Looking for 2 more players to join the 3 I have; there is a chance for PC deaths during the guild trial.
Homebrew meaning my original story content and that I will change up the monsters somewhat but basic game rules apply per my interpretation.
This will be an active campaign meaning as the DM I will post/response multiple times a day US EST through the day and have the expectation you will too.
This is a murder-hobo free zone.
18+ age restriction; sorry kids this is an adult zone too.
There will be PvP combat as part of the first trial. Your PC may die but after the trial, ALL PvP will STOP!! In the Order, there IS honor among thieves.
If interested please PM me the following:

I love playing rogues, and I love homebrew! Most definitely will be sending you PM application.
Not quite up to date on what "murder-hobo" means, but I promise to not be one here even if I turn out to have been one elsewhere (I hope I haven't though- I maybe get a little full of myself chitterchattering in application posts and general forum convo sometimes but I do try to behave as well in another DMs game as I would want players to do in mine.)

Murder-hobo is a character who attacks everything and everyone they encounter, instead of using strategy of social skills to solve problems.
That.

I still open, i have a Changeling Artificer, and I will love to in.
Here is the backstory:
13 15 16 12 17 15
Backstory Ally Whitehair/Lynn d´Lyrandar Alev d'Lyrandar, a half-elf wizard, leaves his role as agent controlling the weather and master of the winds and sea, and leaves Khorvaire in search of improving his knowledge of him and helping his House to face the challenges that arise. due to the beginning of the War and the fierce competition from Casa Orien in the area of transport. Direct heir of Captain Alistair d'Lyrandar – who would later be recognized for his conquests ahead of the galleon Golden Dragon –, Alev starts improving his knowledge of him at one of Sharn's universities where he meets Draya Zirgan, a Druid-Warlock Kalashtar. They become great friends and after a few years in Sharn, Draya invites him to Sarlona, her homeland and cradle of psionic knowledge, where Alev can seek greater understanding in this area. In Riedra, Sarlona's largest city, Alev meets Zay Whitehair, a changeling with gray eyes and hair, a renowned artificer of many skills. Zay works for the Inspired, totalitarian dictators whose purpose is to unify the culture and religion of the people of Sarlona, and they select the best specialists to be at their service. Alev and Zay fall in love, get married and Ally Whitehair is born. At the age of five, Ally's games already demonstrate a great ability with inventions and time control, so, afraid that the child will also be exploited by the Inspired in the future, Alev decides to flee Sarlona and return to Khorvaire. With the help of some allies, Draya, Alev, Zay, and Ally escape to Khorvaire, to the Lyrandar refuge of Stormhome. Although there is some discrimination against changelings, the heads of House Lyrandar are interested in Zay's skills, which can help them with ongoing projects, and accept Alev's family as members of the House, on the condition that Zay and Ally assume half-elf personas, and conceal their true identity. Ally Whitestar takes on the persona of the young half-elf Lynn. Zay is invited to the construction team of the first Airships, soon gains notoriety among the Artificers of House Lyrandar, and teaches her entire craft to young Lynn, who is dedicated to studying and knowing both the art of craftsmen and the intricacies and secrets of your new home. As she advances from her adolescence, Lynn gains the mark of the storm, Lyrandar's dragonmark, to the delight of her father, who always wanted the young man to follow in his footsteps as a master of the winds and time, and starts to carry the family name, Lynn d'Lyrandar. Lynn's brand, her charisma and intelligence mean that she deserves the attention and affection of important members of the house, who recognize in her a true Khoravar, and facilitates her integration into that life. But, some of the members of the House admire not only her abilities in the creation of her inventions but also in the art of disguise and propose to use these abilities to spy on her competitors, which Lynn gladly agrees to do. The raids, being able to transform again and the knowledge of unethical passages in the history of the Houses of Khorvaire, stir up the Changeling's free spirit and make him start to question that whole hierarchical system.

Oh I see! thanks for filling me in to the point i can now definitely say i've never murder-hoboed, if for no other reason than that i consider it a rather foolish thing to do if say, oh, you turn out to not be the strongest god in the universe, or if you turn out to later on need one of the beings you've killed for something they can't do dead

Apologies seems to be a large disconnect. When i say "Eberron inspired" means fantasy tone with pulp and dark adventure elements, and some non-traditional fantasy technologies such as trains, skyships, and mechanical beings which are all powered by magic in my homebrewed land of Talamh. There's no lore like markings, no Houses/factions and it's not on Khorvaire. Again my bad for not clarify.
Point of order: you're joining a thieves guild; write a backstory accordingly.
The world of Talamh is recovering from the shadow of a 100 year long war that ended in a magical disaster known as the Desolation, which damaged the Planes. This openned random portals to the Planes and destroyed serveal cities over the entire continent of Talamh. Tensions still remain high and evil forces move in the shadows to further their own schemes to fill the power vacuum. Although most of those tears are closed some areas still suffer from beings and monsters that came through. The world is in need of heroes, even if those heroes may be flawed.
Just so you know, pretty bad manners to recruit players from another DMs game thread. You could just direct message people to see about their interest. I would greatly appreciate you deleting your business off my game recruitment thread.

1 spot remaining. Please submit healers or tanks. If you haven't been messaged by ne or already selected it's because your backstory or class isn't a fit for the campaign. We've got plenty of support casters and rogue-ish types to start!
Name: Tashia (AKA Tashia "Skullbreaker," Tashia "Armripper", "Tashia the Terrible")
Species: Half-Orc
Class: Barbarian/Berserker
Background: Criminal
Concept: Pit-Fighter
Backstory:
Tashia has only the vaguest recollections of the man who sold her to Davin Tull. He might have been her father, or maybe not. Nor does she remember why Tull decided to buy the emaciated Half-Orc with dirty, unkempt hair and clothes. He certainly couldn't have anticipated how willful she would be, how she'd rather endure his savage beatings than clean the stables or work in the tavern.
She might have been ten when he took her to her first pit fight, armed her with a stick, and set a feral dog on her. He thought that if she put up a good enough fight he might be able to recoup his money.
He never expected her to win.
After that, things changed. Tull stopped expecting her to do chores around the inn and she started getting enough food. After a few more fights he even got her some training. Once she reached her teens she switched from fighting animals to fighting other people, mostly in bare knuckle brawls.
That's when the guild took an interest.
Tashia isn't privy to the terms, but they made Tull an offer he couldn't refuse. She's been fighting for the guild for a few years now, mostly in blood sports, and she fully expected things to continue like that until she died in the ring. She doesn't know why they've suddenly offered her a chance at guild membership, or if earning it will equate to freedom, but what's another fight more or less?
ALL multi-classing Rogue types!
