Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Delvindra washes her clothes in the bath and hangs them to dry before bathing herself. She starts to get dressed before going down to dinner but reconsiders and wears her Ilmateri vestments instead. The plain grey robes are only slightly less coarse than her normal clothing, but significantly less worn. It seems sacrilegious to wear religious garb to a meal but she justifies it to herself that it would dishonor the Ilmateri if she shows up at Sir Charles table dressed like a pauper.
At dinner she takes her customary small portions but, seeing as there is more than enough food (and it all tastes so good) she goes back and eats her fill...and beyond.
Likewise, she begins by cutting her wine with water but, as the meal goes on, each glass sees less water and more wine until her cobalt cheeks flush a deep violet and she turns giggly.
The sheets on her bed are the finest fabric she's ever felt and she sleeps nearly nude just to experience it with as much of her skin as possible. The guilt from her night of hedonism, along with the unaccustomed silence in her mind denies her sleep, until she takes off the Ring of Mind Shielding and allows the voices in her head to usher in her dreams with dark whispered lullabies...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
At the dinner table, the read-haired half-elf would indulge in polite and pleasant conversation, seeming quite confident in social situations, even amongst nobility, enjoying the feast conjured up by her master who has already returned to his luxurious palace pocket plane imprisonment. For those willing to listen she would mention in passing that she has travelled from the shining desert lands to the far south and that she came upon the sapphire ring by chance, or maybe fate. If and when she would deem it appropriate for the dinner she would also sing a song from back home, a beautiful but sad song about a young girl that looks up to the starry skies above her home, wishing for a life away from destitution and suffering.

Sometime after dinner when the companions find themselves away from the eyes and ears of the others, Yasmina reveals what she had collected back at the camp, also explaining the properties of the items, explaining she would see them shared for mutual benefit during their quest for salvation. As decision has been made on how to distribute the items, the young half-elf would bid the others a good night, finding her way to her bedroom to enjoy the softness of her luxurious bed.
"Thank you for your help so far Sir Charles..."Yasmina says with a polite smile. "...now if this would be our last day in civilization, is there something you recommend us to do while in Tormere, or do you perhaps know of somewhere we could seek more knowledge about what we will face ahead?" She finishes with a slight bow.
Duwamilly shows up at the party masterfully 'improvised' by Amir refreshed and dressed in a white linen chemise, over this one ankle-to-floor length red gown decorated with sober embroidery based on intersecting geometric shapes, on her feet, polo shoes with the long one elegant tip slightly arched upwards which she can never afford to wear during travels and adventures as they are impractical.
'Since the last time I taught, I haven't worn clothes other than metal armour...' the ex-Preceptor thinks 'But, hey, the world is certainly an interesting place, but much more dangerous than a classroom of school or of the room in the house where one tries to teach the noble offspring to do something good with their life...'
Accustomed to seeing a certain luxury (though perhaps not at the level of Charlie's Mansion) and a certain abundance (though perhaps not at the level of Amir's banquet) the gnome cleric moderates herself enough to enjoy food and drink fully, rather than gorging herself and willingly engages in conversation with diners. When Yasmina sings, she listens attentively to her performance, appreciating it, of course, but even more studying it, as if she were particularly interested in it.
Among other things, Duwamilly feels obliged to inform the two Dragonborn newcomers: "You know, kids? As we mentioned, we also have 'problems' similar to yours to solve. And this is the reason why our goal is Shaded Isle. From what we have discovered, Lord Akkron rules there, an undead lord, a lich, who seems to have a deep knowledge of the arcane and - more importantly - who is not the usual evil power hungry sadistic tomb reject".
"He seems remorseful for becoming what he is now" the ex-preceptor continues. "He has helped someone we know. Furthermore, he has a she-warlock who serves him faithfully, because this lich freed her (and other slaves) from drow slavery. You should know that he has a deep-rooted enmity towards the drow; when he was still human, he had a daughter and his daughter was murdered by the dark elves..."
"In the meantime," the gnome cleric sighs "we have met Frinion, a very powerful - and very exalted - wizard who calls himself the 'Exalted of the Dragon'. He hatches an insane plan: he intends to awaken and unleash on the world an ancient and powerful Great Wyrm, known as 'One Who Sleeps'. She was a powerful dragon who's greed grew so great that she attempted to conquer the entire world and add all things to her horde. This dragon became so powerful that the gods feared she might soon ascend to godhood... and so seven heroes were chosen to be avatars of the gods, and together they were able to vanquish the mighty dragon and imprison her deep within the earth. Frinion, this dear rescuer of dragon-damsels in distress, is trying to free her and there are items of great power which shall facilitate the Great Wyrm's return... Well, Frinion is convinced that all or some of our powerful magical items, the ones that have the 'problems' we know about, may be the objects he is looking for. He has already tried to take them from us and will certainly try again in the future".
"I don't know if he is already aware of your magical objects, Godrick and Wyvern," concludes Duwamilly, staring at the two dragonborn with her brown eyes, at the bottom of which affection and empathy shine "but sooner or later he will be... And probably, the next moment he will decide that your objects interest him no less than ours - and he will hunt you down. It is better for you to stay with us, kids, and let us make common cause. Perhaps, in addition to being able to help us with our 'problems', Lord Akkron will also be interested in Frinion's crazy schemes. After all, why bother staying eternally in the world as a lich... and then letting said world to be destroyed by the first unleashed godlike-dragon that wakes up? It's our best bet. And It'll definitely be fun too! When will you get the chance to befriend an Undead Overlord again? Or prank an exalted dragon-obsessed mage? Come on, kids!"
Over the course of the next day, Duwamilly takes the opportunity to find out where the nearest Garl Glittergold temple is and visit it! Something tells her she won't get the chance often on the Shaded Isle...
Throughout the meal, Delvindra seems captivated by Yasmina's social grace, her tales of far off lands, and especially her singing.
She mostly ignores Duwamilly's droning though, perhaps emboldened by drink, she does speak up at one point...
"How do you know their problems are similar to ours," she asks in reference to the Dragonborn cousins, "for that matter, how do you know that our problems are all that similar to each other? All we really know is that we all went to the temple for help with a curse and that we all have something that Firion wants."
“In fact, I can't be perfectly sure,” Duwamilly admits. "But not only Frinion was interested in all of us... or at least, in all of our 'problematic' objects. We also have in common that even the most powerful clerics of Ilmater could not solve our 'problems'. I don't think it's that so common... Plus, all our 'problematic' objects are quite powerful. I strongly suspect that, despite the variety of 'problems' at play, we have many factors in common".
"You are both right I believe..."Yasmina says with a gentle voice, looking between the gnome and the tiefling with a diplomatic and friendly smile. "...I already have resigned myself to journeying to this haunted island and seek the aid of a lich together with the three of you." She continues, briefly glancing over at the not quite so talkative warrior. "Our new companions though, if they are interested in coming along we could perhaps hear from them about how they were cursed." She says, looking over at the gold dragonborn cousins. "It could be helpful to build some trust between us all before we face the mortal perils ahead."

