Stone: You clank your way over to Natasha, attempting but failing to do so quietly. You see her staring out at the crate on the leaning dock. Make a perception check.
Penelope will wait and watch the others while keeping an eye on the building for anything suspicious, not really confident about walking on the rotting docks.
Natasha: The leaning deck looks like it might be strong enough to support your weight, and that crate is slowly sliding away from you towards the river. What do you want to do?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Penelope will move to step off the dock, avoiding any dangerous spots and and head over to the house being as quiet as she can, she'll press her ear up against the door(if there is one if not she'll hunker down two spots directly to the left of the door) and listen for anything beyond.
So 1 square back, 3 squares down, then 10 squares to the right, and then 1 square down.
Basically she's moving around the barrel, past Jacob and directly to the door if there is one.
Penelope: You quietly sneak up to where Jacob is and look down the alley at the rats that are confusing him so much. You can make a nature check to see what the big deal is or you can continue on to the building. What do you want to do?
Natasha: You loop the crate and carefully attempt to pull it back to where you’re standing. The crate is a little heavier than you expected, make a strength check.

"Hmph. Keep your trash.. mammals..." Jacob turns and heads for the door of the building quietly, pulling out a torch as he does but not yet lighting it.
(He'd keep an ear to Penelope if she chimes in with any insights, but otherwise head for the door)
Natasha & Stone: Together you two easily drag the crate over and off the leaning dock. After searching the crate, you find it contains rusted iron equipment and weapons. At the bottom of the crate wrapped in a dirty cloth you find two small gold bars.
Penelope: You find it a little unsettling that these rats are aggressive enough that they did not immediately flee at the sight of the party.
Jacob: You very quietly and carefully head to the rundown warehouse. When you reach it you notice that there is no door, just an opening where there used to be one. Coming from the opening you see the light of what looks like a campfire and you smell the aroma of cooked animal. You hear a voice mumbling what sounds like half of a conversation.
Penelope will continue to the the edge of the building and stop there, keeping the rats in sight. She hides one hand behind her back and will ready a Fire Bolt in case the rats do anything threatening toward the group.
Penelope: Once you leave the alleyway, the rats get down off their hind legs and go back to digging through their garbage piles like you never were there.
(Natasha grabs the gold bars and puts them in her bag. She then walks over to the entrance of the building and checks the door to make sure it's not booby trapped.)

Jacob motions to the others to be as quiet as possible for a moment and tries to listen to the voices and glean anything about the creatures speaking and what they are speaking about while staying out of sight just outside of the opening:

(Natasha grabs a rope from her pack, makes a loop and hooks it around the crate, slowly pulling it back to the area she knows is steady.)
OOC: Would I have to roll for that? Here's a generic roll if I do, you can add the modifier cause I'm not sure which would apply.
