(OOC: Going to go ahead and put this up there for when my turn comes around.)
"Wait!" Daisy cries, lowering her cocked arm for another throw of a rock. "If we need to get something from this thing, we can't kill it!. Maybe we can make it forget about us like Elky did?!"The dwarf then back up to the staircase.
The silent, empty armor resists Clas' push with unexpected tenacity... but in the end it is forced to move one metal shoe backwards. Then the other. The Scale Mail creaks and clangs as it struggles to hold on, but the indomitable warrior manages to move it into the room and follow! Now more will be able to enter... (OOC: You succeeded with your first try, no need to expend Action Surge)
Nim, in the meantime, intrigued, is ready to intervene... at least in (enchanted) words!
Now Round 2 starts! And more creaks and clangs are approaching form the mists... Anyway, Ilwythe and Ardana are up! Any order.
A question - can you describe the mist? How well can Ardana see Clas? If Ardana steps beyond Tarysaa to the North , will she be visible to the party? See whats beyond?
A question - can you describe the mist? How well can Ardana see Clas? If Ardana steps beyond Tarysaa to the North , will she be visible to the party? See whats beyond?
The area with the mist is heavily obscured - the opaque fog blocks vision entirely. A creature effectively suffers from the blinded condition when trying to see something in that area.
So, no, stepping beyond Tarysaa to the north, Ardana wouldn't see anything... nor be visible to the party. In fact, Clas also, at the moment, is not visible anymore to you... but, well, you had the impression that he was pushing, then he went on... you can guess that his efforts have been successful.
Yes, it shoud have... But I had forgot how dense the fog was, so I considered it a normal throw (and same for the other ranged attacks) - my bad.
So maybe Clas' move will prove even more useful than intended, since in the room there is no fog... so those who enter the room will be able to attack the Scale Mail without issues.
OK, assuming Ardana hears more approaching from the passage next to Tarysaa, Ardana wants to switch places with Tarysaa and attack whoever comes out of the fog to the North, with her greatsword.
Tarysaa tries to straighten up and apologize to Ardana at the same time when she is shouldered aside as Ardana swaps places with her. Noting the drawing of the greatsword, Tarysaa looks about her in sudden panic as she tries to find a place where she will NOT become wounded on a backswing motion. Moving as best she can, Tarysaa moves back out to the spiral staircase area where Nim once stood.
(OOC: OK, so Tarysaa will let Ardana take her place - and also move in a safer position; but that will only happen as soon as Tarysaa can act. I'm waiting a little longer to give Ilwythe time to act at the moment... then an unknown entity will take its turn... then our elf wizard will be able to act and, unless the situation has radically changed, everything will happen as you two wrote)
(OOC:Taking Ilwythe's turn) Ilwythe notices Clas' maneuver and takes advantage of it to burst into the room, where at least there's no mist lingering. Looking around, he doesn't see anything that looks like a 'flag' or is 'yellow'...so he concentrates on fighting the Scale Mail for now. The barbarian wields his rapier and unloads blow after blow into the self-moving armor.
The jab catches the Scale Mail, probably concentrated on Clas, completely unprepared, completely detaching some scales at the point of impact! The guardian continues to fight, but no doubt looks worse than before.
After that, just as Tarysaa was considering changing position, a rattling noise announces the arrival of another opponent from the north, towards her! The thick fog prevents you from seeing clearly, but the dented helmet and the gauntlet that are suddenly glimpsed suggest another self-moving armor.
Barakor, who was just waiting for an enemy to come in reach, tries to bite the newcomer!
Courageous but too impetuous, Barakor only manages to bite off pieces of metal without being able to scratch them. Dented Helmet joins the gauntlets and tries to lower them in a powerful blow on the wolf's head!
Barakor, due to the fog, realizes the threat too late! He tries to jump back, but still receives the blow on the shoulder and yelps in pain first, then growls in anger!
After that, Tarysaa finally leaves her place to Ardana who will be able to face Dented Helmet with her greatsword. The elf wizard instead disengages and reduces congestion in the conflict zone.
Now Daisy is up! (OOC: As clarified earlier with Ardana!: please, note that gray zones are heavily obscured! Attacking those in those areas - such as Dh - is done with Disadvantage! While there is no fog in the alcove or in SM's room)

so the javelin cast was blind then, and Ardana doesn't even know that a metal man was there?
