"Aye we should check everything we can up on deck before we below, it's nice to know the way behind us is clear incase we run into trouble in there. Possibly think about best way to set up an ambush if we draw something up through those doors."
Looking at the crows nest. "I think I'll start at the top"
Seeker heads aft toward the rear of the ship on the upper deck where the splintered remains of a mast jut up like a broken spear. The ship's wheel is askew, dislodged from its mechanism.
Thulewyn climbs into the Crow's Nest using a rope ladder, which is still secure. The mast sways alarmingly as he climbs, but he makes it to the top, a full 50 feet up, without incident. He sees that the basket-shaped area is stuffed with wood shavings, dry grass, and shredded canvas as if from the sails.
Orissa makes her way up the side of the ship, getting to the top deck with everyone else. When she get's up and the idea of ambushing comes up, she grins and draws her daggers, looking towards Thulewyn. "Ambush? If something pops up, I'll just poke it hard enough with these until it pops back down."
Seeker looks around for any sign of survivors or anything of value. He also looks for ways down, which might be ways up for anything below and he carefully checks his footing as goes, having no idea how sound this, or any other part of the ship, remains.
Orissa was about to follow the others to the cabin when she notices Thulewyn is not around. She looks around before her eyes eventually lead her to the crows nest where she sees something going on. Without knowing who's up there, she shouts up. "Hey Thulewyn, that you!? We're moving!"
Orissa was about to follow the others to the cabin when she notices Thulewyn digging through a pile. She approaches him and taps him on the shoulder with the flat part of her blade. "Hey man, we're moving..."

Between the slight swaying of mast that the crows nest sits upon and the added noise of winds and shuffling of debris, what Thulewyn thought he heard was the warning "Thulewyn, the ship is moving!"
He make a mad grab for the sides of crows nest and holds on for dear life. Thulewyn's mind now planted with the seed of imediate danger, exaggerates the felling of the slight swaying motions. He chances a glimpse or the side to better judge what's about to happen.
When he sees the rest of the crew walking with weapons at the ready to enter the cabin, he breathes a sigh of relief. Trying to cover the fright in his actions he tries to angerly shout back, "What in the mountain peak are you trying to do! Aye the dead at bottom of sea probably know we are here now! I'll be down when I'm good and ready! Try not to join their ranks before I get there, aye!?" The failed anger tone mostly gone by end of his reply. After a quick sec, he pokes his head back over the side of the crows nest rail, "And leave a few for me would ya lass?" He can't help but grin at that.
(Thulewyn will make his way back down the rope after the conclusion of his search and will cast Produce Flame upon reaching the deck of the ship)

Since Tihli just came up from below deck, he asks "Moving? Moving where?"
Tihli senses magic emanating from belowdecks, and it is from the school of Necromancy.

Abaddon searches around the wreckage cautiously, looking for signs of trouble. "I have sensed the foul presence of undead near us. Be on your guard."

Only if they are not behind total cover. So if they were a deck below. You wouldn't know they were there.

"More?" says Morseth, worry in his voice. "This must be where the others on the beach came from. But why would they not be able to rest?"
He tries the door to the aft cabin, and will enter if it opens easily. If it doesn't he will give it a shove with his shoulder to break through.

"Well looks like someone was getting ready to set this nest up in flames up here, where in the mountain did they get grass from to put up here."
Thulewyn will shuffle through the pile to see if there anything of interest buried in it. He hasn't noticed the others preparing to enter the cabin.
After the rituals 10 minutes are up, Tihli follows everyone above deck.
"Guys! Abaddon is probably right about there being undead! I was able to detect necrotic magic below us on this ship!"
