Our mission has a time limit, I figure to get into the good graces of the local authority it is best we clear that up first. I am thinking this guy is part of a grander issue within the camp that we will need to weed out. It is possible that getting the supplies will help us ferret out the bad apples a little sooner as well.
So yeah completing the Retrieval quest I see as our top priority, assassins be damned, when they bring out the pet terrasque then we worry.
Pfft...a 7..I lucky If i not make him stay unconsious longer..lol
7 is a moderate roll. It's not like the older versions, where DC's got as high as 50 for a skill check. Most of the time, a 5 to 10 will still get the job done, so long as it's not highly difficult, or in a high stress setting, like say... jumping onto a flailing attackers shoulders.
To clarify, the cultist is not tied up. You were in the process of tying them when they awoke. I'm about to roll my opposed check. If they break free, get ready for round two.
Well I need to go bed now. if that kills the cultish Sera explain she not dare anyone to be hit by that Vile weapon...Even she is sorry the young man is dead she not hesitate defend friends.
And she follow you along to your next move. if you decide play more tonight. she will vote for getting to retrieve thoose crates as fast as possible before next maniac turns up. The Scythe shouild be destroyed. But we need some research to do that. Maybe we can get some npc try find out what to do with it? (DM can just add Sera in the story )
Nah, I'm kidding, Sharn was thinking about it, but we're gonna have to do something with that scythe man. Imagine we just leave it there and some ten year old decides to hurry their emo phase, grabs it and goes "the world must perish."
Don't think the thing is gonna break if we just bonk it really hard.
With the cultist dead, the scythe has no owner to claim it. Those who have attacked the wielder were never under any compulsion to claim it. The scythe wants a willing owner, so don't worry about will saves.
The 25 XP was for the defeat of the cultist, so I'm not sure a one-hit deserves a second round of XP.
But that command word gave me chills. Larskolstad Sera gets Heroic Inspiration for an incredible takedown and breathtaking RP.

I belive he was knocked out and I do not need to use healing magic on him or ? Like we are whimpy 1st level. I have 2 spells lol
If you wish, you may roll a medicine check. Obviously, the target's health is 0. But you may roll to stabilize them as well.

Mind you, Sharn doesn't know that you have healing magic. He really did just mean a way to mend his wounds.

Ok I can accept that but Merkas wouldn't have poured the drink in his mouth until after he was tied up. This is why I wrote it the way I did.
Seeing the IC post I accept the binding being done terribly. Guess I gotta work on my sailors knots

Good Nite
Sleep well. But you have a day to post before I automate your move. If you don't get to it by then that's ok. I know how to play it out. ☺️

Thank you. -takes a bow-
I do not think any interrogation of the cultist would bring much info. He was kinda fanatic.
But the Schyte needs to be locked away. And maybe some smart people can tell how to destroy it.
Well Merkas is going to stand guard on it. He’s not pleased with himself for the guy getting free again.
