As you move along the inch-thick zurkhwood platform from the basket, you pass three caves. The first two of which house more drow soldiers, some if whom sit within, resting in a meditative trance. The thurd cave js larger, having four circular tables carved from zurkhwood, each surrounded by five chairs. 4 drow sit rolling dice. 1 quaggoth attend the drow, cleaning tables, serving drinks and so on.
The drow warrior who met you at the top of the stairs summons two more warriors to join him as he passes their barracks, following you.
A steep rope bridge leads from the walkway ledge to the uppermost level of the largest hanging tower, called the priestess's tower. The floor of this circular chamber is covered by dark silken mats with a pale web-strand pattern woven through them in silvery thread. In the middle of the chamber (at the center of the web) stands a broad pedestal carved from zurkhwood, with a 10-foot-high sculpted spider at its head. The carving is so lifelike that, on first seeing it, Tess mistakes it for a real spider.
This place is a shrine to Lolth, the drow's spider goddess, and also serves as quarters for Asha, the junior priestess. She tends the shrine, overseeing routine rituals and offerings to Lolth.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The altar is flanked by a pair of heavy silver candlesticks worth 25 gp each. They hold thick black unlit candles.
Asha is in the room alone, resting. The back half of the chamber, behind the altar, is piled with a semicircle of pillows and cushions. The scarred drow warrior commands you to halt at the entrance. Peering in to find her alone, he calls out, respectfully, "Priestess Asha, the guards intercepted some outsiders. Nadal indicated they were to be brought to the tower immediately. He comes now."
The drow you met at the floor of the cave ha e taken the basket up to join you and march along tje platform. The leader of that group, Nadal, approaches the tower. "Priestess, with permission." He states
"Enter," comes the reply from Asha.
You watch ad the deow warrior passes you, joining the Priestess. "They claim to have fled from the kuo-toa city. They say they fish people have summoned something. They claim it is Demogorgon. The matter is clear, the Priestess must be told of this at once."
He waits for her early. "Demogorgon?" she asks, rhetorically, "that is serious." To tje scarred drow, she calls, "Bring them in, Jorlan."
"Aye, Priestess," he calls back.
"Move," he barks at you, marshaling you forward towoard the Priestess.
Sparhawk nods to Jorlan with the respect of a fellow warrior. He enters and bows with genuine respect, but says nothing. Sparhawk, although he often acts for the greater good, is of neutral alignment, and has found those of good can cause as much harm to the world in their zealous nature as those of evil. He admires the honor and good faith these people have shown him and his friends. He also goes down on one knee, as to be less physically imposing. (difficult to do for a 6-foot-tall man wearing plate mail.)
Kos bows his head quickly, not wanting any gesture to be misunderstood, and remains silent so as not to offend anyone.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
The priestess, Asha, rises from her resting position to receive the group. "You claim you have seen the demon lord Demogorgon, here in the Underdark? If this is true, then tell me of his manner, that I may better plan our response. If he has made an alliance in our world, we must know of it's nature. He could not have left the Abyss unaided."
"Should we ask.." Says the guard who first net you (not Jorlan with the scars)
"Silence." The priestess interrupts, "I will ask the questions."
Returning her attention to the group, she adds, "Now, speak."
"Greetings priestess and thank you for receiving us. I am called Captain Sparhawk. We came upon Kuo-toa village and were approached by Ploopploopeen, and told the city was divided. Bloppblippodd and their followers on one side, Leemooggoogoon and what they called the deep father's followers on the other. Apparently the deep father's followers including the priests own kin, were trying to summon something and needed sacrifices. They were killing their own people."
Well, out sprang this massive creature from the water, with two heads, long tentacles, and unimaginable powers. We had no choice but to flee or we would have all been killed. It destroyed our boat and we scattered, finding ourselves on your shores. The creature then turned its attention back on the Kuo-toa people and their homes."
"If you could be so kind as to give us directions to the surface we can be one less worry for you to trouble with."
Kos feels he should speak when she directs him to.

"Fish summoned the demon lord? Unexpected. There will be ripples felt soon enough. What they might be, time will tell." She seems t9 be speaking more for her own benefit than that of anyone in attendance. "Guards," she commands, "remand them to quarters, out of sight for now. Stay yijr tongues and speak nothing of what you have heard. If anyone else has heard this, you will find them and await the question, to which you will feign ignorance. I will summon you should the need arise. You are dismissed."
"Aye, Priestess," comes the speedy reply from both drow warriors. "This way," intones the younger warrior, direction you back out of the temple.

Wysaleth bows slightly in respect as he puts a fist on his chest. He listens carefully to the woman, wonderinf if she will try to use them against the new danger that is demogorgon. He puts two hands on his back, following them. It was a long, stressful day. He needed to rest.
Baron shakes some of the water out of his 'mane' of tentacles around his neck. "If you're wise, you'll leave us alone. We are simply trying to get back to the caverns above." He looks at his companions, "Right?"
Found it.
The drow warriors escort you along the walkway, over two bridges spanning above the waterfall, the pair meeting at a guard tower where four more drow warriors stand watch.
At the end of the second bridge is another platform with a guard tower to the north and two caves. The sounds and smells co.ing from the farther cave make it clear this one us home to several quaggoths. The warriors direct you to the other cave.
The younger drow warrior unlocks the gate at the mouth of the small cave. Five figures dwell within: an orc, a derro, a dwarf and two deep gnomes. The guards lock the gate behind you once you're inside.
"I guess they don't want us to leave." Sparhawk looks at the guard and notes the keys used, who has them and where he keeps them. (Please describe the gate, lock, etc) "Greetings friends, Sparhawk smiles and says to the others within. They call me Captain Sparhawk."

Do you go willingly?
“Agreed.”
Sparhawk rises and follows the guard. “Come my friends.”
(Ooc: Sparhawk needs a long rest)
Kos follows along with the rest of the group.
