âOh sweetie youâre in the right place! If you need alterations Iâm the best.â She runs her hand through her very fine soft beard as her eyes twinkle looking Aldun up and down.
âSo would you care for something cold, maybe some berries and cream? I could sure take a break, what do you say?â
"a raincheck maybe. the stonelord wants us going as soon as possible. So thank you. I appreciate... uhh... and when I make it back alive.....well who knows" as he nervously laughs

Once we have done our shopping we go and search for the battleragers. "Are you training to be a battlerager too Dain? Cause I've seen you wield that axe and the mad look in your eyes once you start.
I feel like I have a million things I haven't done. It's all so sudden. I don't have a map of the underdark. Or enough food? What if we get lost and run out of food? Oh no this is not a good idea".
After 2 days tracking the Kuldjargh throughtunnels chambers and cavernous areas you end up exiting the underground route in a place oddly familiar to AldunâŠ
there is a evidence of a last stand, at least a dozen undead and 2 of the battlerager bodies lie here covered in flies. With a thorough investigation you continue to follow the footprints of a survivor. As you come into a clearing you see a dwarf strapped onto a 50â diameter slab of rock carved with glyphs there are 3 figures chanting as the sun is slowly going downâŠ

"uhm let me check my book Dain.... (Looking through the book, mumbling). Ah yes. I could try and trap one of them but I can't get the dwarf away from there."
"But first give me a chance to decipher the glyphs to get a glimpse of what's going on (arcane roll 13).
"To trap one I would first want to make one more "susceptible" and I'd need to get closer. To about 60ft. You think we can sneak closer? I'd trap the front one (A).
"These guys do look creepy. And powerful. We could also walk around?

Aldun tries really hard to crawl closer silently (stealth roll 16). While crawling there I whisper to Drain that I think they are summoning something judging by the glyphs I could see.
If we get within range unheard I whisper Dain I'm gonna cast a spell and after that I hope to trap the first one with another spell. You unleash hell on the others and I help where possible.

Just as everyone is advancing into position trying to be stealthy the dwarven sacrifice sees Dain with his incredibly thick strong beard and greataxe, âHelp me brother just get me loose!! Iâll avenge our brothers, hurry!!â
the cultist fanatic points at Dain and a sythe of greenish force appears and swings at your head.22 to hit for 5 slashing damage.
Dain gets slashed by the spell and seeing his own blood splatter onto the ground goes red with fury (rage). Moving his 30 ft he then throws his light hammer at the closest enemy.
(23 to hit for 10 bludg dmg + 8 bludg frenzy dmg â reckless rage)
Cultist âAâ is hit with the full force of the hammer, the spiritual weapon vanishes as the blood stains the cultist redâŠ
the imperial ghoul moves beside the cultist loading a crossbow as it goes it takes aim firing a bolt at Dain 21 to hit for 9 piercing damage total. (halved to 4 for raging I believe)
Aldunâs turn all happening in the space of a few heartbeats.
Seeing the plan didn't work and Dain got attacked Aldun casts a chromatic orb at the cultist(2nd level, 23 to hit / 16 thunder dmg) and get behind some cover of a nearby tree
As a bonus action Aldun casts a sound of a roaring lion 60ft north east of him to distract the other undead.
Aldun moves at half speed trying to maintain his hidden position creating a roaring lion distraction, smashing a thunderous orb into the cultist nearly knocking him off his feetâŠ
A shimmering bubble of force surrounds enemy C
Enemy C cries out from the incredible onslaught, he then in desperation screams out the words to a hold person at Dain. Wisdom save DC 12 vs paralyzed
Dain feels a suppressing power begin to control him but his rage pushes him forward, breaking whatever was trying to halt him, continuing to run and getting into melee with cultist A. (21 Wis save)
raising his greataxe he brings it down onto the cultist.
(22 to hit, 13 dmg + 8 frenzy â reckless rage)
free action to pick up and stow his light hammer that hit A.
He then cleaves into B (assuming B is still within 5ft of A): 23 to hit for 16 dmg
Seeing the cultist cast a spell (and maybe recognize the spell) Aldus feels an urge to protect Dain and focus on the cultist. Aldun moves into range (60ft) of cultist C and cast a mind sliver at him (int save DC 13/ 6 dmg + 1d4 subtracted from next save)
With his bonus action Aldun casts a 5ft large/high bush in between the cultist C and the Imperial ghoul and Dain.

Dain follows Aldun attempting to be stealthy as well but his mass and weapons make it more difficult (stealth 8).
Nodding along with Aldunâs plan he unsheathes his axe in preparation for the signal to jump in full force.
