"Be careful, sweet guest of my soul" Etriel Darastrix whispers to Danon, invoking upon him the blessing of Sehanine Moonbow - but in the tone of voice the actual concern is completely overshadowed by a quiet confidence in the other's abilities.
Danon follows him (invisibly) until he gets to a house, unlocks it and goes inside. Peeking through a window, you see he is packing what looks to be an overnight bag. Sure enough, after 15 minutes he leaves and starts heading out of town, in the direction of Targos.
When Danon expresses his intent to follow the shield dwarf, Neldak will use his last 2nd level spell slot to cast Invisibility on Danon. "Good luck!"
Etriel Darastrix gives the dragonborn a gracious and grateful nod. "Thank you for your invaluable assistance once again, Lord Neldak. Something tells me that our resourceful and bold Danon has had the right hunch, and that we will soon learn more about the intentions or resources of the not so polite (but thankfully not so stealthy also) Mr Shandar".
"It's not my town, but if people don't trust someone there's usually a good reason. Danon is stealthier than I am so I thought I'd give him a little more help. I'm curious what he will find out."
Danon hustles double time, dashing back to Etriel and the others, straightening up and taking deep breaths after he arrives. Standing there, you don’t see anything, but just hear footsteps and then heavy breathing. Etriel hears in her left ear and then feels hot breath on her neck as Danon says in a whisper, “Targos, he’s headed toward Targos. Should we follow? Up to no good and in a hurry, seemed to me, m’Lady.” He remains hidden and waits to hear her response.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Etriel Darastrix sighs softly at the pleasant sensation of the welcome messenger’s close proximity and her fingers furtively search for his invisible ones.
Meanwhile, however, the eladrin huntress turns to the middle-aged woman who descends from the town’s Chultan founders: “Lady Olivessa, a source in whom I place the utmost trust informs me that Shandar Froth is headed toward Targos in a hurry... and probably up to no good”.
“On the one hand, I would like to follow him and find out more about what he is up to” the foreign traveler continues. “But on the other hand, the election is in 4 days... and I must be present to be voted for. How far away is Targos? Could I manage to follow our untrustworthy candidate and return in time for the election?”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I think Shandar believes he can make it back in time if he hurries or he'd miss the election too. Let me see if I can remember how far of a journey it is...."
"You have a point, Lord Neldak..." Etriel Darastrix concedes "Indeed, the one who nearly caused the Banshee to materialize" (a furtive smile escapes her as she thinks of how the speaker-wannabe had believed the bluff) "should not plan trips that threaten to prevent him from participating in these elections he is so keen to win".
The foreign traveler, however, continues to await an estimate of the travel time needed, to better consider the plan of action...
It's about 8 hours hike to Targos. None of the towns are massively far apart.
Also, is Etriel running herself, or is she offering support to Olivessa? Olivessa offered to run despite not being overly keen on the condition that you gave her some pointers on politics and some general advise.
[[ OOC: As Etriel replied 'Deal' to Olivessa, she meant to help Olivessa get elected, accepting the condition to give her some pointers on politics and some general advice. And as for following the 'political opponent' she meant to do it together with the whole party. ]]
"Eight hours..." Etriel Darastrix calmly ponders the information "It's not exactly a short walk, but there's still plenty of time to investigate the activities of this 'political opponent' and determine whether he is in fact just a bad candidate or a real threat to the community".
"Shall we start following him right away?" the foreign traveler, not surprisingly, is ready to travel immediately "We can keep our distance, so as not to be seen - his footprints in the snow will be very easy to follow".
And, if everyone agrees, the eladrin huntress has her personal 'invisible spirit guide' lead her to the dwarf's tracks, then begins to follow them.
Danon listens and says quietly "Follow me.." and starts heading that way, trying to lead them in the steps toward Targos, moving very fast and attempting to catch up to the dwarf.

"Come Sparks, looks like were headed to a place called Targos" she tells the little black owl, who lands on her shoulder and instantly falls asleep.
"Your tired from chasing all these bees" she says and gives him a light tap. "Let's see what interesting things this next town brings" she adds, and looks up at the sky above, devoid of sun, and she sighs.
Idalie, who apparently has been getting herself drunk and loudly boasting about her heroics in the tavern, toddles out out after the rest of the party unsteadily after the party, not quite sure what's going on because she was so wrapped up in her own business until she noticed that everyone else was leaving.
"Hey guys... *hic* where ya'all goin'? Some new beastly *hic* monster *hic* to slay?" she asks.

Cirim will stay with the group, as Dannon disappears, listening to the conversation, as she has no knowledge or experience with politics.
