Coriana replies to Khessa, "I was looking to acquire a different weapon at the bazaar, I'm sure we could pick up some handkerchiefs or other fabric to make protective masks out of there as well. And now I don't feel as selfish for wanting to go out of our way just to buy a flamin' scimitar."

Theldrin dismisses Dusk back to his pocket dimension, gets his gear together and joins the others for breakfast at the bar. Looking refreshed from a good night's sleep, he nods agreeably with a smile at the prospect of visiting the bazaar. "Ah, that's a good idea to look for handkerchiefs."
Xanrym joins the others for breakfast. His ankle feels better this "morning," but he looks tired. He says, 'It's hard to feel awake when there's no sunrise not even a sky in this place."
Xanrym relates the flight that they saw in the alley the previous night. He shares everything that he heard and saw when he followed the Inheritors as they left to return to The Riddle.
After the group has breakfast, he's ready to head to the market. He says something about getting some rope to replace the ropes they left tied off at the Earth Node and at the entrance to The Rift. But, really, Xanrym is just happy to delay their trip onto the Sullen Sea a little longer.
Xanrym doesn't share the real reason he slept poorly and feels tired today. He kept waking up from confused nightmares throughout the night (e.g., "waking up" in his room at their bastion because fish-faced people were breaking in, led by Garath, the leader of the naga cult). Or the dreams -- barely remembered -- about floating in deep, lightless waters. Now that he's awake, he finds it disturbing that those dreams felt pleasantly relaxing while he was in the dream. Like he was "at home" and safe in the cold, dark water.
"Yes, I understand." Khessa's blue eyes search Xanrym's. "It was the same for me, during the first days of 'drow hospitality,' which changed my life forever. But after a while," she shrugs, "you get used to it." ('Especially when you have far worse problems to worry about' she thinks privately.)
When Coriana mentions the bazaar, the blonde arcane warrior approves, laughing and patting her on the shoulder: "Right, good idea! And woe betide anyone who tries to stop us women from doing a little shopping!"
Theldrin grins, "I must admit I'm very curious to see what the markets will look like in a city such as this..." he takes a sip of tea, then adds, "the Osgard family has merchant connections in many regions, but never ventured into Underdark commerce as far as I know."
You head to East Row, which is an active marketplace. The wide road is choked with carts, booths, and tents, around which swarm sellers hawking their wares. Myriad items are available here, including riding lizards, sweet meats, buoyant fossilized mushroom fibers, silver, pelts, crystals, vellum and pens, weaponry, and more. The assortment of buyers varies equally, and you see a few stooped giants, dozens of drow, duergar, grimlocks, and even a few stranger creatures. Dancers, magicians, stalactite throwers, fire-eaters, puppeteers, and tattooists peddle their talents to any and all commers beneath the green light of hundreds of hanging lanterns. The hard eyes of armored bodyguards and mercenaries warn would-be robbers.
As you a approach, a few duegar merchants offer you rat kabobs and mushroom sandwiches. What kind of items were you looking for amongst the hustle and bustle of the Bazaar?
As the group eats breakfast Syllen will ask the cosmos of their world for protection along the journey.(Everyone receives 9 temp HP) If Coriana mentions wanting two scimitars but obviously not having enough gold, Syllen will offer to help pay for it.
Well the group is at the bazaar Syllen focuses on listening to the people in the area to gain any useful information from anyone he can understand.
Theldrin is also interested in something like a handkerchief to help protect the face from the spores. If Coriana still needs help with funds he will offer to pitch in as well.
What kind of items were you looking for amongst the hustle and bustle of the Bazaar?
Before they enter the market, Xanrym will find a spot where he can cast Comprehend Languages as a ritual, assuming that Undercommon may be the common language among those in Pedestal.
Since the Company left 5 (I think) of our ropes affixed to pitons on the way down to the Earth Node, Xanrym will look for rope. Even better if he can find something that's lighter and packs easier than hemp rope! He'll buy a spare rope for himself, and then he'll offer to pick up some rope for others who had to leave theirs behind earlier. ("You can never have too much rope!")
Other than that, Xanrym has nothing that he needs to buy today. He's more interested in following the others and taking in the sights and sounds of a market in the Underdark. He looks, especially, to see whether there are any performers. He's curious to hear what sort of songs or poems or even short plays are popular with the denizens of the Underdark. (And, if he's lucky, maybe he'll pick up some clues about the city's history or hints and rumors about the current state of things in Pedestal.)
I'll this of Syllen and Xanrym, what kind of information are you looking for precisely? Because with that roll you can find some interesting information, but not all of it.
As for everyone looking around for shopping, the bazaar is full of hucksters, particularly interested in you all because of your alien nature. You are offered handkerchiefs and weapons, but at incredibly high prices. So much so that it would be dangerous to accept, thus declaring yourselves as ignorant. The strange smells and sounds of the Bazaar encircle you and just when it seems like it's building to a climax you hear a familiar voice. "Ahh, so you found your way here after all? I'm glad you did, because I new our business wasn't done friends." Bruthwol Coalhauler comes jangling into the middle of the Bazaar with his cart, jumping down from the driver's seat and shaking your hands in a strange greeting. "Please don't tell me you were going to buy from someone else here? They're all here solely to peddle their low quality trash. Tell me what you need and I will procure it, at a fair price!" He glares around the Bazaar, and the other merchants back away. Bruthwol get's to work setting up his tent in the Bazaar as you list your requirements.
You can buy whatever you want from the PHB from Bruthwol. Any magic items or things more expensive than 3000gp, and you may need to perform some extra service or wait a while.
Syllen would focus on rumors or information that would help the group avoid dangerous situations. Also Syllen would attempt to understand the current level of hostility between the three groups that are trying to control the city.
Theldrin greets Bruthwol warmly and will happily purchase anything he has that could function as a face covering, whether a handkerchief or similar. (OOC: not sure what that costs)
Coriana is after a pair of scimitars, she needs a loan of 15 gold to purchase them, she borrows that from Syllen.
After purchasing the pair, Coriana summons her pact blade, and rips it in two, suffusing its energies into the two smaller blades. She then dismisses them and summons them with a flourish.

