(ooc: are both creatures now on the same level/plateau? and how far apart are they from each other... and us?)
(ooc: also, can the one I was hidden from when it was on another level now see me clearly that it's on the same level? or am I still considered hidden from it?)

<Yeah, ive been thinking if i want to keep soong thjs afyer getting out if it fir a while when i was travelling. I have 2 campaigns and I think this one is close enough to the end that i just want to run it through as usual. Ive also been pondering how i could include the iriginal wnding for 5e because the designers took it out. It really had no parallel mechanic in 5e, so probably im just going to throw it out (like theu did) and replace it with somwthing else. My other campaign i think im goong to run differently, with most combat narrative instead of mechanical, the exception being the boss fights, of whicj the remainimg campaign will.essentially be a string of with onky exploration between. A little bit inspired by shadow of the collossus. If yiure only in this campaign, that bit foesnt effevt you, but as ive been away fir so long, im assuming i will see a change to the roster of active players, and when this one wraps, maybe some of these players will go there, so i tho8gbt id just put it all here.
So anyway, you were all fighting these two umber hulks. They're just monsters. Theyre mean, theyre territoeial. Its weird theres two of them, but this module favors combat math over monster ecology, so thats where we are. Also, the fight with them started in tealt8me like a month ago and im sure nobody wants to keep fighr8ng them for another week. With thst in mind, im declaring youve defeated them. Ill drop some loot here.>
The emergent burrower finds itself on the receiving end of a magically ehhanced strike and when it moves to attack it stumbles and collapses to the geound. The other hulk, reeling feom the impact it took, swings its massive claws
Koselig will move into a position where he doesn't include any of his allies in the aoe of his spell and then cast Tasha's Caustic Brew at the Hulk.
DC 16 DEX save or take 9 acid damage from a stream of acid emanating from Kos in a line 30 feet long and 5 feet wide. It will cover the Hulk in acid and continue to deal the acid damage at the start of each of it's turn's until it takes an action to scape or wash the acid off.
"Feel the burn you freaking monster!"
(ooc: the Hulk only takes the damage at the beginning of it's turn.)

The duo of Sparhawk and Kos bash and splash the remainimg hulk, nearly destroying the creature. As it reprouos and atarts to advance roward the gnome, its carapace begins to melt as if soused with acetone, rapidly reducing the massive brute to a twitching pile of writhing gooey viscera and bits of sharp exoskeleton. Something lies within the molten offal.
The faint glow that drew your eye intensifies as you roll the round object along with the stick, revealing a shiny, irridescent luster, emitting prismatically varied light.
(ooc: ty for the map, it looks like there are two ways going South and one going North... which way did we come in from?)

Moving as needed, (probably drawing some aoo) the hulk slashes
Tess 19
Sparhawk 23 and
Trisk 23

(1 hulk left. players are up)
*correction: Koselig, not Trisk.
Sparhawk attacks the Hulk, using his longsword: Precision attack: 24 to hit, 9 damage., 20 to hit, 9 damage.
Koselig will move into a position where he doesn't include any of his allies in the aoe of his spell and then cast Tasha's Caustic Brew at the Hulk.

The cavern is still. Where do you want to go?
Sparhawk investigates the item with using a 10 ft pole.
The faint glow that drew your eye intensifies as you roll the round object along with the stick, revealing a shiny, irridescent luster, emitting prismatically varied light.
<its a pearl of power>
So, where to?
(OOC: Do we have a map of the area. Not sure what our options are?)
"The pearl could certainly come in useful for any of us. Tess, why don't you take this for now."
(ooc: ty for the map, it looks like there are two ways going South and one going North... which way did we come in from?)
Tess will hold the pearl of power for now.
I think we came in from the east. Shall we go south west?
“Yes let’s try east. Looks like we have two options. Let’s start there (east passage on west of map
"North it is!"
Kos runs off in that direction using his action to Dash and scout ahead 60 feet.
