Yeah, I think Sera was your best chance of beating that check.
Be aware that Sargonnas Recruiter Gray has a Held Action. The first attack should miss any of you, but he has multiattack, and that second one is a doozy. And if you pass by him, it will do serious damage. I posted it ahead of time to streamline the combat, and its pretty obvious he's ready to fight, so I doubt it would be a surprise that he'll take a stab at you if he can. Plan your moves accordingly.
XP will be awarded after you are out of initiative.
Also, cha-ching on that grab, Larskolstad! There is a wealth of power in that sack. It's a pity none of you are wizards, but there's still a lot of good stuff in there that you can use. The rest can be saved, traded, or sold to the right buyer.
Unfortunately, clearing my cache also locked me out of a lot of material I somehow gained access to at some point.😅 I no longer have the Oriq Recruiter stat block, so I had to do some Googling to find his stats and continue the battle. A shame... it probably means my villains will become more vanilla in the future.

We all be fooled by that i think...even i had +5 i rolled a 1...off we go. Sera Not go the way the minotaur statue was...any other way. I hope you other guys can lead on to the treasure chamber and then we can go out from there.

I did see this warning and made the choice to take the hit, Merkas currently is resistant to all damage due to the potion Ororana gave him, as a character he’s running, as a player he can take the big hit currently. So initial attack will miss but second one will hit and Merkas would take 14 damage.
Hrothbert, that’s 15 total damage to gray? Nice job! I’ll wait to see if that takes him out before I post, but Hastos will use a bonus action for Second Wind. (+12 HP).
I’ll post my plan here to get DM feedback and then post the narration when I see if Merkas has gutted cultist gray. The plan: Get Out Assuming Grey is still up, I’ll try to take him out from a distance. If he’s down, I’ll try to detect the other cultists in the darkness and have a go at them. Perception: 10 Firebolt: ToHit (21 +2 =23), Dam (8) Javelin: ToHit (26+1=27), Dam (7)
Hastos will make his way out of the room and back towards the loot room. On the off chance I get an AOO on the cultist that Sera shoves back into the darkness: ToHit : (CRIT 19+8=27), DAM: ( 7+13=20). If not, oh well, it was fun imagining a WWE style melee!
Thanks. grey has taken about 25 damage but his hp is likely higher than that (not sure how much meta I should share but I did get a peak at the stat block for him earlier) so not likely taking him down with that unless dm rolled low when setting the character or used the default hp.
As the plan is to get out Nare will just Disengage and move as far as he can towards the exit!

((Strength Athletics Check: 2 + 1 = 3 )) -> This was to get the Charger Feat from the Campaign Notes. I was planning to Shove the Cult Leader out the way (like as in to “save them” from the falling debris). Unfortunately it failed
So I’ll just Disengage instead for moving 30ft to the closest exit and then an additional Rabbit Hop to get out so a total of 45 ft of Movement

Is Ororana modelled after the Claymore manga/anime? She gave off vibes of channelling darker powers to enhance her abilities and strength.
