Because of travel I won't be (realistically) able to post until Tuesday. If needing to move things along, Iólinder will keep using word of radiance on the goblins. If the mini giant comes in range and the goblins are dead, he can move up to it and use Inflict Wounds. However, should anyone be in trouble, healing word/shield of faith takes precedent with crossbow ranged attacks on the giant.
"If they think we have the artifact then they either haven't found it yet... or someone else beat us all to the punch."
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Iólinder, again engulfed in tiny goblins with scimitars emits his holy radiance, and they all fall to the ground, unable to resist the spell in their weakened state (Swarm 2 dead)
Zarbyn his the little big guy with more damage, he yells curse words at them.
---->Lev, Amdaeng, Paevira are up again. Both swarms are down, only the very injured little hill giant remains. He is in the thin corridor between the two larger chambers so only one person could engage him in hand to hand.
Lev rushes forward towards the little giant, thrusting with his glaive and attempting to stay 10ft away from his enemy.
To hit: 22
Damage: 11
So they don't have the artifact? Brilliant. Lev doesn't feel the need to say anything during battle, though part of him wonders if he should keep this giant alive for questioning or not...
Amdaeng almost calls out to Lev to watch out for shrink-traps but they are already engaged with the tiny giant. She waits and watches unwilling to risk throwing a blade into melee.
And with a heave of his glaive, the weakened giant falls. (Combat over)
The first group of tiny goblins suddenly grows to full size. Shortly after, the second.
Finally, the tiny giant grows to his full size, effectively blocking most of the corridor. (You'll need several people to pull him out of the area so you can pass freely. As with the last group, these goblins also have the Mark of the Cult of the Dragon King on their armor.
Ahead in the unexplored chamber, you see an open stone chest, and Lev hears a sort of whimpering/ barking animal sound.
"Hopefully the... 'shrink-trap,' if that's what we're calling it, has been expended and is a one-time thing only."
Zarbyn looks ahead to the chamber where the opened stone chest lies. I wonder if anything else was here besides the artifact.
"The giant... or mini-giant if you will, happened to blurt out during the fight that he would take the artifact back from us or something to that effect, which means they didn't find it here. And since we got here after them that would suggest someone else got here first."
"If this group was with the dragon cult, which is evidenced by their markings, then it was most likely the snow witch Shareella who arrived first and grabbed the artifact. Shareella or her minions probably left those newer traps, the bear traps and such."
Going over to help the others move the giant out of the way, "We should double check and search anyway, they may of missed something... or it could even be possible that Shareella didn't get here first and the giant just couldn't find the artifact."

"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
You enter the main chamber. Surrounded by water on three sides, you see a large painted wall. (It is the snake demon Myurr.)
Vydar has a chilling feeling.
In front of the painted block wall, are some silvery blue mushrooms.
The chest is made of stone and build into the floor. It is approximately 4 feet long. The huge lid has been taken off and likely weights several hundred pounds. There is a black glyph that appears to have been triggered with the lid was opened. Inside of the chest is a piece of paper on the bottom.
(Some perception and arcana, religion, etc. checks.)
Amdaeng catches something moving to the right of the chest in a small opening, and taking a closer looks sees a tiny black bear (Brutus). It is the size of a house cat, and lies very still, trying to hide. It knows your there, but like a baby fawn or bear, hides as best it can.
(Giant and goblins are now full size, and can be searched).
Lev looks down at the giant, stepping backwards as it grows back to its regular size. He frowns upon hearing the whimpering, "Perhaps that is the creature this giant threatened to feed us to."
He gestures towards the sound, brow farrowing deeper when he realizes that the giant is blocking the path. He sighs, and moves towards the body again assuming the others will come help.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Amdaeng reaches into her pocket and pulls out some rather worse for wear jerky and offers it to the small creature, cognizant that it was likely much larger not too long ago......but also aware it likely was not well treated by the goblins and giant and she wondered if its sibling was the one killed by the earlier trap....
The little bear, not a cub but very very small smells the jerky, then smells Amdaeng. Something about her approach, her scent, or her spirit calms her. She gently grabs the jerky. But before she starts to eat, her eyes grow large and she falls over, beginning to convulse violently as the shrink curse begins to wear off. Something is wrong
(Someone roll medicine or wisdom to assess the bears condition)
Rolled a 10 for concentration check
William Brackwater: Human Fighter - The Windward Isles
Tyrgram, the Butterfly Knight: Dwarf Warlock - Secret of Greenwold
Iòlinder Corrach: Half Elf War Cleric - Allansia Adventure
Valerius Sergius Publius: Dhampir Paladin - Vae Victus
Iólinder has no trouble keeping his spell going.
(I'm going to Roll for Paevira, PC can change if you want, just to keep things going this weekend)
Paevira takes careful aim with her crossbow at swarm 2 and uses sneak attack for additional damage: 21 to hit, 11 damage.
The swarm again gets hit, as multiple tiny goblins fall. However, it still stands, the tiny buggers seem quite resistant to most damage.
The depleted swarm (2) attacks Iolinder, taking offense to his holy magic. However, their tiny weapons don't penetrate his armor.
"Osmond three teeth will crush you with rock!"
The giant picks up a large rock and tosses it, hitting Lev (17 to hit with disadvantage) for 5 damage. Then he moves forward into the narrow corridor.

(Sounds good)
With goblin horde 1 down, Vydar directs his attention to the tiny giant.
He casts Fire bolt.
To hit: 18
Damage; 3
------->Zarbyn, then Iólinder (word of radiance)
With the small ugly creature moving into the corridor, it provides easy targeting for Vydars fiery spell.
Zarbyn casts an Eldritch Blast at the mini-me giant.
Attack: 23 Damage: 5 force damage.

Athletics: 12
It takes three of you to move the giant. He easily weighs 300 pounds but you drag him out of the way.
