**a few of my posts i did on my phone on the weekend seem to have not posted properly, including the one i did here. anyone else have that happen? or was it just me being dumb? lol**
Wreckzorina lets his companions know he spotted something shiny down at the bottom of of of the vats. Galdr conjures up his spectral hand and feels around in the first vat, but after a bit of searching he comes up empty handed, it appears the first vat is just full of murky water. He reaches into the second vat and feels around for a bit, and comes across something at the bottom, and pulls it up to reveal a large key, or to be more specific, half of a large key. When one of you reaches out to grab the item you get a slight stinging/burning feeling from the droplets of liquid that are still on the key, letting you know that the second vat is mostly likely full of some acidic liquid.
Galdr passes off the key and reaches into the third vat, and the liquid immediately rises up out of the vat, revealing it to be not just a liquid, but actually a large blob of living ooze!
**I was going tom make you roll for it, but then I thought you'd all want to roll for it..and one of you is bound to get it, so i'll just tell you. Its a Gelatinous Cube, but its been sitting in this vat for decades, and maybe has some different stats then ones you've met in the past**
OOC: How big are these vats? I'm thinking of picking one the acid one and throwing it at the blob. Not sure what to roll for that if it's small enough that I could do it.

Crom at first is taken by surprise. Then, since everyone is attacking that ooze, he joins them as well, although he doesn't really know if his piercing weapon will work.
He goes at 10 feet from the ooze, attacking with all his might and then he retreats.
3 attack with great weapon feat, 1 bonus action with rear fo the pike
Attack1: 19 Damage: 19
Attack2: 13 Damage: 20
Attack1: 12 Damage: 22
Attack1: 7 Damage: 20
sneak attack since also the others are attacking: 6
The gnome, already standing back from the vats (like an alchemist using tinker’s extendable claws to fill vials), struck at the creature with arcane might in an effort to halt it.
He stepped further back and prepared for it to charge if it broke free.
OOC: Cast hold monster and use Portent to give it a 6+Wis mod instead of a roll for its save (DC 18).
You guys beat the ever-loving shit outta this thing. Pretty much every single attack hit, and you guys do way too much damage. You even saw it start to try to split into two pieces but you destroy it too fast, and it dissolves into a thick residue along the edges of the vat.
You can all see, as you catch your breaths, that there is another half of a key at the bottom of this vat as well.
You can fish it out pretty easily, its got a bit of goo on it but otherwise is undamaged, and it looks like it fits together with the half found in the other vat.

For his first action, Flynt is going over to the vat and using his breath weapon on it.
Con Save of 15. If it saves, it takes half damage. - Damage: 16
For his second action, he will attack it with his sword - Attack: 13 Damage: 9
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Wrexorina will run towards the ooz and attack it with her war pick.

Well then I guess it's time to hit with the old frost brand with great weapon master.

Don't know why the second didn't roll damage, I just cut and past the first one again, but I'm guessing an 8 doesn't hit anyway.

(Is it big enough that Wrexorina can dip her war pick in and hook on to it and pull it out? Otherwise he will let Galdr work his magic hands!)
