"I do not think it would be wise to split up. If we travel together it may be slower but it will allow us to do more if we should come across any cultists along the way." Z'ress says as she keeps her eyes on the map in front of them.
"How about one thing at a time?" The dwarf comments, "Go ahead and check if that gate down in the cellar can still open. Can't really have the villagers try to come through the raiders outside."
The half drow nods as she moves to look over the map one last time. "Then please lead the way for us good sir. My knowledge of they keep is limited beyond the few rooms that I have been in."
Graxian listens to the conversation and is willing to follow Z'ress.
"We should go to the others and see if they are done resting . Then we can see about checking this door ." He says to Z'ress.
Turning to Sir Escobett.
"Good sir, would you happen to know of a half-elf named Talis? She was a friend and I heard she may have been in this area and in trouble or captured by these cultists. "
"That is a sound plan. Once we are together again it would be wise to make sure that we can find this door and the entrance to it from the outside of the keep." Z'ress agreed as she fiddled with her staff as she waited to see what the dwarf would tell them.
"I'm afraid I don't know any half elf named Talis. Been here ever since the those raiders showed up and busy with the sudden call to arms. I'm sorry to say that I can't help you there." The dwarf answers.
Looking at Z'ress and Reso, "You know, something tells me we haven't been gone long enough for the others to rest. We found Sir Escobett pretty quickly. Let's go find this cellar door and make sure we know where it is. We should be safe in the keep for now, but if we need to leave quickly I'd feel better if we already knew where to go."
"That I can, just head to the kitchen and you'll see a cellar door in a corner of that room. We keep the wine down there and a few other stuff, so the door might be behind a few crates and barrels."
After a few minutes of moving crates and barrels, you three find an old rusted iron door. While aged and rusty, it seems to be in good enough condition.
Z'reas will take the key that Sir Escobert gave them and see if it will fit the lock of the door, readying her other hand into a fist incase something is behind it.
After a few moments of turning the key against the rust, the door gives a click as it yields itself to you. Inside, you can see a long passageway, one end dark and the other end illuminated by the grate at the end of the tunnel. You can hear the scamper of a few rats as the door gives a slight creak, they scurry to their nests towards the dark end of the passage.

Z'ress nods as she looks over the map. "I am hoping that we can leave soon so that we can save any villagers that are in the village still."
Reso nods as well. "How would we go about searching the village? Should we split up?"
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.

(They won't be up, it's really been only about 10 minutes since they choose to do a short rest.)

Turning to the dwarf,
"Can you point us in the right direction?"
Reso nods at Gaxian. "Agreed. Let's find the cellar door."

Z'ress nods and turns to the dwarf as they do. "A sound plan."
"That I can, just head to the kitchen and you'll see a cellar door in a corner of that room. We keep the wine down there and a few other stuff, so the door might be behind a few crates and barrels."
Reso walks over and begins moving the crates and barrels while chirping a soft tune.

'Ress will nod and follw the directions given to her by the dwarf, moving to move barrels and crates out of the way along with Reso.

Reso goes into a fighting stance in case something attacks from behind the door.

With his shield and sword up, Graxian watches as Z'ress prepares to open the door.
