RL will continue around the corner westward and see if there is anything to loot from this area
RL looks around and initially finds nothing that Grimbald had not already discovered. Some crates, rotten and fragile to the touch, their contents degraded to dust and mold spores. Then as he searches a corner of paper catches his eye. He pulls at it and out from the dust RL uncovers a scroll. One look at the writing tells him it is an arcane scroll, not much use to him. The magic of the scroll kept it from deteriorating, luckily.
RL will give a little fist pump to himself and bound back to the group waving the scroll over his head. He will approach Esa and hold it out to her and ask 'I hope this will be useful'.
So just to be clear, Augustin is walking north into darkness, light provided by Esa'sLight cantrip. The paladin is tapping the wall with his staff (lance?) with RL 15ft behind doing the same with the spiritual owl, looking rather ruffled, on his shoulder. Augustin is, of course, also keeping an eye out northwards.
If that's the case Esa will be right behind RL and Shepherd will bring up the rear, assuming Grimbald and Vakiel also follow Esa and RL.
I meant Rod, but we will stick with the lance. If (and when) he does see something. He will drop his shield and will charge at it if he can reach it with his lance.
The light opens up to the creature the owl familiar saw, floating down the northern passage, as if it and gravity are not on speaking terms. A weird mix of mouths, teeth and eyes. It seems agitated already, different to how it was behaving when the owl familiar saw it. Maybe something was riling it up? All of its stalk eyes turn together and look at the party.
As RL lines up the area to be affected by Faerie Fire he sees the creature's biggest eye looking at him, which is mesmerizing and horrible at the same time. RL's brain seems to have random brain neurons fire all at once and a feeling of sickening dread and just... alien wrongness.. floods him, making him want to look away.
Before he can cast his spell, RL needs to pass a DC14 Wisdom Save or be stunned until the start of his next turn.
Behind the strange floating creature, and on the roof like a spider, is a dark humanoid figure with red eyes. It is dressed in rags, has pale skin, long hair hanging down showing pointed ears. Its right hand is smoking, as if on fire, but the smoke is wispy and black. It has been affected by RL's faerie fire spell. It hisses, knowing it has been seen.

Esa holds the scroll open, unfurling it like a map, her arms wide. She lands on Shepherd, showing the tiefling the scroll.
"Invisibility!" the faerie announces, her tone slightly disappointed. "I already have it in my spellbook, but I suppose you did your best."
Esa sniffs, and hands the scroll to Shepherd, who thanks her and rolls it up.
Augustin is walking along his face practically to the wall looking for more oozes.
“does anyone have eyes on what esa heard?” He says, tapping thr wall with his staff
No one does, no one else heard it.
RL will follow Augustin about 15 ft back and copying Augustin's actions since that seems to be the way to spot the strange Oozes

Let me know if that's NOT the case.

RL will follow as far as the corner where he will crouch and peak around and see what can be seen

Initiative please!
Grimbald Initiative 19
Creature initiative 4
Well... I guess the party can go first..
RL will cast Faerie Fire on the creature DC 15 Dex save from it
RL will then duck back around the corner out of sight
As RL lines up the area to be affected by Faerie Fire he sees the creature's biggest eye looking at him, which is mesmerizing and horrible at the same time. RL's brain seems to have random brain neurons fire all at once and a feeling of sickening dread and just... alien wrongness.. floods him, making him want to look away.
Before he can cast his spell, RL needs to pass a DC14 Wisdom Save or be stunned until the start of his next turn.
Wis save 27
RL gathers himself, mutters a prayer to the Celestial Lion for strength, and forces himself to cast the spell.
Creature's dex save 16.
(as discussed on chat)
Augustin grips his lance and charges forward. He turns the unwieldy weapon into a deadly implement, driving the point towards the floating creature.
Lance Attack: 23 Damage: 10.
Lance Attack: 17 Damage: 12.
Esa casts a fire bolt at the creature.
Attack: 17 Damage: 13 fire damage.
Also a secret roll - 16.
