Raevyn eyes the room with calculated suspicion. She hypothesizes some scenarios and considers her options. Too curious, the doctor decides to attempt conducting an experiment. Although tall, she'd still have to move forward a bit more in order to get a clearer view of her patient. She fixes her robe, clears her throat and then adjusts her posture to better project her voice. "Flee." She commands, the faint outline of an imagined outcome of the ghoul throwing himself into the pit reflected in her eyes.

The doctor holds her arm out to pause Pauwau from charging in alongside Nefire and Dabbert. Instead the wolf would snarl at the ready, prepared to lash out at anything that may 'charge' the entrance.
(Ready an attack in the 'doorway')
(Movement thoughts: She moves up between Krumar and Syl, maybe a bit ahead to get within range, and Pauwau can take up position beside her/in front of Krumar?)
Krumar casts Heroism on Dabbert imbuing Dabbert with much needed bravery, or so Krumar feels.Dabbert is currently immune to being frightened and effectively gains 3 temporary HP at the start of each turn until the spell ends…
Dabbert, trying to peak around the corners and being quite perceptive, sees more threats! On either side of the entry is a Zombie about 5 feet back from the entrance. He also spies an Orc that seems to be digging into the wall to the northwest… (See updated map below).
Moving to attack the closest Zombie, now ZC, Dabbert fumbles his attack but still manages to hit the slow moving undead cretin!(If you still wished to move up to ZA instead just let me know.)
(You said “Someone uh...check that green glowy mess but don't get too close.” You referring to the general illumination of the room or something specific?I’m not sure what you mean…)
Nefire, adopting the sandwich technique floated by Dabbert, is almost pleased to find a closer target than the one she initially assumed they would be after. Not having to switch to the javelin, the mighty halfling is able to take a savage swing with her great axe instead… The 9 damage done cleaves a huge chunk out of the creature but it isn’t falling quite yet.(Rerolled your damage for the axe instead, but I rolled bad.Sorry.But 1 additional damage done at least…)
Sylconsiders rushing the embattled Zombie but decides discretion is the better… Well, it’s just better!Still, his crossbow allows him to attack even from a distance and his bolt slips between the wall and Dabbert and strikes true into the chest where the unbeating heart of this creature lies… Unfortunately it does not need it’s heart.Still, the bolt rocks the rotten thing and it’s obviously close to the release of true death.
Raevyn, while others are pulling weapons out and rushing in to attack (Or not rushing in, if you’re Syl), the dark little plague doctor pulls out a tiny little bell… Muttering a little chant while she softly rings the bell, Raevyn points to the damaged and wavering Zombie causing it to clutch it’s head in an attempt to cover it’s ears but it is too late…. It’s bell has been rung and Zombie C collapses in a puddle of dead and decaying pieces and bits.
Not to be undone, Jaylan steps up and targets the Zombie (D) on the other side of the passage and sends off a devastating Eldritch Blast that immediately knocks the creature back a step and has it looking close to collapse…
( ZC is dead, Pink Ring will be used to indicate such, ZD across the way is at half power at best.)
Undoubtedly the entire room is now aware of your presence… And with some of you having moved in you also have a lot better view of what is going on. Or at least of what is around. On the western side of the room you see an Orc (Rug, but you don’t know that yet.) digging away at a wall and a Ghoul nearby it. Around the pit in the middle of the room you see the original two zombies and a ghoul that you saw on your approach. In the Northwest corner you see a Zombie just within sight, it’s unclear if there is more beyond it that you can’t see yet, to the Northeast another Orc (Wrug) and ghoul, and is that a zombie a bit closer to you all? And is that something there in the eastern shadows?? (See map for precise locales…)
Krumar squeels and steps behind the dog and Raevyn....takes a moment and appreciates Rae's play on words "That was clever" and feverishly writes them down
"Wow this look a lot more like a party now!" says Jaylan noticing the rest of the creatures. He rushes his attack though and fires at the nearest zombie, but this time he is not as effective as before. He stands his ground, trying to provide some cover to his friends near him.
( Eldrithc Blast attack 13 damage 3 )
will cast shield if necessary as a reaction to block any attack )
"Heh... Alright. I could get used to this thing," Syl mumbles to himself after seeing his bolt strike the zombie.
He reloads, takes aim again... and misses. Attack: 7(rolled in game log... believe that, even for Zombies, that is not good enough)
He looks at the crossbow in his hands as if it has insulted his mother. "... Piece of junk...".
Still wielding the crossbow, he walks into the room, looking to get within 30 feet of one of the zombies for next round.

"Well uh...there goes that." He mutters sinking his shortsword into the undead creature just inside the entrance. The attack was sloppy but still somehow managed to land. With Nefire following up, and then the Doc, the undead has no chance; they obliterate it at first contact.
Scanning the room and its number of occupants, Dabbert weighs his options. He is confident in the capability of the shortsword...but this is a lot of targets, and he prefers the reach of his halberd. He drops the shortsword back into its sheath and hopes that the theory about the silvered weapon is just that, and decides to take a swipe at the next foe with the longer weapon.
He moves into the space between ZA and ZD, keeping closer to ZA so he can reach out and attack it with the ten foot reach of his halberd. He watches, waiting to see what the attack does, while keeping the weapon ready. He steps back, centering himself as best he can between ZA and ZD, and readying a reaction to lash out at either should they move within ten feet of him...

Raevyn was trying to make a cheeky attempt at causing a ruckus in effort to draw the undead's attention this way, with the goal that they'd meander in closer. She was still quite keen on trying something, and of course wanted to see how many subjects she could test her theory on. Her fingers pet through Pauwau's fur at her side.

(Casting: Toll the Dead on a damaged foe)
(Because you love STs so much: Wis DC13 Damage: 25)

(Bite w/ adv (Pack Tactics): 20 Damage: 9 )
(Once more: If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 11 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.)
