Dain’s greataxe cuts through the cultist cleaving into the imperial ghoul, Dain scoops up his hammer. Aldun seeing the cultist cut in half mind slivers the ghoul (giving it a -4 to its next save) while imposing total cover for Dain. 👏🏻
The ghoul drops his crossbow racking to attack through the illusionary cover… but fails to realise it’s an illusion so instead try’s tearing down the brush effectively ending the illusion wasting its turn.

Dain grunts as the ghoul uses its foul claws to slash him on his arm. The paralytic courses through him hit luckily the scratch wasn’t deep and he was able to fight off whatever entered his body.
Aldun casts phantasmal force on cultist C (int save 13). If fail then the cultist sees huge burning concrete blocks strapped with branches on his legs and feet.
As a bonus action Aldun casts an illusory bush in between him and the cultist. Aldus makes a run for the illusory bush trying to hide behind it, nearing the cultist.

Dain continues his barrage on the ghoul, taking his anger out on this one undead for the actions of the ones that killed his kin in the couple days before. (16 to hit for 17 dmg - reckless + frenzy) Assuming A is still alive and in melee, he will Cleave into him as well. (20 to hit for 8 dmg)
Dain hacks into the ghoul, cleaving into the body of the cultist also! The ghoul again multi attacks Dain.
It claws Dain and then with a sickening sound bites onto Dain’s face. An immediate burning sensation can be felt…
18 damage from the claw 13 from the bite reduced to 15 total.
DC 11 Constitution saving throw or contract the darakhul fever disease.
& DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Aldun launches a fiery bolt at the fleeing enemy but due to every scream and the berserk dwarf his aim is off.
as you approach the battlerager his eyes are crazy mad, he is thrashing bleeding and trying to break free.
You catch a glimpse just as the ghoul solidly bites down on Dain’s face…
Dain instantly becomes rigid unable to move to save himself… he sees his end near. Now at the edge, he can feel his fortunes turned downward rather than up from the stone in his pocket. (Nat 1 diseased, Nat 1 paralyzed, 7 hp)
(assuming it's my turn) Aldun panicks and takes out his holy water to throw it at the remaining undead, not sure what it actually does but his own magic has faltered too often.
Aldun silently hopes and prays that a bit of the holiness from the holy water rubs off on Dain, although Aldun isn't a religious person. (I rolled a 10 +4 for the thrown bottle, don't know if it's ok).
Then, braver then he actually is, he yells at the undead, cursing it and runs away hoping to draw attention away from Dain.
As a reaction Aldun casts silvery barbs on the ghoul giving the ghoul disadvantage and Dain advantage on their next attack/save/check
Holy Water flys from Aldun’s hand. The Ghoul doesn’t even flinch as the bottle breaks against its breastplate, however as it splatters onto its defiled undead flesh…
Light erupts from contact- the ghoul curses in an unknown tongue. It fully turns to Aldun and charges!
The dwarf already frothing at the mouth try’s to bite the ghoul barely missing…
The ghoul slashes at the captive dwarf but due to silvery barbs misses!

With the ghoul right in his neck the only spell Aldun can think of is Tasha's hideous laughter (wis save DC 13) hoping to stop the foul creature in its tracks.
At the same time he sees that in his flight he ended up right next to the rabidous dwarf. Aldun casts (as a bonus action) a small 5ft mirror in between him and the two creatures hoping its enough to distract them from his presence while staying REAL quiet behind it.
The ghoul sees its image reflected, it feels the urge to laugh but instead it simply smiles a huge sinister bloody faced smile.
It once again multi attacks the captive dwarf.
Its jaws snap nearly taking the dwarfs nose but the captive squirms and aggressively convulses against his bondage, as the ghouls claw descends however there is no way to avoid…
Dain will reach into his bag and pull out a dark red vial. Popping the cork, he drinks it and then turns, fury in his eyes, to the cultist still in front of him. Bringing his axe down to end this traitor’s life.
(BA - healing potion 8hp) (A - 11 to hit for 21 dmg - reckless frenzy)
If alive he will stay in place; If the cultist is dead, Dain will move closer to Aldun, staying out of melee with the ghoul.
On his knees and using the cover of the altar Aldun crawls away from the ghoul and the dwarf, hoping the mirror and the distraction are enough for them to not notice Aldun.
Then from a few feet away Aldun casts witch bolt at the ghoul (13 to hit/ 12 lightning dmg).

The ghoul now free of the illusion attempts to multi attack Dain.
Missing with a savage bite attempt and catching Dain with an outstretched claw, 18 to hit doing a sad 9 on 5d6 (4 slashing reduced)

If you were right next to enemy C he still would have fled seeing Dain’s incredible display of fury…

Desperately trying to prevent the fleeing cultist from getting away Aldun fires a fire bolt at its steed (rolled a 1 🤤)
