"We are glad that we managed to help you and your people deal with this attack. I only wish we had come sooner but alas I do not know we would have been able to do much with the threat of a dragon." Z'ress says as she nods once the Lord bids them to rest. She moves to find a place to sleep, simply glad that they had managed to save so many of the villagers.
Reso lays down to rest. "If we do follow them, I should hang back or make sure I am out of sight since they know who I am. As much as I would like another fight with the dragonborn, he may suspect something if they know I am trailing him."

J'eilil also lays down to rest. "We'll have to be very careful. Hopefully we can pick up their trail in the morning, and will find out something useful."

J'eilil - Fire Genasi Druid (Hoard of the Dragon Queen)
The night is over as the remainders of the force start to leave the village. The horizon with a crimson hue as the fires start to smolder and subside. And by the time the sun crests upon the keep, the village is still there, though singed and ransacked, it stays. There's no signs of any raiders or anyone else left out in the village, most of the villagers in the safety of the keep. Nighthill is speaking with guards and defenders, sending them out and making sure the village is safe before having the villagers head back to their homes. There are dark circles under his eyes as he works tirelessly, addressing the town guard and consoling villagers. He gives a weak smile as he notices you've all awoken, "Ah, had a good rest I hope?"
Reso stretches his arms and wings and makes different martial arts poses before he notices Nighthill. "It was a good rest indeed. What is the latest news?"

Z'ress will move with the other to finf Nighthillm looking out over the village to see while it was damaged it would be possible for it to be rebuilt in time. With those thoughts be somewhat of a comfort to her she will turn towards Nighthill as he speaks to them. "It was and now we zre ready to continue eith hekping if there is anything we can do."
Nighthill nods, "Yes, I was hoping you all could actually follow those raiders. Not to fight with them, but to find out when and where the next attack is. And to find who and why is behind them. I can alert the other lords and towns of these raiders and spare everyone else from this tragedy that we had to go through. And if you can, please get my people's belongings back, although don't sacrifice your lives for them."
Z'ress nods as she hopes that if they are to follow them that they might have a chance to find out what happened to her fellow monk that she had come in search of. For now all she had was that they had last been seen before the village was raided.
Nighthill nods, "The scouts found their tracks pretty easily, too big of a group to hide. And looks like they're headed southeast of here." Nighthill points out to the horizon, where you can see some of the grass is trampled and the ground with multiple tracks, obvious even to the oblivious.
"We shall head that way then. But I am not sure what so few of us would be able to do if things were to go poorly." Z'ress said as she looked to where he pointed.
"Well with that kind of trail we can follow from quite a distance and we won't need to be close enough that we fear being seen or caught. We can see where they came from and decide what to do from there. I am rested and ready to go anytime."
"I'm not asking you all to confront them, just merely gather information upon them. If you all tried to fight such a force, I can assume you all cannot handle their numbers."
"Understood we should hopefully return eith information that will allow us to be of help to you." Z'ress says as she moves to the rest of the group. "Is there anything else we need to do before we continue.
Z'ress turns to the rest of the party of the party as Nighthill is pulled away by the villagers. "If we are to go we should leave before the tracks grow to old."

"In the dawn, beauty reigns, and the way is clearer. I will help in this matter. "
Graxian finds a place to settle down and rest for the remainder of the night.
In the morning he will seek out Nighthill again for their new task.

J'eilil stands with Z'ress and Reso, waiting to hear Nighthill's report.

"No, I wish you all good luck and be safe." Nighthill is led off by a few villagers and guards, talking to him about the town.
Z'ress turns to the rest of the party of the party as Nighthill is pulled away by the villagers. "If we are to go we should leave before the tracks grow to old."
"Agreed." J'eilil nods. "We'll set out at once."
