Recognizing the creature from a recurring dream, Vasha will remain still until the creature either moves past him to pursue Nyli or it attempts to retreat, at which point he will make an attack of opportunity as it leaves his reach.
As Dunkin is following Chase and John, moving East towards the North entrance, he hears a strange, guttural shout. He skids to a halt just outside the North entrance, and stoops to pick up a stone. He readies his sling.
Before I continue narrating, I want to clarify the first turn of combat.
Having gotten a higher initiative score, the party is going first. I assume that anyone who posted their intended actions will be doing those unless I hear otherwise. That just leaves Chase as the only one who didn't jump the gun. Once I get a post of Chase's Round 1 actions, if any, I'll post for the monsters.
Vasha's attack of opportunity is not possible using his "Round 0" reaction because the Quaggoth won't move until after Vasha's first turn. @Backstabitha, you can use the same rolls if Vasha makes an attack of opportunity on the Quaggoth's turn.
Doldek and Vasha can see the Quaggoth from where they are currently hiding, so their History checks are valid.
Party Round 1:
Nyli: attack (shortbow) --> miss; move 25 ft. north
Chase:
Vasha: remain hidden (stealth 14)
John: move just past the canvas screen; attack (heavy crossbow) --> miss
Dunkin: cast Magic Stone; ready action (magic stone sling attack)
Nyli's arrow does little to slow down the Quaggoth. It chases after her relentlessly, even as Vasha cuts its side and its white fur turns red with blood. It doesn't notice a second gnome hiding behind some crates.
John and Dunkin see Nyli run out from behind the canvas screen, followed closely by this large monster. Having heard its strange shout, their weapons are ready and they both attack. Nearby, Chase gets a wider view of things.
Monsters:
Quaggoth A (Quaggoth) 45/54 HP: Dash; move 35 ft. to reach Nyli
It triggers an attack of opportunity from Vasha and Doldek. I assume Vasha made his.
I assume it triggers Dunkin's readied Magic Stone sling attack when it comes into Dunkin's view
As the quaggoth exits the tower hot on Nyli’s heels, Dunkin looses his initial sling volley (22 to hit; 6 damage). Hearing Chase’s blessing, he stoops to pick up another stone, and quickly slings another stone at the beast (Nat20; 12 damage).
The quaggoth chases Nyli past the canvas screen and is suddenly stopped by a hail of projectiles. Guided by Chase's divine magic, one of Dunkin's magic stones gets it right in the eye. It takes a tremendous beating all around, but it still stands. Indeed, despite its wounds, the quaggoth's spirits seem to be rising still, as its pained grimace twists into a ghoulish grin.
In a murderous frenzy, it swipes its claws first at the one stabbing it in the back, giving Vasha a deep scrape. It then turns back to the halfling whose pebbles hurt more than pebbles should. It slams Dunkin's head down into the rubble at the base of the castle wall.
In between heavy panting, it howls with glee in Undercommon, "Who's dying next?"
Claw (w/ Wounded Fury) Dunkin --> 25 to hit (crit) for 25 damage
Claw (w/ Wounded Fury) Vasha --> 23 to hit for 17 damage
OOC:
One area where I don't care as much about the rules is object interactions during combat. As long as what your character is doing does not require juggling, it should be fine to do it all in one object interaction.
As his stones smash into the creature, Dunkin has a minute to smile grimly before a tornado of fur, claws, and blood overwhelms him. The pain is intense, but brief, and then all goes dark.
John finishes his reequip by drawing his sword steps forward to stab the Quaggoth in its back then spins around and shoots it in the head with his hand bow
Sword 20 to hit 9 damage
BA hand bow 16 to hit 9 damage.

Nyli's first action will be to lose an arrow at the Quaggoth and then sprint straight north, hopefully drawing it after her, past Vasha.

Party Round 1:
Monsters:
Map:
My previous map was incorrect; the Quaggoth is 10 ft. from the curtain, not adjacent to it.
The blue line represents Nyli's movement. As a preview, the green line represents the Quaggoth's planned movement on its turn. It has not moved yet.
Chiro is flying around somewhere near Chase.
Chase hustles 25’ behind Nyli and assumes a defensive stance (dodge).

It's now the party's turn again.
Nyli:
Action: Move 10' north, turn and shoot an arrow.

Attack 24 (Advantage from Stealth)
Damage 4 fire
Chase casts Bless on Nyli Dunkin' and Vasha, then with Voice of Authority, "Now Dunkin sling again!" granting a reaction weapon attack.
John shoots his heavy crossbow into the back of the Quaggoth. Then he puts his bow on his back.
Action: attack 18 to hit 4 damage
Bonus action put away bow.
If you allow I'll pull out my hand bow as an item interaction
Vasha follows close behind the creature, making another slash.
Attack+Bless 15, for 11 slashing damage
Picking up yet another stone, and with Chase’s blessing, Dunkin’s sling whines as he releases another projectile.
OOC:
Bonus action/Voice of Authority
Magic Stone to hit 12+4 with Blessed = 16
Damage 6
