Pyroctopus reports that it is a tunnel in the ceiling that follows the corridor, ending before the corridor turns to the right. There is another trap door at the other end.
Jacks does not see any traps in the little tunnel. It is small though; all of you who wish to will have to go through on hands and knees and you realise Andre might not fit at all. (Andre, what is your height and weight?)
"Well let's split the party then, you all go up through there, and Andre and I will go the other way and we both be careful" Morty says not wanting to leave a friend alone
"Perhaps you two remain on this side, and when we reach the other end you could cast a rope across, or affix it to a projectile of some sort, to offer a lifeline if the floor should give way..."suggests Fuego.
(OOC Could Pyroctopus carry a rope across? would it catch fire? If needed Fuego could wildshape into a spider and crawl across the underside of the ceiling with the rope...)
“What do you think that pressure plate does? Do you think it floods these rooms, then it eventually drains away through the drains? I think we should stay here until one person who is small enough goes into that tunnel up there and open the trap door on the other end, sees where it comes out. As long as we steer clear of the pressure plate, we should be fine, right?” Marnoa steps up and peers into the trap door as well, but he looks ready to enter the room and keep exploring..

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
(OOC- Ok, so should I wildshape into a spider and carry a rope along the hallway? how are we getting our friendly neighborhood Dragonborn to the other end?)
(Okay: Who is using the tunnel and who is using the corridor? If you are using the tunnel, please make an Athletics check (DC 10) to get up in there; If you are walking down the corridor, please make a Dexterity check (DC 10) to safely walk past the pressure plate)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Okay, I think DM already said that Andre can't fit through the tunnel... so I guess down the corridor it is... but feel free to correct me if he can fit through the tunnel, because he would definitely prefer to make an Athletics check over a Dex check)

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Fuego will call Pyroctopus back and have it ascent through the trapdoor and report back what it finds.

Fuego relays the information. "Hmm, I wonder if the entire length of this corridor is trapped, and this alternate route is to avoid it..."
"There's only one way to find out." Jacks says. He reaches up and climbs into the trapdoor, and looks to see if there's any traps inside the tunnel.

(Yeah, he’s not going to fit in the little tunnel as is)

giant wolf spider
"Agreed, let's just try and avoid that plate and continue on."
(Yeah, that size spider could do that)
What is the plan?

Andre is onboard with the 'just say NO' to stomping on the pressure plate plan and continuing on our way.
