The dark-haired young man struggles to resist the necrotic energies, making him lose concentration on his hex. "Is that the best you've got?" He says defiantly as he moves back a strand of dark hair. "Not much of a champion, are you? And here I thought you would be something to remember at least." He adds with a scoff, unleashing another greenish beam of eldritch crackling force from his outstretched hand.

Having neither Khessa's training nor Ketangu's finesse, Kit resorts to the tried and true method of lifting up the sharp, heavy thing and then helping gravity deliver it to the soft, fleshy thing...

Erven pulls his bow back far and targets the undead monstrosity, feeling and seeing its presence in the dark.  Using his sharpshooter skill, he targets the head of the thing, aiming to shoot it clean off.  His hunter’s mark helps to guide the arrow to the target.  “Gonna burn your body in front of those cultists when we finish….”

Longbow (at -5 to hit, for a gain in +10 damage due to Sharpshooter) : 18 to hit, for 22 points of piercing damage.  

Hunter’s Mark : For an additional 3 points of damage.  

Movement : He sticks to dark, staying in the shadows.

Lance would also have made one of the attacks at disadvantage too.

Tabitha, still enraged after the "Curiosity killed the cat" phrase continues her relentless assault. 24 to hit, 8 damage with Lance taking another headbutt. 17 to hit, 3 damage. "Curiosity didn't kill the cat! It saved it. Which also in turn, leads to the cat killing you." 

"...And from this it can be logically deduced that you are nothing more than a filthy rat!" Khessa completes Tabby's sentence, taunting Mr Stiched.

Ketangu once again slithers forward, delivering a grievous blow with his spear followed up by two whipping tentacle attacks. He then once again dances about, moving behind his tougher companions.

Khessa responds to the attack, unleashing a yell of adrenaline as she swings her heavy blade twice. The first strike barely hits, but deals a gash to the Champion's arm. her second strike, however, strikes straight into the gut of the champion, delivering a vital wound. 

Jack, stumbling back, watches as the Champion absorbs part of his soul, feeding off his life energy. No way he's letting this oaf kill him. He raises his hand, his eyes glowing bright, and a bolt of fey energy shoots from his palm. But, the power he summons is too strong, and he cannot control it as his magic veers off into a wall, destroying some more runes.

Kit, returning to the basics, lifts her blade to strike, and brings it down with deadly accuracy, coordinating her efforts with Erven's deadly arrows, which he rains down from the shadows at the Champion, causing the Champion to stagger back from the dual assault.

Then, Tabitha charges in on top of Lance, and leaps. She jumps up, sending her mace into the chin of the Champion, uppercutting it with her weapon. As it stumbles back, Lance takes the opportunity to attack it in the shins, sending it down to one knee. 

The Champion looks at the group with murderous hate in its dark eyes, the many wounds on its body leaking some sort of vile, gooey substance which constitutes its blood. it snarls, and slowly rises to its feet. It stares at each and every one of you, focusing it's gaze deep into your soul. It glares with violent fury, its eyes flaring. The flames around its pupils grow larger and larger, and it rears back its claw, ready to take out the heroes which have intruded upon its plans.

Mud, your turn to go!

The Champion has taken... (oh my god) 194 damage! Current status effects are Erven's Hunter's Mark. Geez.

Mud, continuing to channel his power into the crackling bolt of lightning, once again sends a surge of electricity pulsing through his fingers, striking the Champion once again. This tempestuous power swirls around him, a gust of air lifting him up into the air as he floats in the air to the left, fangs gritted in concentration, eyes crackling with energy.

Mud will continue concentrating on Witch Bolt and using Tempestous Magic to fly 10FT

Kevori's Turn!

Kevori, her rage almost blinding, shoots another arrow at the Champion. This thing is part of that vile cult, and she intends to take. it. down.

Champion's Turn!

The Champion, enraged, howls, and the flames around its eyes flare, cascading off of the Champion's face in a torrent of flame. The fires rush towards the group, threatening to burn them with dark flame.

I need Khessa, Kit, Tabitha, and Lance to make DC 14 DEX saves. On a fail, you take 16 Fire damage. On a success you take half damage.

As the flames of death rush towards the party, the Champion swings its long clawed arms in an overhand arc, bringing the weight and sharp claws down on Tabitha and Lance as they attempt to dodge out of the way of the fire 

The Champion makes 2 Claw [Tooltip Not Found]

Ketangu rush forward and attacks the Champion again easily squeezing between his companions.

He then rushes back behind Khessa not provoking an opportunity attack.

Oops, you are right. I'm full of mistakes recently, aren't I? In that case, ignore the hit roll and the Champion automatically takes the damage I rolled.

Khessa, as the flames are about to engulf her, instinctively detaches her left hand from the hilt of her Greatsword and quickly moves her fingers in a mysterious gesture... following which the fire is partially absorbed into the imposing blade, leaving the heroine with superficial burns, but substantially still perfectly able to keep fighting.

And now that the Greatsword is flaming with the absorbed power, the blonde arcane warrior, inspired by Kit, brings both hands back to the hilt and delivers yet another slash, this time ascending, to the inner thigh of the tenacious opponent.
