Hello my name is Kourtney and I am first time playing this game and I want to learn how to play may I play with y'all.
We are about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way in. Feel free to jump in. If your character wants to have already been lost in the Labyrinth, then go ahead and introduce yourself.
As you are huddled around the corpse of the adventurer, you hear heavy footsteps coming toward you from one of the passages. From the dark emerges a Dragonborn Fighter…
So with that, you have the sense that even though it feels as if you’ve been in this Labyrinth for about an hour somehow time has passed a little quicker than you would have expected. You know that night has actually fallen. And if this were a movie you would see an establishing shot of the forest outside, the clouds reveal the full moon rising over the hills. You would hear the rattling of chains, the beastial and pained roars of a mysterious creature…
These sounds echo through the caves and through the labyrinth to all of you. And a chill runs through all of your spines as you now know there is something new lurking in these dark hallways…
Progo sees the newcomer and points the crossbow at them, "Friend or foe? More importantly, do you know how to get around this dreaded place, for Progo knows not?"
Progo will take the corpse's short sword if no one else has and put it in his bag of holding.
"Progo wonders if this 4 way intersection would make a good place to set up ambush for scary monster? Any suggestions. Maybe we stand in center and split if we see it down one of the hallways and then can flank it from either side?"
“I say we just push forward. That intersection is 30’ behind us, where the door was. Although we could set up an ambush, that would involve us waiting for a monster to come to us. I’d much rather be moving. The sooner we’re out of these blasted hallways, the better.”
Thalron marks the wall to indicate direction and a reminder that a corpse is here. Just in case they stumble upon this marking again and the body has been removed.
(With the doom and gloom of the book matching Progo new demeanor, I didn't want to assume that he would)
"So dead man and Progo have the same feelings about our changes of finding our way out of here."
"Maybe we assume Deadman parh isn't correct path as it was the one they were on."

Hello
“Hallo!” A red headed dwarf Barbarian greets the newcomer. “I hope you’re friend, ‘cause we don’t need another foe.”

”I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.” - Douglas Adams
”I’ve suffered a great many catastrophes in my life. Most of them never happened.” - Mark Twain
" A valid conclusion.", Savitri nods then starts slightly as the dragonborn appears out of the gloom.
" Slightly larger than the other dragon-folk we've seen here."

I believe that’s a Nat 20?

(That's why we waited!)

Anyone else want to do something while we wait for our Dragonborn?
How much farther does this hallway extend beyond the corpse?

Savitri shrugged, " Most of my fighting has been shipboard....I'll bow to your knowledge here."
"Agreed, push forward.

You push forward. And turn the corner. At the end of the hallway, 60 feet away stands a suit of armour.
