(OOC: lol, we have a nat 20 and a nat 1 among us…looks like Darbakh will just be following everyone else’s lead. Also, I still can’t access the map; I keep getting the “your DM isn’t in session” message.)

I don’t think I can run the map from mobile. I’ll start it up tonight. If it timed out.

“Undead? Haunted cemetery? That is what clerics live for. Tymora wants the dead to stay dead so let’s return them to their correct state!” Smudge seems excited about this encounter. “I have a ranged spell that can hit them now and various ways to turn undead if they get close.”
”I know these beings!” exclaims Smudge but he almost falls over himself in enthusiasm for his book learning being applied in the real world. “Yes, more notes and a guidebook - that is what we will do!”
option a: stay where we are. Dabrakh and I cast our range cantrips. At this range we will eventually kill them. thier shot (with short bow) as our crossbow attacks are at disadvantage. Focus on the three skeletons first to remove their distance firepower. When skeletons dead we advance to allow our crossbows to also be normal to hit (Ie 80). May no time does Ral rage and run into attack enemy with melee weapons. My assumption is he can use a crossbow. As it’s a simple weapon. Javelin isn’t going to be at normal until around 30 feet while not as much fun it lowers the need to heal which we will likely need on the later encounters
Option b. We slowly move up to allow crossbows to be at normal. However this then give skeletons normal attacks. Opt a is still better
if battlefield changes we adjust Possibly the skeletons and mummy will move fwd us which will put crossbows into range quickly
“The sooner they are dead, the sooner the workd will be in order!” squeaks Smudge. although he wouldn’t mind smiting them himself, he is clearly for option A since dead is the desired goal regardless of how it is dealt.
Ic: Ral you have shown us you are a brave warrior. This monster ahead its magic has ability prevent us from healing. So if possible we should take it at range. do you have the ability to attack with a crossbow and show that you are both a brave warrior and also a wise one who will use tractical advantage ?

Ral says, "I.....well....I suppose I can fight with a crossbow if we want to try that."
Ral takes a Heavy Crossbow +1 with 19 +1 bolts if offered.

How about as we finish up I cast dancing lights about 50 feet in front of us in the shape of a glowing vaguely humanoid form and see if that by chance distracts these guys since they have such a low int if lucky the lights take an attack or two

We may need to pace ourselves so we can also deal with their master. Likely (s)he is lurking around here somewhere pulling these 4’s strings.
How about this

I hand him the crossbow. I think you’ll need to split bolts with smudge.

Smudge happily passes over 14 of the magical bolts. “You should put these to better use then me. Fire at will!”
Smudge also touches his emblem of Tymora and prays quietly for extra guidance for Ral.