Halfway through your meal, you hear a large *SLUUUUUURP*, as a large bowl of still steaming soup, is lifted into the air, and poured out, disappearing in Godrick's mouth.
"Oh, you mean those robed people who tried to steal my ring? Yeah, they couldn't get me, cuz I was invisible."
"Are you saying Firion already attacked you and your cousin? Tell us all about it! It is important."Yasmina says with clear worry in her voice, looking between the two gold dragonborn, although one she can't quite see.
"Well, Wyrm wasn't with me at the time, but I was eating in a tavern, and a guy and gal in black robes came up to me, and asked if I had a curse item in possession, and if it happened to be the ring on my finger. Naturally, as they shouldn't be able to know this, I said 'weeeeeell sh*t.' That made me invisible, and I ran away. That's about it.
The red-haired half-elf gives the invisble dragonborn a puzzled look, not sure if he was trying to joke again. "So no mention of Firion then, just some black robed persons asking about your ring?" She asks, not fully trusting the dragonborn's strange story. "And what about you? How did you get cursed and did you have any encounters with Firion or his disciples so far?" Yasmina turns and asks the visible cousin.
Yasmina: Regarding things to do in Tormere, there are plenty of markets where you could buy or sell almost anything that you want. If you wish to search for more information regarding the perils ahead, Sir Charles has a rather large private historical archive that he would be willing to let you look through.
Duwamilly: The temple of Garl Glittergold is in gnome settlement that is just outside the city. It's not hard to find. What would you like to do there?

Is there some treasure room or room full of antiques? I'm looking for a place with a large # of items in one area, where I can cast detect magic to find hidden magical objects.
I walk up to a servant who saw my invisibility ability last night. I am invisible when approaching them... hehehe
"HI!!!" *waits for the servants shock to fade* "*wheezing laugh* HAHAHAHahaha... Yeah it's me. The invisible hottie. Anyways, I'd like to provide a service to Sir Charles! I'd be willing to look through an assortment of his objects, and identify which are magical, if he as of yet is unaware. If he already has magical items, but doesn't know what they do, I can tell him that too!" (OOC: I'm basically saying I have the Detect Magic spell and Identify)
The tiefling very nearly jumps out of his skin again. But he recovers quickly.
"Well... um... sir?" Herbert says, doing his best to figure out what he should be looking at while speaking to this invisible entity. "Milord does have a museum of sorts, if you wish to see it... though I am fairly certain that he is well aware of any magical properties that his collection may have. I would prefer if you speak to the master of the house first before going to see the display."
It isn't hard for Delvindra to find Herbert if she wants to chat. Just follow the hysterical laughter of the invisible dragonborn.
