"Oh my goodness," says Fredrick. "The dice are on my side at the moment."
He leans forward conspiratorially. "You know if you give me an intro to that handsome man at your table, I'll give you a straight shot at winning. No advantage to me."
"Well then," says Fredrick, scooping the money into his pouch. "Perhaps now is a time to quit. Luck sometimes has runs, and bad luck seems to be sticking to you tonight. I will not take advantage of one of the fey. That would be bad luck for me! Now, if you please.." He stands up and comes with Esa to the party's table.
"Oh, you are protective of him? I assure you I can offer him a night of pleasure, if it suits him. But if not, I am happy just to talk and we - all of us - can enjoy each other's company. I have travelled widely, you might find me a font of knowledge!" He smiles again, displaying his crooked teeth.
"Very well. I don't know how receptive he will be, but you are welcome to indulge yourself." Esa leads him to the table and introduces him to Vakiel. "Vakiel, this slightly richer than a minute ago gentleman asked for an introduction."
"Greetings, I am Fredrick Quicksilver, bard of no small worth, gatherer of information, and dispenser of pleasure for anyone, and," he says looking at Augustin and Vakiel, "I mean anyone." Then he laughs. "A bit over the top, yeah? Ah well. I seem to have a few iron bits in my purse now, so perhaps I can buy us a round?"
RL will decline. He's been watching the behaviour of the people in the inn and is pretty sure the drink is to blame. Saying that he is quiet enjoying watching the banter and good cheer going on at the other tables.

Esa perches on Augustin's shoulder and tells the man, "Sure, you can buy us a round with my lost coin."
Frederick gestures with his fingers indicating a number drinks required to Reeta who is serving tables and she nods.
Fredrick turns to you all.
"You're an interesting group. I'd have said you were entertainers but the people here speak highly of you and tell me you're delvers. You did a lot during the battle, including taking out the Iron Circle general. That's impressive. Are you perhaps, for hire?"
Fredrick sighs. "I truly wasn't. It was an impulsive moment when I asked. But before we talk of jobs, let me hear about your experience in delving! I know of your battle prowess. How about exploring ruins and investigating mysteries? I don't want to be sending you on a task, no matter how rewarding, if I'm putting you in unreasonable danger because of your inexperience."
RL is sitting to the side, kind of on the edge of his seat. Watching these interactions like a tennis match, left, right, left, right. He knows enough to not just blurt out what's the party has seen.

Esa narrows her eyes and glances over her shoulder. Spotting Vakiel deep in conversation, she smirks. "You have a deal." And Esa rolls a 5

Before they arrive, Esa flies up to meet his eyes. "Tell me, why are you so eager to meet my friend?"

"We'll hear you out" As Grimbald barely lifts his head as he devours some bread, cheese and gravy.
Esa rolls her eyes. "If you were seeking us for the purpose of work, you could have just asked. It's not as though we're opposed to coin."
Fredrick sighs. "I truly wasn't. It was an impulsive moment when I asked. But before we talk of jobs, let me hear about your experience in delving! I know of your battle prowess. Grimbald raises an eyebrow and glances up from his food, delaying swallowing his mouthful. INSIGHT check if he is deceiving 20

Whilst Grimbald looks up, Vakiel will pinch a piece of his bread. Not trying to hide the action, just waiting for the moment his fingers would be safe
Grimbald thinks that Fredrick deliberately chose his words to get a response, perhaps to influence them to jump at his offer.
