Xanrym needs line-of-sight to target someone with the spell. If he cannot see scarface (Derek), I should have said that he'll move out of his room and toward the end of the hall, if needed, to get line-of-sight on scarface (Derek). In that case, he uses 20' of movement (counting moving through Theldrin's square as difficult terrain) and would end his turn next to both Theldrin and Liarin.
(For example, if Theldrin is moving over to target Derek, Xanrym could simply move forward 5 ft. so that he can target the other two cultists adjacent to Lldryk, directly south and west of him, with his Vicious Mockery.)
I don’t have time to read this all right now but going from the damage it seems Derek and his goons are down from the vicious mockery and magic missile. Misha is still up but is eyeing the hallway behind her hesitantly.
Misha takes a slash across the arm and looks at Liarin in righteous rage. "You cannot defeat us, we are a part of something far greater than you will ever know." Although she knows the predicament she's in. She's eyeing off the passageway behind her.
Rolling for Lldryk who is potentially afk for a bit. All rolls in game log.
Lldryk leaps forward and slashes Misha along the arm. She snarls at you all, “This isn’t the end of this, you scum.” She takes the Dash Action while throwing up a Shield of Faith to attempt to run back into the secret entrance behind her. Lldryk is able to get another slash on her back as she runs. She is looking really beat now. All slashed up and running out of spell slots. But she manages to get down the hall that runs behind these rooms. Unless someone chases her, she disappears and you hear footprints running downstairs. “Help, Derek is dead and these fools have thwarted us. Where are those two that Grover sent to capture the knight? Dogroot, you go get them.”
In response to Xanryms cries earlier, you hear yells coming from a couple other single rooms upstairs. One is a muffled yell from the room next to Liarins, followed by a clearer yell from the one next to that, “I say, is that someone out there to rescue us?” Otherwise it appears you are alone up here.
(OOC: I'm assuming that Liarin and Lldryk are near the secret door, but Theldrin and Xanrym are still in the hallway outside the room. Since Misha just acted, I guess it's back to "group 3" in the initiative order: Xanrym, Theldrin, and Lldryk.)

Since Xanrym is in the hallway, he figures that Lldryk and Liarin are in better position to give chase. He says, "I'll try to cut her off." Xanrym assumes that Misha's secret tunnel must lead back to ground floor somehow, and he only knows of one stairway that leads downstairs. Therefore, he runs down the hallway (east) toward the stairs.

As he passes the door to the room next to Liarin's, he tries the handle and, if it's not locked, throws the door open.
If the door is locked or does not open, he continues down the hall toward the stairway. (dashing)
Movement: 60' (dashing) Action: dash Free Action: Talking, Trying the door handle.
If the door opens and reveals either Avery or some stranger(s) struggling with more cultists, he'll give up his chase of Misha to deal with whatever is in the room.
Movement: 20' to the door of the room next to Liarin's (based on the map in the OOC thread) + possibly 10' more (depending on what's in the room) Action: TBD (depends on what he sees in the room) Free Action: Talking, Opening the door of the room next to Liarin's
Theldrin exhales as his shoulders slump in relief at seeing Derek and the remaining goons go down. Tempted for a moment to chase after Misha he quickly decides to follow Xanrym so the bard is not on his own.
Xandrym - The door next to Liarin's room is locked. You have enough movement to get to a turn in the hallway just as Misha comes out of a secret door at the top of the stairs and and runs down them. She is still on the stairwell and shouting orders to the men who run the inn. She's telling the cook to go get reinforcements. At this point it seems as though she's setting up to run a kind of siege. On your next turn you can run downstairs and carry on the combat. That might actually work in your favour, as Misha was looking pretty beat the last time you saw her. Although you can also take the time while she's preparing to prepare upstairs here yourself. Searching rooms and healing up.
Theldrin - As Xandrym tries the first door, you hear the muffled shouting get louder and more desprate. The voice behind door two shouts again, "If you're going to rescue me, could you do it soon? I'm getting a little chilly."

(OOC: I'm going to wait for a little while to see what Lldryk and Liarin did while Xanrym ran up the hallway. I assume that he'd see or at least hear them coming down the same secret passage after Misha if one of them gave chase. I also wonder whether Theldrin stopped at either of those two doors. That is, just how alone is Xanrym as he reaches the top of the stairs?
Has Xanrym still neither seen nor heard Avery? Since the fighter wasn't in the room when Xanrym woke up, he's now worried that Avery left the room for some reason and encountered these same cultists. Do we hear him fighting somewhere? Hopefully, he's not already killed or captured!)
Updated: various corrections to make real sentences.
You’ve not seen nor heard any sign of Avery, although Misha was just talking to other people downstairs about two men sent to capture “the knight”. That could be Avery or maybe someone else.
Unfortunately you’ll have to Dash to keep step with Misha, so that will take your action instead of throwing daggers. You see in inside of the secret hallway behind the private rooms. With four secret doors facing the back of each room. It’s wet and dank in here, but fairly well used with candles on the wall and a table at the end of the hallway. You are able to see Misha as you reach the top of the stairs. Heading down and into the main bar area. You also see Bertram the bartender down there, listening and obeying Misha with bleary eyes servitude.
Basically at this point. If you all want to go downstairs we can roll initiative and go into a fight. Or you can stay up here and search around. Either is fine with me, just do you know your options.
(OOC: Sorry, I updated Xanrym's movement after the initial post. I'll leave it to the DM to resolve it how he wants to.)
(For example, if Theldrin is moving over to target Derek, Xanrym could simply move forward 5 ft. so that he can target the other two cultists adjacent to Lldryk, directly south and west of him, with his Vicious Mockery.)
(Or perhaps Theldrin moves over 10 feet to make room for Xanrym so we can both target Derek, if DM agrees)

Theldrin decides to stay with Xanrym, planning to come back as soon as he can for a rescue but feeling that stopping Misha is currently the priority.
Lldryk give chase. If I get a decent chance, I am going to throw 2 daggers at Misha's back as she is running. Dagger 1: 18 Dam: 6 Dagger 2: 18 Dam: 7

Alright, i'll wait a couple of hours to hear from the others, and then i'll just keep taking turns in the initiative order, no need to reroll.
