(OOC: Hahahaha! Clas care? Not a care in the world! 6 hit points, no second wind, no action surge. Caught between an unbeatable flaming sphere and a horde of legless zombies. This is where legends die! Hahahaha! I mean born, this is where legends are born! Hahahaha!)

Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
(OOC: Lol... I'm already imagining Daisy and Tarysaa's face when they see Clas running into the Throne Room, chased by undead and fiery balls... Anyway, just waiting for Nim's initiative, then we shall see how this develops)
Upon seeing the hideous monstrosity emerging from the halls, Nim’s jovial and exited face drops and is immediately drained of colour. His pupils dilate and a film of sweat appears upon his brow. He looks up to his brave (far braver than he) companion after hearing Ardana’s call ring out and he says to Clas.
”Run.”
Nim will take the dash action and make a scrambled escape towards the stairs to get as far away as possible.
Nim seems particularly shaken by the horrendous appearance of the newcomers and decides to enthusiastically embrace the strategy proposed by Ardana: the paladin sees him darting alongside and running up the stairs.
Clas adapts to the strategy decided by his companions and promptly follows Nim up the spiral stairs.
Ardana is about to ascend in turn, pursued by the enemies... the valiant paladin hears the crackling of the flames of the approaching Flaming Sphere and sees approaching another of the horrible undead composed only of head and hands... this one has the head deformed, aberrant, with a disturbing light in his eyes (Au).
(OOC: Well, considering that Ardana was the one who proposed the retreat up the stairs, I assume that she too will go up, as Nim and Classe did upon her invitation and Ardana has changed her mind and prefers to do something else. rectify me by posting)
Ardana follows her fellow adventurers, whom she waited to be sure of covering their backs, as her sense of duty prompted her to do.
The group, which fortunately managed to react in time and not be caught, is faster than the pursuers, so they manage to reach the top of the stairs, at Level 1, with a certain advantage over the pursuers.
Ardana, having remained in the rear, has also had the opportunity to realize that the Flaming Sphere, either by choice or by incapacity, is not climbing the stairs - the pursuers are 'only' four of the horrible undead of which she has thus become aware lately.
Since, regardless of the Initiative score, the pursuers cannot reach you, because you are all just running up as fast as possible, I would say that Round 2 passes without any particular complications... Let's move on to Round 3, with Nim and Clas who just arrived at the top of the spiral staircase and are up!
The pursuers will probably arrive the next round, so this round is available for preparatory actions (such as alerting other party members in the throne room to what is happening, or choosing the position from which to fight the pursuers, or running away and trying to make permanently lose track of the undead...)
Ardana will back up the staircase flag still in one hand hammer in the other holding attack if the undead comes in range. As far as movement will take her.
Clas coordinates his moves with Ardana, stashing the yellow flag and drawing Ale. With Barrel ready he stays by Ardana’s side in his protection fighting style. Hahahaha! Not sure how long I will last! We best be quick about this! Hahahaha!

Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
When clas stashes the flag does it disappear? If not then ardana also stashes here and draws her greatsword. Is there a railing around the stairs or does it just descend and leave and open shot from the lip at the ascending undead?
When Clas stashed the flag, it doesn't disappear, it just goes out (it no longer emits its non-burning flame). So, if you stash your also, you'll be in darkness... No problem for a tiefling like you, but maybe kind of an annoyance for a human like Clas.
The spiral staircase doesn't have a railing but it does go around a central pillar, so no, as you go up there isn't line of sight to target the undead pursuing you.
Anyway, while waiting for Nim to declare his action, what do you do once you reach the top of the stairs? Do you stop to face the undead there as they come up? Or do you keep running towards the throne room? Or...?
Did we ever open the other secret door due east of the staircase room? From the square one west of nim can we fire missile weapons straight down on undead one west of that square? If so ardana will cast one of her javelins like that. If no to both of these questions I think we retreat to the throne room.
Either way when ardana gets to the top she calls out to the rest that there are more coming. Even if she retreats back to the throne room she tries to keep the undead in sight, staying ahead of them as best she can but not letting them close (so conditional move is that is possible).
Whilst running up the stairs with Clas Nim huffs and puffs his way through a rough rendition of his unfinished ballad about Clas and his barrel of ale sterling his courage.
(OOC: This is Nim bestowing Clas with bardic Inspiration.)
As he reaches the top of the stairs, likely in sync with Ardana he shouts at the top of his lungs that hideous monsters are on their way!
He then stands 10 feet away from the top of the stairway and readies himself to plunge his rapier into any hideous being to breach the stairs.
Tarysaa hears the high pitched yell of Nimblestep. Nodding to Iwythe and Daisy, she moves forward and grabs a torch from her pack.
Moving forward to the long east/west room that connects to the spiral staircase, she moves to the end of the east side... giving herself a long, clear view of the entrance to the staircase entrance.
Setting the torch down carefully, Tarysaa prepares her shortbow and nocks an arrow in anticipation.
(( OOC: please chop this up if that is too many actions for the given time ))
Well, since Nim warned the throne people, you can all roll initiative as well and decide what to do during the round it takes for the undead to arrive.
Gratz for the good roll! Just take care to make good use of it, when it's your turn to decide your action...

"Clas, Nimm, lets regroup upstairs, this is getting out of hand."

Clas relents and dashes up the stairs with everyone else. Hahahaha! Teamwork makes the scream work! Hahahaha!