I'll this of Syllen and Xanrym, what kind of information are you looking for precisely? Because with that roll you can find some interesting information, but not all of it.
Xanrym isn't really interrogating anyone, so it just depends on what he hears in just walking around the bazaar. But if he hears someone who seems to be knowledgeable, he's certainly willing to offer a few coins to get some more details out of them.
Xanrym is most interested in old histories, forgotten magic, and mysteries. He'd probably be most attracted to anything he hears about one of these two topics:
Rikaryon's Isle - Their most immediate concern. Any tale or legends or warnings about the isle or the fungus that grows there.
The Plague - Xanrym is still concerned about the "plague" in Pedestal. He like to learn whatever he can about it. Either the history / origins of Plagueburst or the nature / dangers of the Plaguelost. The plague seems like it would be an ever-present in Pedestal, and perhaps the common knowledge (or just urban legends) about it must have made it into songs or poems or even children's puppet shows by now.
Syllen's investigations reveal that while The Riddle is the most dangerous part of the city, everyone in Pedestal is on the lookout for the Assassin's guild. Apparently, if you drop a name into a dropbox on Skull Avenue. The guild will send operatives to meet with potential clients within a couple days. The rumor on the street is that the Assassin's Guild and House Dusklorn have a ceasefire at the moment. Xanrym doesn't find much on Rikaryon's Isle, other than no one goes there because of the spores. However, he does find out a little of the Plagueburst, which apparently doesn't pose an existential risk to the city at the moment. Despite the original blast being catastrophic, the lingering effects dissipated quickly, and only people stupid enough to visit the site suffer any harmful effects now.
Bruthwol quickly get's Coriana's Scimitar's for the right price, a fine set of Drow design. He throws in Khessa's handkerchiefs for free.
Does anyone have anything else to do? Or is it to the docks to get to the Isle now?
Coriana replies to Khessa, "I was looking to acquire a different weapon at the bazaar, I'm sure we could pick up some handkerchiefs or other fabric to make protective masks out of there as well. And now I don't feel as selfish for wanting to go out of our way just to buy a flamin' scimitar."

Khessa is looking for handkerchiefs to protect the face - or at least nose and mouth - from the spores of the island.
Coriana was obviously seen (while in the safety of the inn) carefully counting out her coins before the trip to the bazaar.
Coriana is seeking out a pair of matched scimitars, or if she can't afford that (she can't at PHB prices) or at least a single.
