Vesta takes in the information about Evernight. As she reaches the top of the ridge, she looks on with dismay at this twisted version of Neverwinter. Suddenly, a feeling of homesickness washes over her. The thought of being trapped in this land of darkness is almost unbearable.

"Thank you for your help," Vesta says to Eldon. "I would love to get out of this place as quickly as we can."

Need initiatives for Celeste, Davis, & Katarina. Going to assume these three also pass the stealth check, so you can take a surprise round. (You may attack with advantage!)  The map in my previous post shows you positioning of everyone. Let's go =)

Eldon sends a flash of radiant light streaking towards the green ghoul. (Attack: 16 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll..)

Zyl hop flutters as quietly as she can toward the pink ghoul!

Vesta focuses her attack on the group with the red and yellow ghouls. Figuring how well it worked before, she decides to lob another fireball right at the group of ghouls. This time she uses her Staff of Power to power the fireball, so as not to expend her own energies.

Hoping the fireball will take care of the other group, Vanizi turns her attention to the ghoul (pink) that Zyl attacked, placing her [Tooltip Not Found] at the same ghoul.

After the attack she retreats back a bit, putting herself more behind Katarina. 

Davis runs up to the ghouls, muttering under his breath about how much his sword loves killing Undead.

Move: Just north of Pink, next to Green.

He will attack the Pink, then Green. If for some reason they are both dead, he will stand there and Dodge.

 - Eldon (15) sends a flash of radiant light streaking towards the green ghoul. (Attack: 21 Damage: 17.)
 - Vesta (13) casts another fireball at the southeastern group of ghouls (Dex saves: Lt blue (9) :: Yellow (12) :: Red (5) for 42 or 21 damage) 
 - Davis (13) finishes off the green ghoul, and with no more enemies nearby, he waits for the rest. (Used your move and action)
 - Katarina (10)
 - Zylynne (6) attacks the pink ghoul, hitting it twice and sending it back beyond the veil!
 - Vanizi (3) uses a spell to hit the blue ghoul (since the pink one is dead) twice, killing it!
 - Celeste (?)

3, possibly 6 or more, ghouls were destroyed in the initial onslaught! Will see what Katarina and Celeste do for their surprise round before carrying on. (I'm also on the road tomorrow through Monday, so won't get to post again until Monday =)

The fireball destroyed the group of ghouls! Here's an updated map...

 - Ghoul B moves to attack the fairy barbarian with their claws! (Teal Attack: 18 Damage: 8 <> Orange Attack: 18 Damage: 9 <> Dk Red Attack: 22 Damage: 5)
 - Ghoul A moves to attack the halfling paladin with their claws! (Dk blue Attack: 10 Damage: 7 <> Dk Green Attack: 9 Damage: 6 <> Purple Attack: 6 Damage: 7)
 (For each successful hit, make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. You can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of your turns, ending the effect on a success.)

Now that the ghouls are grouped up on Davis and Zyl, Vesta knows she must focus her fire more carefully. She sends a scorching ray at the purple, green, and red ghouls.

Ray 2 to Green Ghoul - Attack: 29 Damage: 6

Ray 3 to Red Ghoul - Attack: 24 Damage: 9

Zyl screeches as one of the ghouls slashes her! (Con save: 11, rolled in log)

She then makes angry fairy noises and swings at the dark red ghoul!

Attack 1: Nat 1 misses wildly!

Attack 2: 20 to hit, 15 magical slashing damage

Davis will attack the ghouls that are still standing, in this order: dark blue, green, purple, yellow.

Vanizi again shifts her Hex to another ghoul (red). She then sends to bolts of her Eldritch Blast at it.

Round 2:
 - Vesta sends rays of flame at three of the remaining ghouls, scorching them. 
 - Davis unleashes his deity's holy vengeance on the ghouls around him!

 - Zylynne is caught by one of the ghoul's claws, causing her to badly miss with her first attack, but her next swing strikes true!
 - Vanizi focuses her evil eye on the red ghoul before sending twin eldritch blasts to blow it into many gory pieces!

Round 3:
 - Purple ghoul slashes at Davis, trying to find any gap in the paladin's armor! Attack: 19 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. 
 - Orange ghoul bites at Zyl, ichor dripping from its vile lips. Attack: 5 Damage: 11 
 - Teal ghoul also chomps at Zyl, clicking its rotting teeth at her bare arms. Attack: 11 Damage: 11

"Owwww! Bad ghoul! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!" Zyl screeched as the orange ghoul bit into her shoulder. She just manages to shrug off the teal ghoul's attack! (AC is 16) She swings back at the orange ghoul!
