The huntress instincts are correct. As soon as you admit to killing Duhg, she flies into a rage, dropping the basket and going for an attack.
Female Verbeeg init: 20
Party init: 20
As per the PHB, the DM decides the order if there is a tie. The rule I am setting for this campaign is the highest init modifier goes first (in this case, the party).
Sad are Ettriel Darastrix's green eyes, as she sets them on the enemy that might not have been: "Choices have consequences" shortsword and dagger are drawn and held. "You chose to be my prey".
There is magic in the eladrin huntress' voice - magic thatmakes the Verbeeg more vulnerable to her attacks. And there is magic in the mystical ticking she hears from the Clockwork Amulet that White Rabbbit gave her before they parted.
The foreign traveler's shortsword flashes toward her opponent's side, while the dagger, held in a reverse grip, snaps to cut toward her throat.
[[ OOC: Etriel uses her Bonus Action to place her Hunter’s Mark on the Verbeeg and her Action to attack her, using both Shortsword and Dagger (thanks to Dagger's Nick property, available to her because of her Mastery). She also expends her daily use of her Clockwork Amulet to forgo rolling the d20 to get a 10 on the die with her Shortsword attack. ]]
“Etriel!” Danon looks up alarmed by the turn of events, he moves forward 40 feet, not wanting her to face the Verbeeg alone. When within 15 feet he jumps forward with a kick with his right leg and then with his left, however he can’t find purchase with the Verbeeg who shrugs off his attacks. He maintains a defensive position, ready to strike again when he sees an opening.
Unarmed strike : 9 to hit, for 8 points of damage.
Bonus action : Unarmed strike : 8 to hit, for 6 points of damage.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"Well maybe if he wasn't evil we wouldn't have had to slay him for his vileness!" Idalie cries out as she uses her bonus action to move her hex to the new enemy. Then she casts eldritch blast at the monstrous she-beeg.
EB vs. Lady Verbeeg Attack: 24; Damage: 11 (force) + 3 (necrotic)
Cirim and Neldak left. But so far 3 good attacks made (and 2 attempts by Danon). The verbeeg is not looking bloodied yet, but probably will be before acting.

Cirim and Neldak both took their Turns... If Lady Verbeeg is still standing, she should act... shouldn't she?
I was certain I had replied with the Verbeeg's turn.
Neldak narrowly misses with his orb. And Cirim's attack is easily sidestepped.
"He killed for self defence or for food, not for fun. Whereas I am going to enjoy getting my revenge"
She attacks twice with her spear, both at Ettriel for being the one who broke the news.
First attack: 16(just misses) Second attack: 26for 30damage.
Everyone is up. (Ettriel, as we are doing turns in any order, if you get healed you may act this turn regardless of who is healing. That is unless you have a feature to reduce damage and not go unconscious and this is irrelevant)
Etriel Darastrix easily avoids the first blow, but the second is so furious, fast and powerful that it hits her right in the face... the magical energies that defend her with the same effectiveness as armor slow the cruel spearhead, but do not stop her and her dart is barely enough to ensure that the blow taken in the chest is stopped by a rib, rather than splitting her heart.
The eladrin huntress moans weakly as she settles on the cold snow that is starting to turn crimson with her blood...
"Noooooo!" Danon just hears a roaring in his head as he sees Etriel go down, he is full of fury and feels elemental forces raging within him. He stands in front of her, facing the Verbeeg, saying "Tangle with me, you brute! How dare you! I'll burn you to cinders today!" He does a roundhouse kick to her head, then follows up with two fast punches, bracing himself for any further attack.
Unarmed strike, kick : 21 to hit, for 10 points of bludgeoning damage.
Bonus action : Flurry of blows, 13 to hit, for 9points of bludgeoning damage and 13to hit for 10 points of bludgeoning damage.
Movement, stepping in front of Etriel, guarding her on the ground.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Etriel Darastrix feels the pain ease... not completely, but certainly ease... her green eyes open and in an instant the situation is clear. Danon has heroically placed himself between her and the monster. And Cirim has taken advantage of this to heal her - at least as much as he could.
"You are a tough prey," the Eladrin Huntress states, standing up and picking up her weapons "but my prey still you are. I will not let your blind sorrow be an excuse for you to do violence to me or anyone else".
The foreign traveler moves next to Danon again and again presses the ferocious enemy first with a thrust of the shortsowrd, then with a quick slash of the dagger... finally, magic is added to the steel! The hand holding the shortsowrd springs forward again and from it a thunderous cone of flame shoots upwards, towards the monster's face!
[[ OOC: Etriel uses her Movement to get back up and come to Danon's side. She uses her Action to attack the monster, using both Shortsword and Dagger (thanks to Dagger's Nick property, available to her because of her Mastery). Since she hit last time with her Shortsword, she now has Advantage on that attack (thanks to Shortsword's Vex property, available to her because of her Mastery). She then uses a 1st level spell slot to regain a Sorcery point (no action) and her 2 Sorcery points to quicken a Burning Hands with her Metamagic. So she upcasts a Buring Hands with a 2nd level slot as Bonus Action. She directs the cone of flame upwards, so as to hit the monster, but not the allies. ]]
Neldak grimaces at the sight of the powerful blow that hit Etriel, but is relieved when she gets back up. He'll cast magic missile for a total of 12 force damage.
The Verbeeg gets hit by Cirim hard, and turns to focus on them, which leaves an opening for the now revived Etriel (who the Verbeeg was not expecting an attack from). After the shortsword hits, instincts kick in and they avoid the dagger and the worst of the flames (18 dex save), but are unable to avoid the magic battering that hits them from Neldak.
Idalie smiles, and finally does something paladinesque...
She rushes the lady monster and swings her glaive at it.
Attack: 11 (I'm guessing a miss); Damage: 8 (magic slashing) + 1 (necrotic, from Hex). If it missed, the monster still takes 4 damage from the Graze weapon mastery.
With her bonus action she casts armor of agathys in case of a follow-up attack.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Neldak will channel his magic and cast chromatic orb.
13 to hit, for 18 fire damage
Seeing how quickly the events turned violent, Cirim will let out a roar and, as a bonus action dash up to the Verbeeg (Adrenaline Rush) and attack it.
Battleaxe: 8 slashing 5
She will call Sparks back towards her so he can help next round.
"He killed at least 6 people from Good Mead and has paid the price for that. The whole town would have come against him. Our quarrel is not with you."

Cirim will take another swing at the Verbeeg with her Axe as Sparks does a flyby help.
