Tarysaa looks along the walls of the east-west hallway to see if there are any wall sconces to place a torch into. IF, there are, a lit torch will be placed there. If NOT, then the torch will have to lie on the ground mid-way in the hallway to give some minimal light to all in the area.
Again, then prepares her shortbow as she moves into position - back to the eastern most wall / centerline.
While the explorers hear the undead approaching and take position, the adventurers in the throne room too, hearing the advice of their friends, arrive, either to take part or, at least, to verify what is happening. Daisy, in particular, remains in a more secluded position (and Barakor does the same, remaining at her side). Tarysaa instead places a torch on the ground to illuminate the battlefield and nocks an arrow to her bow and Ilwythe joins Clas, on the opposite side of Ardana, ready to fight, with a handaxe in each hand.
Our heroes barely have time to reach the desired positions, when the first disturbing figures begin to appear... first of all that of Aberrand Undead (and also Gnashing Undead is about to appear in view of who is at the top at the stairs.
Now Nimblestep, Tarysaa and Clas aer up! Any order. Tarysaa can see Aberrant Undead, So can Clas, who can also see Gnashing Undead. Nim retreated too well, so he can't see the enemies, at the moment.
(OOC: Oh, one last thing: when you decide to attack one of the undead, please, specify if you are aiming at its head, right hand or left hand... These three parts, even if they appear to act in unison, are so separated from each other that they can be considered as three distinct targets).
With a lighthearted grin, he turns to his companions and quips, "It's like they decided to skip leg day and just went all in on head and hand day! Talk about unbalanced workouts. Hahahaha!" His laughter rings out, a mixture of amusement and readiness.
(OOC: It seems invoking fighting style protection requires a reaction and can only be done when a roll to attack is made by an enemy. So, I can only invoke it if I have a reaction available to use, which I will if Ardana or Ilwythe is attacked. Not having a reaction I can't ready an action, which requires both an action to prepare and a reaction to implement. So Clas holds. Plus, I have a poor memory but I seem to recall you didn't want us to use ready actions anyways. So, I'm good! Hahahaha!)

Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
[[ OOC: >> I had intended for Tarysaa to be at the OTHER extreme of the hallway area. So, her ranged shortbow attacks were not hampered by melee/close combat range. Basically, 10 feet from the OTHER wall (3rd square counting from the far right?) but on that same line as depicted. AND, the torch laying on the ground approx. 10 ft to the RIGHT of Nim's depicted position. ]]
As soon as a clean shot 'sight' is available, Tarysaa will attempt a shortbow attack.
(( will these be considered 'called shots' for the 3 'targets' on an undead? I ask since normally, 'called shots' come after gaining a feat or feat skill set vs generic archery... even the far superior elven archey skills. :P ))

I don't allow to ready an action before a fight starts, but here we are on round 4 of the fight... You can, if you like. But, yes, to perform the readied action you'd need to use your reaction - so if you want to save your reaction for your shield, it is better as you declared - to just hold position.

Thank you for the clarification (and for drawing the correct situation on a new map)!
Anyway, no 'called shots', you attack as usual, but you specify if you prefer to aim at head, left hand or right hand - it is as if they were 3 distinct enemies (like a kobold, a goblin and and orc).
Feel free to roll for your readied attack (specifying if to head, left hand or right hand), so as soon as I take the monster's turn I can narrate the outcome.

ONLY when there is a clear shot available: Head shotShortbow - To hit: NAT20 +6 = 26 Dmg: 9 pts
Tarysaa will reload and wait for her next chance to fire; making certain to NOT endanger her companions.
(OOC: OK, assuming Nim will be ready to attack if an enemy comes in range. @Nim: you can decide to do something else, if you prefer, just post)
The defense line is ready and the first to challenge it is Aberrant Undead. However, the monster had to deal without the excellent aim of Tarysaa, who had plenty of time to calm his nerves and concentrate. The elf shoots the arrow she had kept ready, hitting the monster squarely in the temple.
The monstrous head turns its distorted (and partially rotting) features at Tarysaa, glaring at her with hatred, but the monster promptly seems to understand that it will not be able to reach the archer until it first clears the line of defence... It then leaps , head and hands, in front of Clas and attacks wildly!
The left hand tries to scratch Ardana, the right hand Ilwythe and the head reaches out to bite Clas.
(OOC: Clas, in this case it wasn't decisive, but in the future it could be: if both Ardana and Ilwythe are attacked, who is it you want to protect with your Reaction? You only have one reaction, so you have to choose which one to protect, in these cases...)
The monster attacks in a wild but predictable way and our heroes manage to fend off bites and scratches.
((OOC: Hahahaha! I hate thinking! Hahahaha! I'll use my reaction following this line of thought. 1. A monster hits someone other than me. 2. The person was hit with a bite attack. 3. If no one was hit with a bite attack and there is the possibility of another bite attack this round, then I'll not react. 4. If no one was hit with a bite attack and there is not a possibility of another bite attack this round, then the person hit with a crit. 5. The person hit. 6. The person hit with the lowest amount of health. 7. The person hit who does the most damage on average in a turn. 8. The person hit who is most likely to make me laugh (you're call!) Hahahaha! - Or I just react to the first person hit by something, and since Barrel is held in my right hand, ties go to the closest person on my right and then my left! Hahahaha!))

"Barakor, stay back! I don't want you getting hurt again,"Daisy advises her companion. "Now, make room everyone!"
The dwarf's form once again changes shape. However, this time the creature looks more like Barakor, but almost twice the size. A dire wolf now joins the fight. It snarls and then jumps toward the undead monster, snapping at one of its arms.
(BA: Wild Shape. Action: Attack Au's right arm - 18 to hit [adv for pack tactics], 5 damage; it needs to make a DC 13 StrST, prone on fail.
Not sure how positioning works now that my size has changed, but I'd like to stay as close to the stairs as possible.)
(OOC: Positioning becomes tricky, because you now occupy 4 squares and you can't voluntarily end your movement in an occupied square - so many others will need to make room, as you asked. Ilwythe was able to act at your same time, so I'll have him move away and Nim had readied an action... and exceptionally I will allow him to use his reaction for something he didn't anticipate: move and make room for Daisy.Normally, in other circumstances, Daisy would simply have had to wait for the allies to move before being able to get close and attack).
Hearing Daisy's imperious exhortation to make room, Ilwythe and Nim fall back, careful not to leave any openings for the enemy.
Daisy then completes her transformation, becoming a large beast! With her bite, Daisy mangles the monster's right hand, making it useless.
(OOC: The hand, practically destroyed, offers no resistance when Daisy, with her bite, yanks it - so the undead monster is not dragged to the ground)
(Initiative 17)
Daisy hurries through the secret passage to see what the commotion is coming up the stairs.
"Sounds like trouble is following them," the dwarf say to Tarysaa.
