The party moves into the dining hall while Alben doesn't detect any magic here there is a strong illusion vibe from the forest to the north. Next you follow Shadow into the kitchen, there is no magic here. Into the tunnel you go passing the forest room twice more as Shadow turns west after the forest room, again you pick up on a major illusion sorce. You emerge into the room where Shadow and Alben were held captive, there is no magic here. Into the mask room. You pick up an Illusion emanating from one of the masks.
As you enter the long hallway, you see another patch of illusion to the south (the illusionary wall). Entering the E door you detect no magic in this room. Shadow moves over to the secret door and leads the party into the hidden armory. Laladak moves over to retrieve the small half plate armor. Alben's attention is drawn to the lid of the looted chest. As a thin long section on the lid lights up with Enchanting and Evocation. You can make a investigation check DC 19 with advantage (Shadow or anyone else can also try with advantage if you fall and let him know that you think there is a hidden compartment in the lid) or take the chest with you and figure it out during your rest.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hey guys... There is something there, in the lid of the chest." Alben points to it, "it is something of enchantment and destruction" Alben investigates:10
"I can't seem to find the trick to it, but something is hidden here, looks like a hidden compartment."
Shadow studies the lid for a minute and finds a button disguised as part of the ornamentation. He presses it to reveal a felt lined compartment with a wand inside.
Shadow takes the wand (you can discuss later who gets it) and you all continue to Keygan's office revealing nothing new magically speaking.
I just looked at what time you entered last and it was about 11pm so that makes it a little bit after 4:30am. Most of the shops won't open until 7 or 8. The Inn will be open (bread & cheese and the inn's stew or soup) and St. Cuthbeth's is open 24 (Jenya may not be available though). Where do you want to go?
There is a list of the shops in the note section of the campaign page.
We need to find a store to sell these gems to and someplace to identify the wand and magical gem to see if we keep or sell them first. We need funds to buy more potions with. And the armor needs to be resized. Let’s go get food at the inn and use some sort rest time to try and identify these items while we wait for stores to open. Even the church will be pretty quiet this time of night.

Orues has the party gold which is between 80 and 90gp
with those money we cannot buy even two potions, I agree to go selling gems, in the meanwhile we can rest for a long rest, wake up at 12ish and go to the shops

You can only take a long rest every 24 hours according to the Players Handbook, it's been less than 6 since your last long rest.
You do get a discount for the potions at St. Cuthberts (40gp)
Unless we know how much it will cost to resize the armor, we should go to Maavu first and see about getting money for the magical items or identifying them at least. Then we can go to smithy and get armor fixed. That will probs oh take a while so after that we will head to the church for potion with money left over, party gold has enough for 2 potions and I have those gems worth about 200g but first getting that armor paid for is probably more important. After the church I think we should see if we can find any information about Jezrezeene and it’s sister city the elfs mentioned and how they might connect. Is there a library in town?

Teechu sent me the map with your exit marked. I wil hopefully get to what you in an hour or so.

Do you stop to investigate or keep moving?
Alben will take note of it, telling the party members of it and moving on for now.

(I say we get healing and potions at the church, then head to the inn for a meal & short rest before heading back)

If we are heading back to the inn for now, Alben will take his short rest while studying the magic jem to see what it is and how it works.

Let’s take teechu plan by the letter, I agree
Agreed, with the addition of buying me more arrows while we're getting the armor resized.
Sounds good to me.
You got to the inn and wait inthe almost deserted common room for a few hours waiting for thing to open.
Alben studies the clear gem and he believes that it is a Ioun Stone of Sustenance.
Is anyone going to study the wand?
The best place to get the armor resized is Gurnezarn's Smithy. The best place to sell any magical items is Skie's Treasury
(Which kind?)
