"Dev heard," Lokilia says in response to Normont. "But you're right Normont, it doesn't make much sense. Maybe we peak in and see who's in there?" She hears Dev's suggestion, and nods. "Yea, there were people out there. Might look odd if we pop out the main door."
Normont is very, very tempted to get a peek at whoever is in the other room sleeping. He thinks for a moment, and then nods his head in ascent of the plan to take a look.
With regards leaving by the back door, again they made a good point. They couldn't simply walk out in plain view if they wanted this visit to be discreet.
"You are right. If we are sure we can tell where we are, that should be enough. In fact, if the windows open, we could maybe let Amber out that way and she can pinpoint the location. Unless you are certain you have it, Dev".
If Dev is certain, and they do try and peek into the chamber of the sleeping person, he will join in with the peeking before heading down.
He does want to make sure he gets as much information from his ability to see magic whilst he is in the house though.
( The location is fairly simple to determine- it is on the corner of the same alley facing a parallel street. The surrounding businesses make it even easier to remember.
So.....downstairs or is someone opening other doors?)
”We’re actually right on the street corner,” Dev answers Normont in a whisper. (Is Dev still riding his crit for stealth? If so he’ll open the door to the Room of Snoring. If not, he’ll wait for the others to try the door and be ready with a Sleep spell if need be.)

Normont sees the sleeping elderly woman and stops still, knowing that if she wakes and sees them the fright might be very bad for the old woman. He looks about, in case there is any magic he can see, but then retreats out the door.
"She was very old. I wouldn't want to startle her", he whispers.
He is now ready to look around downstairs.
Special: Concentration on Detect Magic - probably still a few minutes left.
After Normont had retreated, closed the door and told the others what he saw, Dev whispers back, “This doesn’t really add up as normal… but nothing connects her to Glinnick’s or the Nameless Ones either… maybe we can visit during daylight hours and find out about the table.”
He retreats down the stairs, again ready with an enchanting melody should the Fox wake up.

He does note a faint Enchantment on an object around the old woman's neck before the door is closed.
Lokilia retreats back out of the room as she's Normont do the same. "She didn't look like someone dangerous or anything. Maybe this place doesn't have any connection and is just randomly next to Glinnick's?"
A magic necklace, or perhaps locket, Normont ponders for moment. He is then drawn back to current events.
"Perhaps we need to come back and talk to the old lady to discover that. But for now, shall we leave and determine the address of this house from outside. We can then do our research and learn more, perhaps we will glean the truth of this place that way", he suggests, not able to give Lokilia any sort of definitive answer.
Returning downstairs the fox is still sound asleep, looking through the open doorway towards the front of the house you can make out a rather odd room......it has wide large windows facing the street that are obscured with large velvet curtains and is sectioned off to one side with a wide bench behind which is located a small kitchenette. The main part of the room has a small dining table and a single chair......then it strikes you. This is a shop that has been converted into a residence.
A single door to the left of the huge front facing window is barred from within with a wooden slat.
Looking into the room and at the barred door specifically, Normont wonders if that backs onto Glinnick's or is it another part of this shop turned house. Or is it just a door that leads outside.
"Table and a single chair," Lokilia mutters. "That mean there's just the one old lady living here? But if the door here is barred how does she get in and out?"
"Dev heard," Lokilia says in response to Normont. "But you're right Normont, it doesn't make much sense. Maybe we peak in and see who's in there?" She hears Dev's suggestion, and nods. "Yea, there were people out there. Might look odd if we pop out the main door."

Quinn tries to be a statue as to not raise alarm
Lokilia will try to quietly open the door to the room where there seemed to be someone sleeping.

As mentioned, if there is peeking to be done, Normont will join in. He moves to lean around Lokilia's legs to see in the room as she opens the door.
Stealth: 17+2=19 (+10 for pass without trace which I believe is still active)
Normont and Lokilia spy a large wooden framed bad upon which is sleeping a very elderly woman wrapped up in a down duvet.
Normonts entrance is silent but Lokilias is less so.......but the old woman does not appear to immediately awaken.
There are three large wardrobes in the room and an ensuite room opposite the door.
