Long shot but.... I want to try and reach through the window, grab the spellcaster and yank it outside - or at least hit its head against the wall.
What do you want me to roll to try that DM?
Do it as an unarmed strike and do an extra d4 damage for bashing his head into the window frame and you are grappling him too. But he will have a cover bonus.
The spell takes effect and you hear bones snapping and two hobgoblins die immediately, the others suffer injuries, including the two bearded devils. The otherworldly creatures ignore the pain and push through.
Rustling Leaves uses the glowing spear he has conjured to stab strait down on the wounded hobgoblin scout and impales him through the chest. He looks surprised and then his eyes turn glassy and he stops moving.
Augustin smashes right and left and two more hobgoblins go down with crushed skulls.
Grimbald shoots the Hobgoblin commander in the shoulder and then scurries up the tree.
Vakiel moves to the window and grabs the surprised hobgoblin spellcaster and pulls him forward, his forehead smashing on the top of the window frame, then while dazed Vakiel drags him bodily through the window and his is now prone on the ground at Vakiel's feet.

Round 2 - Enemy turn:
The Hobgoblin Commander looks like he wants to chew up Grimbald and spit him out, and decides that he is not going to be able to get the strange dwarf. He moves out of the writhing vines and flowers and also moves to engage Augustin. He encourages his troops to strike at joints and neck (special ability Leadership which gives non-hostiles a d4 on attack rolls and saving throws). He speaks in common so the bearded devils can understand him, and tells them to save his spellcaster by turning the "white hair" to meat slivers. This takes an action so he does nothing else.
Realising they have been tricked by an illusion, the two remaining wounded hobgoblins close on Augustin bringing up their shields and weapons and attack together using their martial advantage ability. They listen to their commander which gives them an extra d4 on their attack roll.
Hobgoblin 5: Attack: 16 Damage: 10. Add 4 to the Attack roll.
Hobgoblin 6: Attack: 18 Damage: 13. Add 3 to the Attack roll.
The two bearded devils change course after the hobgoblin commander's orders and run at Vakiel, leaping and bringing their glaives down upon him, and then thrust the writhing tentacle beard at him, which tries to poison the barbarian.
Infernal wound - if any of the glaives hit Vakiel then he must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or lose 1d10 hit points at the start of each of his turns due to an infernal wound. Each time the devil hits the wounded target with this attack, the damage dealt by the wound increases by 1d10. Any creature can take an action to stanch the wound with a successful DC 12 Medicine check. The wound also closes if the target receives magical healing.
Poison- if any of the beard attacks hits, then Vakiel must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute. While poisoned in this way, Vakiel can't regain hit points. Vakiel can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of his turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
The hobgoblin spellcaster prone on the ground takes the opportunity to stand up and takes the disengage action to move away from Vakiel while he's busy defending against the bearded devils.
