(( Alright, initiatives are set! Currently, Drex and Gordon are together, both about 50 feet from the door to the keep. The twig blights are each about 30 feet away; one directly to the left, one directly to the right, and two between the Drex and Gordon and the keep door.
Faith and Locke are both about 20 feet behind Drex and Gordon; this means they're both 50 feet from the two front blights and, for simplicity's sake, we'll say 60 40 feet from the left blight, and the right blight.
Anyone interested in using the structures: I can give approximate distances to either of the sheds, the cistern, or the horse shelter if desired, just ask and I'll place them. The door to the wall around the keep is 30 feet directly behind Faith and Locke. ))
The Aasimar aims as he casts his spell, and the fiery beam strikes true, hitting one of the two blights in front of his companions. At first, it appears the blast just forced the blight to a standstill, but then it emits an ridiculously high-pitched, ear-splitting screech as it erupts into flame; a flame that consumes it from its extremities to its core. The screech fades as the last bits of wood collapse into a pile of ash.
The merchant closed the gap as quickly as he could, racing toward the leftmost twig blight. As he did, he launched into a flying side kick, and then after landing in a crouch, rose into an uppercut to finish off the creature.
MOVE: Forty feet to the leftmost twig blight ACTION: Unarmed attack on the twig blight * Flying Side Kick - Attack: 10, Mundane Bludgeoning Damage: 8 (plus 5 extra on crit) BONUS: Using Martial Arts to make another unarmed attack * Uppercut - Attack: 17, Mundane Bludgeoning Damage: 5 (plus 7 extra on crit)
The monk launches his attack, but having seen his approach, his enemy simply ducks under the side kick. Unfortunately, this sets it up to receive the full brunt of Locke's uppercut, which smashes through the tangle of dried vines that composes its head. The twig blight twitches for a few seconds, before finally falling backwards and lying still in the grass.
Currently, Drex and Gordon are together, both about 50 feet from the door to the keep. The twig blights are each about 30 feet away; one directly to the left, one directly to the right, and two between the Drex and Gordon and the keep door.
Drex casts his spell to send a flaming bolt towards the third twig blight. The flames seem to attach to the creature, then quickly consume it, causing another high-pitched screech as it turns to ash within seconds.
(( Enemies are up! ))
As the twig blight gives its version of a roar at being burned, a low sound enters the background, unnoticed by almost everyone. However, within seconds the moan becomes obvious to all as a mummified human, wrapped in bandages and glittering trinkets, bursts out from the keep, and begins shambling from the door straight toward Drex and Gordon. Its pace doesn't allow it to travel far, but as it moves it turns it head towards the two front adventures with a piercing glare.
MUMMY MOVE: Twenty feet towards the front two adventurers MUMMY ACTION: Uses Dreadful Glare on 2 (1 = Drex, 2 = Gordon) * Dreadful Glare - Target must make a DC 11 WIS Save, or become frightened of the mummy until the end of its next turn. Failure by 5 or more means target is paralyzed for the same duration.
Meanwhile, the one remaining twig blight closes in on its prey with unusual speed, and takes a swing at 2 (1 = Drex, 2 = Gordon).
BLIGHT MOVE: Close into melee with the target BLIGHT ACTION: Attack the same target * Blight Claw - Attack: 13, Mundane Piercing Damage: 3 (or 6 instead if crit)

"The Doomvault... Probably full of unicorns and rainbows." -An imaginary quote
Gordon swings at the blight, and his gauntlet-sheathed fist connects right with the creature's face, shattering all the way through the dried wood and dropping it instantly.
The fighter then invokes his giant growth, activating his runes as he flings his sword towards the mummy. It sinks square into the creature's chest (although he notices that the blade didn't seem to do as much damage as expected,) and the subsequent burst of fire immediately sets it aflame (doing more damage than expected.) Arcane shackles of fire erupt from the flames, attempting to bind the undead, but it manages to break them, ending the restricting magic.
Faith turns the ring on his finger, seeing how the desiccated mummy and its wrapping singed with the last incendiary attack, calling on the genie magic to create a bonfire at the feet of the monster.
More flames erupt right beneath the mummy's feet, as the spell manifests. The already-singed bandages quickly catch fire, evoking another low moan from the creature. The heat seems to be unusually damaging to the undead, as its left arm goes up completely in flames and falls off.
Locke raced toward the undead, determined to quickly finish it off. Closing in, he quickly spun into a backhand strike, then took an aggressive stance from which he threw a roundhouse kick right to the mummy's head.
MOVE: Close into melee with the mummy ACTION: Unarmed attack * Backhand Strike - Attack: 18, Mundane Bludgeoning Damage: 9 (plus 7 extra on crit) BONUS: Unarmed attack * Roundhouse Kick - Attack: 13, Mundane Bludgeoning Damage: 6 (plus 8 extra on crit)
The merchant threw his strikes, but apparently didn't account for the mummy's fiery flailing; he missed twice, causing a nearly-unnoticed expletive to slip out under his breath.
