(they were having some issues, it popped up as "rolls not allowed for this session" or something like that, i edited the post to add a test section and made another roll, it started working, first roll, on the post was 24, test roll was 11. I edited it again to remove the roll test area, the 11 stayed, 24 went away, and it popped up saying the rolls may have been edited. I edited again to add the note about the rolls.)
"Well, i think that sounds reasonable, in that case we will take the 2000g and the wand of cure light wounds. We have a few more stops to make, and then get back to work. Thank you for explaining the discount, and have a wonderful day."

The Unlucky Bastards of Justice leaves Skie's Treasury and take Magma Way to Gurnezarn's Smithy. As you walk into the smithy, you see the master admonishing a couple of apprentices, while a journeyman is pumping some bellows. To the north there is a small office with a sign above the door stating "Phalian Gurnezarn, the only non-Lathenmire smith in Cauldron. Armor and weapons fit for a king or dragonslayer." To the left of the door is a gilded bronze and gold cage about 15 feet long and 7 feet wide, tall enough for a giant to stand up in. Inside the cage are four medium sized iron humanoid mannequins, each wearing a piece of armor. To the right of the door is a matching bronze and gold set of shelves encased in a clear glass-like substance. There are about a dozen different shelves some long, some short at various heights. Each shelf is covered in either black or green velvet. Currently about half of the selves displays a handsome weapon. If someone wants to wander over and look at the items this is what they see.
Masterwork Chain Shirt 250gp A Silver Plated Greatclub 127gp 5sp
Masterwork Ring Mail Armor 225gp A Slivered Halberd 150gp
Masterwork Splint 437gp 5dp A Masterwork Light Hammer 377gp 5sp
(Masterwork weapons = You have a +1 bonus to damage rolls made with the weapon, and you can reroll the first "1" you roll for damage. Masterwork armor varies from armor class, and will change steath check penalties.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Laladak walks up to the master and his apprentices lugging the armor with him and the master for a quote to resize the armor. Phalian laughingly dismisses the apprentices saying "Off with you two, I have to deal with a lordling" so saying he turns to Laladak and a tad on the frosting side "Let's go to the office and I willtake a look".
The office is a smallish room, cluttered with papers, and equipment. A work bench sets along one wall, and a desk with three ornate metal chairs with cushions on one side, and a single matching chair on the other side. He points to the work bench and indicates that Laladak should put it down. When Laladak does so, Phalian examines the armor, saying "A nice bit of craftsmanship, gnomish work I believe. What do you want to do with it?" Laladak explains that he would like to get it resized to fit him and would like to know what it would cost. He looks it over some more and finally says "It will take 3 days and will cost 312gp and 5sp"
(I hope you didn't mind that I talked for you, but I don't see the need to go into a real RP exchange here.)
Tyris asks an apprentice where he might find some arrows, the apprentice points to a door, moving into the room Tyris sees that it is a small warehouse full of weapons and armor there is a sales counter, behind which sits a slightly plumb woman, who turns out to be the smiths wife. She asks Tyris what he wants. He replies that he would like 5 bundles of arrows. She goes and gets them. Returning she says "That will be 6gp, 2sp and 5cp please."
ooc: pratically I want to know if there is a better shield or better armor for less than 350gp, e.g. splint mail whose AC is better than chain mail
(You can buy must armors and weapons in PH from the warehouse shop at 125% of the price in the PH. If you want a custom made armor <masterwork or special materials> he can make it but it will take some time.)

As Alben concludes the transaction she says "May you have a safe and profitable adventure. Come back and finish that story, you here."
You get 1,625gp and a Wand of Cure Wounds.

Oreus watches , very interested, at all the things : some may be of his interest
Mh, since we got hit many times, maybe a better armor would be nice...in the meanwhile let Ladalak asks for his armor adjustment...
Then he whispers to the others:
we forgot to answer to the magic shop if they needed these books of wondrous items, should this shop need these? would do you think?
ooc: at the moment we have this party equipment:
PARTY LOOT: 1705gp 80 CP , 32 SP, books for wonderous items, wand of cure wounds
I think maybe we can get an item each for around 300/350 gp each.
Btw : who wants the wand of cure?
Tyris looks around for arrows.
Laladak asks for a quote on the armor adjustment

Oreus sees an interesting splint armor , thus he says:
"Sir, I would like to trade my chain mail for that splint armor over there, would the banter plus 200 gp suit you?"
Persuasion if needed 18
Are you talking about the Masterwork Splint that is on display? Or a regular Splint.
At first Oreus tries to get a deal for the masterwork one
ooc: what does masterwork armor mean in terms of play?
For heavy armor such as the splint there is no disadvantage for stealth.
