"I'll take it friend Stone, if you truly do not want it." Penelope holds out one of her clawed hands toward him.
"I would alos like to look around these rooms before we continue farther in case there are any other hidden surprises. A few enemies came from this room I'd like to how." Penelope says as she begins looking around the room, rubbing her hands along the walls and searching for some kind of hidden passage or hiding spot.
Stone hands Penelope his healing potion and then comes to the realization that he was wrong about the sending stone, blushes a tiny bit in embarrassment and says, "Never mind about the sending stone. Seems like it acts more like a communication device." He shrugs while avoiding the gazes of his companions.
Jacob laughs lightly, but with no malice, and says to Stone, "Take it anyway, we can pass them around as needed but it defeats the purpose for me to hold on to both of them." Then turns to Penelope, "Anything good in there?"

Jacob Bray - The Call of Lon-Dia, Human Bloodhunter 3
Penelope: You look through the secret door and see what appears to be a storage room. Unlike the other rooms you have seen, no frescoes line the walls here. Scattered around the room are several wood-and-iron chests of all sizes.

"Oh, I do love it when I find treasure in treasure chests."
(Natasha picks out the biggest chest, takes out her Thieves Tools and checks for any traps she needs to disarm and any locks.)

Edit: Wait, I forget, do I only get +4 for double my proficiency bonus or do I get that plus my normal Dex modifier, +3? If so, please add a +3 to my roll.
(OOC: You would get the +3 Dex bonus when picking the lock, but this first is to search for traps which is a perception roll.)
Natasha: You're about to pick the lock with your thieves tools, when you notice the lock is trapped. If you had opened the chest without disarming it first, you would have gotten a face full of something bad.

Natasha: You realize what that hissing means with barely a moment to spare. You close your eyes and hold your breath just as you're hit with a jet of poison gas. You take (Half of 4) poison damage. After the gas dissipates, you let out the breath you were holding and slowly open your eyes. You are left with a locked chest that is no longer trapped.
Stone watches as Natasha gets hit with the gas but does nothing to prevent it or help her. "Miss Natasha, please be careful. The smoke may have obstructed your vision. Then again it may not have obstructed. Perhaps you closed your eyes, so there was no vision to obstruct. I'll defer to you on the issue of whether there was any obstruction."
"So, which one of you want to take this healing potion off my hands?"

"We should split up this pair of sending stones to be safe as well. I'll take one, but I'm happy to pass it off at any time - who wants the other?"
Jacob Bray - The Call of Lon-Dia, Human Bloodhunter 3
"I should probably have the other. That way, if I understand how these work, I could use it to heal you from a distance with some magic."
