Darkwing soars through the gate again as fast as he can (now adjacent to Rumble and the Spirit of Stone). He swings with his weapon to no avail, but his kick leaves a minor crack on the stone. (Spirit of Stone: 24 damage)
Rumble stumbles back a few steps from the shove with an "oof!", but otherwise isn't harmed. Just as he begun to open his mouth and raise his hand again in a placating gesture, he winces at the blast for forces. He still tries to say something plaintive in primordial.
But quickly realizing the "jig" is up, he starts to go for the club, but seeing Dark now in range of the spirit, he let's go of the wolf. In a rage fueled burst of flurry, he goes to grab the bird, yank him in front of him(facing the group), and start charging down the hallway . "All of ya! Stay behind the gate! And CLAYTON! MARA! So help me--!!"He yells along the way, emphasizing his last point with a heated glare at both of the spellcasters.
Rumble starts seeing red as his plans have gone up in smoke. He grabs onto Dark and begins to flee as quickly as he can. (half movement, so gets 15 feet away)
The Spirit of Stone, seeminging in an act of anger, strikes out at Rumble as he grabs the aarakocra and flees.
Spirit of Stone's Slam vs. Rumble:15Damage:15 bludgeoning, and the target must succeed on a DC 15 Strength Saving Throw or be pushed 10 feet.
(Rumble may elect to fail the Strength saving throw for the additional push)
Scenario: The spirit of stone is around 50 feet away from the gate, Rumble has a hold on Darkwing (35 feet away from the gate). The rest are either beside the gate or retreated through the gateway into the cavern.
(Since Dark is currently being grappled by Rumble, it's more that Rumble's in control of where they go, unless he chooses to no longer retain the grab.)
Killian, up at the ceiling of the cave will attack again, casting his 2nd spell slot for another round of Magic Missile,

Rumble grits his teeth as he is launched by the force of the blow, carrying Dark along with him. Fortunately, he lands on his feet, though its roughness causes him to let go of Dark prematurely after the fact. As both of them now continue to dash away, for one brief few moments, the fury dims in his expression. Though the earth genasi glanced back with every intention of a parting word, seeing more arcane misses crash into rekindles rage.
"CLAYTON! STOP! I AIN'T WARNING YA AGAIN!"He yells, having since whipped his head back around to glare at the man again

"Listen Tumble, I'm just trying to help ya out, that thing took a swing at ya and pushed you pretty far." Killian shouted back at Rumble, Killian will use his next turn to kick off the wall and "fly" along the ceiling above the group due to the levitate spell (10 min duration) assuming Rumble and Dark made it back with the group and Leo has closed the gate.

"Sorry but I am not going to sit here and let this thing us." Mara calls outs as she prepares herself to blast at the creature once again, hoping that her next blast will do as much damage as the first. The same as before she mutters and makes hand gestures as quickly as she can. The crackling bolt appears once more as she aims at the creature.
Rumble manages to rush to the gate with Dark and bolt around the corner. With everyone now on the other side from the Spirit of Stone, the mage hand levitating by the handle swings the gates shut.
Mara's eldritch blast seems to bounce off of the spirit's form, completely ineffective.
The spirit of stone seems to advance towards the gate, but is no longer throwing parts of its rocky form at the group. (The spirit of Stone is 15 feet away from the gate)
Rumble scowls at both Killian and Mara, and starts to open his mouth to yell at them again. But, after a false start he says instead in a terse matter for everyone to keep going a ways, and that the warden won't go any further than the gate. He doesn't look back a second time, though does slow to a hurried jog until the gate at least until a natural bend in the tunnel puts him out of sight from the gate, or after traveling a good sixty or so feet away from it.
Either way, and only unless he isn't attacked or surprised again does he bother finding the nearest wall to lean on to catch his breath. Drained as he appeared, Rumble still possessed enough wherewithal to keep his distance from Mara, Killian, and Dark during the recovery.
