Adric is going to head for the staircase.

Adric, you find the door easily enough, pulling it open to reveal a narrow passageway with wooden stairs spiraling downward. You can't see much further than about five feet in front of you because of the cobwebs here.
Additionally, as soon as Adric opens the door to the stairway, the magical powers of Barovia seem to flood your senses somehow, revealing new information to all of you!
(OOC: Congratulations on reaching Level 2! Everyone go ahead and level yourselves up to level 2. For HP, I play that you roll for your HP, but take the higher result of your roll vs. class minimum. For example, if you are a Fighter (with a D10 hit die), you would roll 1d10 and take either your roll or 6, whichever is higher. Then add your con modifier. You immediately learn all new spells and abilities that this advancement gives you. The only thing that doesn't "reset" are your spell slots/abilities/current HP. Your current and max HP both increase by your new level. This means if you are at 8/10 and gain 6, you would end up at 14/16).
With a wail, the ghostly Thorn reappears in the bedroom, crying misty tears. "I'm sorry ma'am! Really! I just don't want to be alone anymore." he says, sniffling.
Gralwynn, the overwhelming fear fades in the moments after Thorn leaves your body.
Gralwynn rips the bandages from her face, and stares at him, her rage slowly cooling. "See that it does not happen again, you might get trapped up there." She says, tapping the side of her skull slowly.
"And Creak. Wrong Doll, they each had a different one." She adds, placing the doll next to the skeleton of the girl"
(OoC: at work, 2 min of break left, do lvl up stuff when i get out at 6)
Now that Rynna is officially a diviner, I'll roll for Portent. Err, I assume this is covered by abilities? Or do you want me to wait for next long rest?
Rynna feels her eyes burn as the dolls were tucked into the children's arms. Those poor little mites. How long had they been alone and stuck in this house? She couldn't blame them for latching on to the first friendly face but the battlefield was no place for a child. It was good they saw sense and had ended their possession.
(In terms of your druid forms, I'm pretty forgiving. Most anything would be possible, especially as an elf, you've got a LONG time to have seen animals. If there's anything you would like, let me know and if I have serious issue with it, we'll square it up then.)
(OoC: I was looking at the list. Considering my character "starts" after the Rat Incident, She's lived in the sewers, slums, and dangerous back alleys of cities, so she's seen transport-type beasts of burden, scavengers, vermin, dog fights, black market animals (exotic and/or dangerous, but small, dangerous only due to poison glands, odd traits, or a dangerous reproductive cycle ((ie; those ship things from kotor)), but I doubt she's seen a Hawk or Bear or something. I'll link a list in the OoC chat, and we can start picking stuff off the list.)
Gralwynn takes the time to FINALLY go back downstairs, take the rest of the silverware, the salt, the wax, and the seal, grabbing more bags as necessary.

Strength check to remove Gralwynn from my path: 21
Hit Die roll for level up: 6
Gralwynn isn't on top of Finlan, it's more like she's next to him, but is grabbing by the face as he tried to leave, kinda like this:
HP: 5
(OoC: so aside from the obvious transformations (rat, spider, horse) what would I already know?)

Ugh, I can not believe we're doing this! Finlan says as he moves to the basement door.
“Don’t have much of a choice- Do or die- Preferably the latter.”
