Seeing that the creature is weaker and weaker, Thar tries to end it.
" I said..." he swings his glaive and tries to cut Rose's head but he doesn't stops there, he spins it and tries to thrust the pinted, metal end of his weapon into her chest "You leave her alone!!"
With Kit's mighty blow followed by two of Thar's own, The witch suddenly falls silent. Rather than collapsing, she grows stiff, her skin and vine garments fading to dull colors. She is now just a lifeless husk, a husk that is slowly withering away. Moments after she takes her final breath, vines begin erupting from the floor. It seems Rose's dark magic has gone wild. Or perhaps it's reclaiming dominion over itself... Either way, you all can tell...if you don't get out of here quickly you might be engulfed.
While some vines continue to grow, others seem to be withering away like the dead husk of the witch. The vines holding those large masses at the back of the cave shrivel and die, allowing the content's to fall to the ground. Bodies of those who had been lost.
Many of them are clearly long dead. However, there are a few who appear that they could be saved....
Many of the vines continue to grow towards the ceiling, breaking open the soil above. Daylinght shines down, momentarily blinding you. However you are able to recover quickly...but now what will you do?
"We got to grab anyone that's still alive and get moving!" Omen shouts as he scrambles towards some of the survivors. After sheathing his weapons he quickly grabs two separate victims by the hand and drags them both behind him as he races towards the exit...
Kit moves with a single-minded focus to Twig, sheathing her sword and lifting the girl over her shoulder. Her next move is to scan the immediate area for a boy of similar age, hoping that it might be the missing Telron...
Thar tries to break out of the vines that still restrain him and tries to see if they could climb one of the vines that had opened the ceiling. Perhaps his size could help the others to reach the vine and climb to safety.
"Omen, Kit.. Up! " he points " Take them up they cannot go back the way we came!"
Omen, you successfully grab Akyan as well as a half-elf man who you don't recognize. The half-elf looks as if he's barely alive. His face is gaunt and pale, and he is clearly malnourished. However, you can tell he is alive, and with your keen senses, you can tell that most of the others are already dead.
Make a strength check Omen, dragging two full-grown men by the arms isn't an easy feat! If you pass the DC of 13, then make an acrobatics or athletics check.
Kit, you immediately locate Twig. She looks a bit pale, but is otherwise in as good a condition as you could expect. Soon after retrieving her from the vines, you easily spot a young elven boy close by. He is in fair condition, but is far worse off than Twig. He has obvious bite marks on his neck.
You can take these kids out fairly easily if you sling one over each shoulder. They aren't very heavy. If you plan to rush strait out without helping anyone else, make either an athletics check or an acrobatics check.
Thar, after freeing yourself from the swiftly withering vines, you dart forward to help save whoever can be saved. Despite your poor perception, (Likely from the stress of the situation....) you easily spot a figure that is far larger than those around it. Underneath several bodies of other victims, is your father. Rushing over to him, you can determine that he is alive. But barely. Like the half-elf Omen is attempting to drag out of the crumbling cave, he appears malnourished and sickly. There is even dust on his head, signaling that he has been trapped here for quite some time.
Near him you also note the body of a fairy woman, though it seems it is to late to save her.
Once you decide to move, you also need to make an athletics or acrobatics check Thar.

Kit grabs the two children and leaps amidst the falling rubble and writhing vines, immediately noting that jumping through the roof is probably the fastest and safest option. She jumps strait through at lightning speed and finds a safe place to lay the two kids, then she looks back down the rapidly crumbling tomb to see Omen struggling to drag two fully men towards the exit. As he does so, he is unable to avoid some of the falling rubble. (Take 5 bludgeoning damage) Dirt and rocks crumple and rain down on him and the two he is dragging. Kit knows she could easily get back down there to help him with the two men. (You rolled a nat 20 lol so you can get back down there to help again without rolling, but you'll need to roll again to get back out.) You can use the fallen rubble to climb out.
(Flat strength was for dragging the people. Athletics/Acrobatics was for navigating the terrain.)
(Omen, if kit takes either Akyan or the Half-elf, all you need to do is roll Athletics or acrobatics.)
Failing to wake his father, Thar hoists him over his shoulder and rushes towards the exit only to find it blocked off. However, you note that you could use the fallen rubble to climb out. Determined to save your father, you easily traverse the terrain popping up out of the ground and into the forest.

She knows she should care about rescuing the other victims, even if it means risking her own life. That's what heroes do.
But she's not a hero. No matter how much she wants to believe she is.
It's Omen that drives her to act. She won't leave the Kenku behind.
Leaping down, she takes the Half-Elf from Omen and starts dragging them. "Hurry up old man,"Kit jests, the old bravado covering her fear like a favorite blanket.

"Hey! I... don't you worry about me!" The kenku chirps back inbetween heavy breaths. He quickly allows Kit to take the injured half-elf from him even though he doesn't want to do it before continuing up out of the hole...
( Can Thar go back down too and help Omen and Kit? or grab more survivors? or there is no time left? )
(You MIGHT be able to get back down there to grab more people. Though from what you could tell most of them looked dead. (you did roll very low perception))
(If Thar goes back down there, he will have two attempts to get back out before being buried.)
Once Kit takes the half-elf, Omen easily scale's the fallen rubble. He rushes up and out of the cave with Akyan in tow. Kit on the other hand, now perhaps a bit to confident in her ability to escape slips and falls back down, some debris fall on top of her and the half-elf. Not enough to trap you, but enough to hurt. (Take 5 damage)
(My first crit in 5e!!!! Crit damage: 2)

(Damage marked. I'll wait until Frandal takes Thar's action and then I presume you need another acrobatics/athletics checks for Kit?)
ooc: I crit my perception check earlier, would I have noticed anyone else alive to attempt to help or to instruct Thar to save?
