Perception: 16 <<< trying to 'detect' if those security patrols are lumbering our way.
...
Tarysaa pricks her pointed elf ears, but hears no other suspicious noises - apart from the obsessive repetition of the message "Intruders have been detected! Everyone leave the area for your own safety. The security patrols will arrive shortly to exterminate the intruders".
Then Daisy and Tarysaa start walking up the stairs, intending to go back to the throne room.
Barakor follows Daisy and Ilwythe follows Tarysaa.
(OOC: it remains only to clarify what Ardana does and, for Nim, to roll for Perception...)
Nim’s courage is steeled by his tall companions courage and unwavering resolve and follows him onwards.
As he gets to the bottom of the second, longer, dead end, Nimblestep immediately notices an object on the ground: a small, watertight leather belt pouch that has many compartments.
Although with considerable delay, Clas ends up noticing it too.
Clas extends his hand, reaching down to pick up the pouch. He straightens, the pouch in his hand. His fingers deftly explore its intricate design, his expression a mix of wonder and intrigue. "Well, well, what did you spot here, Nim?" he muses, his voice tinged with excitement.
He turns toward Nimblestep with a grin. "It's like a puzzle of pockets and compartments. Wonder what's inside, eh?" Clas doesn't look though, noticing only what he can feel with his fingers. He ties the leather belt pouch to his own belt. "Let's explore the other hallways and let the others know the layout when we see them again."

Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
Clas can feel with his fingers that there must be a multitude of small objects inside, divided among the various compartments.
Will you continue the exploration towards the door you saw in the corridor with the last Flamig Sphere? Or to the corridors branching off from the south alcove of the mosaic room (corridors 1 and 2)?
Meanwhile, in the background, the bas-reliefs keep repeating: "Intruders have been detected! Everyone leave the area for your own safety. The security patrols will arrive shortly to exterminate the intruders"...
(OOC: My humblest apologies. It is difficult to tell if the hallways end. From what you've said I presume all the hallways to the east been explored, leaving only the door and the hallways to the south left to explore and none of the hallways extend further than what is shown? If that is the case then...)
Clas heads back to the stairwell to report what has been mapped out, found, and what hallways are left to explore to the south. He then heads south. Hahahaha! Come on folks! Let's find out what else there is! Hahahaha! (OOC: 1 and then 2)

(OOC: Exactly! All the hallways to the east been explored, leaving only the door and the hallways to the south left to explore and none of the hallways extend further than what is shown. Anywat, by the time of your return, almost all party member will have retired to the throne room! Just waiting to know if Ardana also follows them or whatever else she does. I need to know this, to properly narrate what you find as you return to the mosaics room)
Shortly before Clas arrives, Ardana, the only one left in the room, witnesses the umpteenth reappearance of Elky, who, as usual, asks: "Hello esteemed visitors. I'm Elky and I'm here to serve you Would you like something to drink or eat, by any chance?I could have you brought some tea, water, wine, eggs and bacon, a few bites of game, horse meat... Or would you prefer to decline the offer?"
While Ardana is busy talking to the young halfling butler (or ignoring him), Clas and Nim arrive, galvanized by having completed the exploration of the corridors of the east! They urge Ardana to follow them in exploring the southern corridors as well, but Ardana warns them that the others have preferred to retreat upstairs...
Pretty nonplussed over seeing the annoying little illusion of a halfling again, Nim steps into the room with Clas and jangles around the newly found compartmented pouch hanging on Clas’ best and says aloud.
”Oi Elky! What the Devil is this? Also I’ll take some bacon please.”
Elky observes the object for a moment: "Probably there are those who are better qualified than me to answer this question, I'm just a humble servant... but there's no problem for bacon! Please follow me!" and she sets off, climbing the spiral stairs...
With an infectious laughter that echoes through the air, Clas's solid presence exudes sheer enjoyment. "Eggs and some tea! Hahahaha! This is a whole new kind of adventure," he calls out to Elky, the enthusiasm in his voice palpable.
Turning his attention to Ardana and Nim, "Hey, folks, help me out here. The yellow painting, is that on the East wall? And that painting of the woman, I recall it being on the South wall. Does it strike anyone else as curious that the yellow flags came from the East?" His words are a blend of genuine curiosity and a playful contemplation.
A mischievous chuckle punctuates his next words, "Speaking of south, let's get ready for a repeat performance of the fiery sphere. Ardana, Nim, you up for a little chase? Here's the plan: if we spot that fiery spectacle, we hightail it back through the last empty room and slam the second door shut once its inside. One of us can race up the stairwell and, once it's inside, close the first door quietly from behind. Or hey, we can even run so fast that we beat it at its own game by circling around and then close the first door and second door while it's still in the room. Any takers? Hahahaha!"
His laughter lingers as Clas heads towards the uncharted territories of the southern hallways. His voice rings with a mixture of excitement and camaraderie as he throws the question out to the group, "Who's up for some more exploring? Are you coming?" The zest for adventure radiates from Clas as he readies himself for whatever lies ahead.

“That chasing sounds just like a game I used to play with my older sister Bella when I was little! I’d love to reenact it with a flaming ball should it give chase! But yes let’s explore what lies south now and really map out this place.”
Ardana will stay downstairs in support of Clas and Nim, not staying with them but staying within earshot at least, trying to form a bridge between the 2 explorers and the 3 upstairs, who can have their own interaction with Elky. Although earshot probably not too far away with the alarms going off, so Ardana will not stay static, moving between the stairway room and where she can keep eyes on Clas/Nim, then moving back.
Well; then, while the adventurers in the throne room hear Elky's voice calling the 'house servants' to bring food and drink, the pair of explorers on the lower level delve into the treacherous meanders... knowing they can count on the careful surveillance of Ardana.
The search is short-lived, because almost immediately Nime and Clas discover yet another dead end... at the end of which a malevolent Flaming Sphere was waiting! And, now that she's spotted them, she scrambles to start rolling towards them.
As per the plan, Ardana takes up positions in the room with the spiral staircase, while Nim and Clas are chased towards the remaining free room, the one from which the self-moving armor that had come to the guardian's rescue must have arrived.
However, while Ardana has already taken a position on the spiral staircase so as not to be noticed by the sphere, Nim and Clas, as they rush to pass through the east alcove, notice with horror a nightmare vision: a monster has appeared from one of the intersections to the east. The creature is in an advanced state of decomposition (probably therefore an undead) and apparently has no body, no arms, no legs... but only two hands, which crawl as fast as they can, and a gnashing head that floats above said hands. And you can already see other similar horrors about to emerge from the same direction from which this one just appeared!
The gnashing undead (Gu) spots Nim and Clas in turn and seems intent on heading towards them...
(OOC: As someone may have already guessed, it's time to roll for Initiative - at least for Clas, Nim and Ardana. The others are not involved in the fight yet... nor are they aware that a fight is going on, unless someone finds a way to warn them)

So, the two explorers wants to keep exploring... What will Ardana do? Back up with the others? Or stay down with the explorers?
Do the yellow flags work on the mist to the south? Are the alarms still going off even with Elky there?
Yes, the yellow flags works on the southern corridors as well - so no mist while one is flagged.
And yes, alarm still going off - but Elky has been asked for food, so he went upstairs... he is not there anymore.
