(@Aaggie - Based on my tracking sheet, I have Avery at 8 HP at the start of his turn this round. I think that @JehanO also tracks the party's status separately.)
Xanrym nearly jumps when lighting leaps forth from the hallway multiple times -- presumably coming from the Kuo-Toa priest -- and striking Syllen. Xanrym is glad that he hid from the priest and that he hasn't seen the priest approach the end of the hallway yet. The Company needs to take out these guards so that the Kuo-Toa priest cannot just stand safely at the other end of the tunnel and zap everyone with lightning. He calls out to Syllen, "Can you send your pack up the hallway toward their leader?"
Since Xanrym is still not in view of the Kuo-Toa priest, he will use his magic to aid him in aiming a crossbow bolt at one of the Kuo-Toa Monitors, whichever one seems most injured.
Movement: After he fires his crossbow, Xanrym moves 10-ft north and 5-ft west. Action: Cast a spell True Strike with Attack the most-damaged Kuo-Toa Monitor, Crossbow, Light (80/320): 24, Damage: 7 (piercing) + 7 (radiant) = 14 (total) Free Action: Equip crossbow

(OOC: @drumdigby - Just to clarify, whichever Kuo-Toa Monitor is alive and most-injured after any damage from Syllen's spell because the Monitors didn't move out of the AoE on their turn. If Avery's took damage from that spell again and then Avery hit it, I guess that one might already be dead.)
Also... Bardic Inspiration: Khessa still has bardic inspiration (1d8) from Xanrym Once within the next 1 hour when she fails a D20 Test, she can roll the bardic inspiration die and add the number rolled to the d20, possibly turning failure into a success.
Yes, I know and I'm grateful for the d8, but my last to hit roll was a nat 1, so the bardic inspiration would not have helped. I will put it to good use later.
(OOC: Yep, understood. No worries. I just try to put that kind of tracking info in Xanrym's posts since it's easy to lose track when we're not all around the same table or even in a VTT that has tools for tracking these kinds of details.)
Syllen not positive that he can take another hit from the priest will take the dodge action.
Action: Dodge
Move: 30 feet North
Syllen will move the spirits 5 feet south so the creatures are out of range and then move them 25 feet North. When the spirits move into range of the creatures Syllen will attempt to have the spirit damage the creatures if they are still alive.
Theldrin's firebolt flies wide, the Monitors make their saves against Conjure Animals (got to remember to move monsters away from this spell.) Also Avery note that I never touch any PC's hit points, I'll only roll some simple attacks for you so you don't miss your turn.
The Monitor's both dodge the spirit wolves, but both get hit from either side from Khessa and Avery's swords, as well as Xanrynm's True Strike. Coriana moves in and kills the first Monitor, then cagily slides to the east and her second sword hits the 2nd Monitor. Kuo-Toa around the spirit wolves all make dex saves:
The Kuo-ToaThe three regular Kuo-Toa take damage, which snaps them out of the Hypnotic Pattern. The Priest yells at them to get into the fight. Two attack Coriana, while one goes for the blurry Khessa. The Monitor attacks Avery, hoping to fell him. The last two regular Kuo-Toa are still incapacitated.
Kuo-Toa 4 against Coriana: Attack: 18 Damage: 2 Piercing
Kuo-Toa 5 against Coriana: Attack: 18 Damage: 8 Piercing
Kuo-Toa 6 against Khessa Attack: 5 Damage: 4 Piercing
Bone Whip 1 against Avery Attack: 12 Damage: 6 Slashing plus 9 Lightning, and Avery cannot make Opportunity Attacks until the start of the Monitor's next turn.
Bone Whip 1 against Avery Attack: 23 Damage: 8 Slashing plus 7 Lightning, and Avery cannot make Opportunity Attacks until the start of the Monitor's next turn.
Assuming that dropped Avery, the Monitor steps over his body and advances. The Kuo-Toa priest yells in victory and throws two Strange Scepter lightning bolts, the first at Coriana:
Strange Scepter against Coriana Attack: 7 Damage: 22 Lightning
"No! Avery!"Khessa worries as the friends falls to the kuo-toa onslaught "Come to me now, you fish-smelling rotten scoundrells!" she snarls at the enemies.
The blonde arcane warrior spins her magic mighty blade in circle, trying to cut down to size the nearby monsters.
[[ OOC: Attack with Greatsword against the most injured nearby enemy ]]
(OOC: Unfortunately I did not specify but Syllen does not want to have the spirits damage the creatures affected by hypnotic pattern.)
Action: Crossbow True Strike agents closest Kuo-Toa not dead after sprites move. Hit: 26 Damage: 10 Radiant
BA: Healing Word from sanctuary blessing.(Heal Avery: 9 HP)
Move: 5 feet North and 20 feet east
Syllen moves the spirits 5 feet south so two of the Kuo-Toa need to make Dex Save from ending their turn next to the spirits and the other 2 will have to make the save when the spirits move. After that the spirits will move 20 feet North so the Priest needs to make the Dex Save also. Lastly moving 5 feet south so that the spirits end their turn 15 feet from the priest.
All Kuo-Toa not affected by hypnotic pattern need to make DC 15 Dex Save or take 7 slashing damage
Have you adjusted his hit points or do I need to do them?
Avery continues his attack on the same target: Attack: 10 Damage: 14; Attack: 17 Damage: 14
