Gor spends some time examining the mushrooms, stooping down to see if he can tell if they're different varieties, or if he thinks any of them are edible, poisonous, or otherwise.
Survival Roll: 3
(Not actually sure if that should be survival though so...if it's Nature...just subtract 2 from the result. Gor's Nature is 0)
"We can eat these, oah." Gor says definitively, looking at the mushrooms. He begins harvesting pieces...and then takes a bite of one. Because he's super smart like that.

As the others approach via the slope, Quin decides that an alternate route keeps them from putting all their eggs in one basket so he tries for the closest cliff opening. Climbing slowly and carefully.

Which one? Cross the river for the one opposite the slope, or the one just to the south of it? You successfully climb up, just working out where you are.
As for everyone else, the opening leads to a 5ft opening, It is a 7ft high flat ceiling (and is wherever you go within here), there is a corridor of to the left immediately, and splits both left and right after 25ft. (Once Quin specifies an opening, I will post an updated map)
When we enter (at least the ones that are with Biezdar) the caves. Biezdar shouts out before going further: "Hello! We are from Phandalin! We came to talk! Is anyone here?!" - and then says to his companions - "I would not like to be considered a burglar here, coming in unannounced"

You all find that within the caves, the sound of the waterfall echoes greatly. You need to shout to be heard in the same room, and likely can't be heard from further away. As such, Biezdar hears no reply.
Quin finds a larger cave. The floor of this cave is strewn with the remnants of old campfires. Four side caves serve as sleeping areas, with five small wooden cots crammed into each one. Eight gnomes are currently asleep, 2 in each side cave. With the sounds from the waterfall, they do not hear you and so do not stir.
All caves are illuminated by hanging oil lanterns attached to rope-and-pulley mechanisms that make it easy for the gnomes to lower the lanterns and refill them with oil. So you don't need to worry about your own light sources.
Also, (won't update the map yet for ease) assuming you do step into the corridor (not quin), you would easily see along the first offshoot so would see it continue about the same length before joining a room. You can't see within the room as the corridor joins to the corner, but you can tell it looks about twice as wide as the corridor, extending off to the right
"I do not think anyone hears me... maybe they all are dead long ago. However if they are not, then i suggest picking that first left corridor and try to find someone to introduce ourselves before we start going around some deeper tunnels."
Biezdar has a bad feeling about this, and his mood shifts from that happy go lucky when he saw waterfall and colorful shrooms to more serious but he tries to not fully show that change. Weapon not yet drawn. But shield is equipped and he pushes himself to front in case of an attack.

You go carefully down the corridor and find a room containing several dining tables and chairs sized for Small folk. A stout wooden cabinet against the east wall holds tin dishware and utensils. A corridor to the north has two paths branching from it.
”If this place had been raided, all of this would be ransacked. And if the dragon had attacked, there’d be bodies or blood or *something*. Not enough dust to be abandoned, too tidy to be a massacre site.”
The bard shrugs.
”They must be further in, in some other part of the cave. The city wouldn’t have posted a job to send folks to a settlement they knew to be deserted.”
Be that as it may, Jayson draws and loads his x-bow.
”I say we press on. There’s more here to discover.”
"Oah, not bad." Gor remarks, getting his fill of the mushroom. "Not good but not bad. Ah, but what do we have here?"
They enter the cave from the waterfall entrance, and he walks along with the rest of the party, having a look around at the (less than...) half sized furnishings. He reaches out, poking and prodding at different furnishings and pint sized wares as they head deeper into the caves.
"Where'd everybody go?" He says, looking around. Then he spots the sleeping Gnomes and goes over to shake one awake...
I did understand that right, didn't I? There are 8 Gnomes there asleep that haven't heard us because of the waterfall?
Not wanting to disturb anyone and realizing that this won't connect back to where the others came in, Quin slips back out the way he came and tries to catch up to the others.

Sleeping gnomes are on the other side where Quin climbed up. Before he slipped down and took 13 fall damage as he fell 30ft. Provided he survives, I would say if Quin decides to climb the same cliff again, he has advantage due to the successful climb so he knows where to hold.
Kosef backs up Gor. "Be careful friend, although they seem docile, gnomes are known to be powerful magic users and cunningly intelligent." He has become more wary of late.

Biezdar Knocks on the first doors (if there are any) If there is no response he will open them to see who or what is inside.

You find a door, knock on it, and hear a voice from the other side shout something that no one understands (Gnomish). After a short pause, you hear the same voice shout "Come in?" seemingly confused at the lack of gnomish response. Upon opening the door, you see a kitchen. A female gnome is using a poker to stoke a hot iron stove along the east wall, a male gnome is using a press like contraption to squeeze oil out of one of the red mushrooms, a female gnome is stood at a low table using a mechanical rolling pin contraption to kneed green bread dough. The caps of some green mushrooms are seen around her. Another male gnome is forming the dough into all sorts of intricate loaves, his tongue sticking out in concentration, and a final female gnome is stuffing some purple mushrooms into a barrel. Upon seeing you, one of the gnomes speaks up "Visitors? That is unusual, how can we help?"
”Good day to you, ma’am. We apologize for dropping in uninvited. We called out, but the noise of the waterfall made such a gesture useless.”
The bard extends his hand.
”My name is Jayson. My companions and I are acting on behalf on Phlandarin. You see, there is a dragon that has been attacking various locations in the region. We are the latest group to be tasked with dealing with this ongoing menace. It was suggested by the townmaster that you and your fellow residents of Gnomegarde, being as magically and mechanically gifted as you are, might have a device or implement that could well make all the difference in overcoming the wyrm. We wanted to pay your community a visit to see if you had any such item you might permit us to use, borrow, or buy?”
He smiles wider.
”Would you be the person to discuss that with?”

There are no negative effects from the mushroom, it doesn't taste bad, bit dry and powdery though.
