can access this knowledge whenever she would like. Leela knows for a fact the Myriad is responsible but not if it was directly or indirectly motivated. Did the Myriad simply fill an outsiders orders or if they had intentions for her temple's relic themselves remains a mystery to her. She was pursuing the thieves but lost them in the skyport in Emon and realized there was only two ships leaving the skyport at the time but both were headed to Anjara. She happened to bump into Maitland and Zydus returning to the ticketing office. Maitland inquired about the cleric's frantic state. The rest is history. Leela joined the party and met the rest of you on board the Stargazer than Maitland hired that day for the journey. The Gazer left the skyport the next day bound for Me'at Halwa.
The evening sunset, like most on the Gazer above the vast ocean which the sky ship has traversed for nearly a month. Just sigh of the fourth full week of travel passengers and crew seem restless. The party too seems to have varying emotions from confidence they'll discover what they joined Maitland for in the Kingdom of Anjara to a faint anxiety that Maitland has been missing nearly all week. As the second to last bell rings closing the day shift from that of the secondary crew to take over for the night something odd happens. As the party lingers on deck with a few other passengers and the changing crew the Gazer suddenly dips violently sending a groaning lurch of wood being crushed on the starboard side of the bow section of the ship!
OOC: Everyone roll an athletics or acrobatics check to see if you've kept your footing!
On deck whatever made the horrible sound and visible damage to the ship however remains unseen!
OOC: The blue light emanates from the bow and aft of the ship is the arcane-infused crystals that power the ship keeping it aloft! The Stargazer is 130ft long with 100ft of deck and 30ft wide. I would say the party is collected around the portside of the bow with their drinks having finished their dinner below decks. Other passengers, there are 15 in total including the party as well as Maitland and Zydus, so 9 not in your group. There are 5 total below-deck attendants on a three-on-day shift and two on the night shift. There is a 10-person crew to sail including the captain and first mate with five on days and five on nights; with the captain and first mate spitting/rotating command night vs. day shifts. So, 30 souls total aboard. There is the party, 3 other passengers, 2 attendants, but only 3 crew settling in for the night shift. The other 2 are either not on deck yet or unseen by the party going about their business. Nyhus is the evening commander at the wheel.
The entire party manages to keep their footing and as Leela casts her spell (what's it look like? Does it hace a smell or sound?) she sees a creature foreign to her! A beautiful woman's torso attached to a winged, black dire lioness body! She's prowling onto the next. Her short strides still taken up much of the bow's portside!!
Nature or history check Leela since your PC is the only one that can see the humanoid creature!
OOC: I will roll initiative for everyone if that's how this goes!
