OOC: Good thinking guys. Cara takes second behind Hrain and Carrigan takes a spot behind Thomas. I think Leb or Lyra should be behind Cara and/or in front of Haldur!
Making thier way to the dungeons they once again pass Enders' cell. The human wizard looks pretty bad amd Cara asks Hrain if it's more decent to send the man up stairs than to torture him for their lack of a speedy trial. Carrigan offers the fact he's still wearing his manacles and really seems injured from the cells as well his injures from conjuring the magic that killed his bunkmate. Both women look to Hrain for a decision before thr party moves to the tunnels.
If they are taking the tunnels, Flozi will offer to scout ahead. With rapier in one hand and copper wire in the other, he will frequently use message to communicate with Hrain as they come upon intersections so the captain can guide him.
Stealth 19
Perception 7
(Edit: Just realized that we haven't officially entered the tunnels. Those rolls can stand for when we get inside.)
Lebenha will walk behind Cara. When they crosses the cells she inmediatly felt bad for forgetting about that poor wizard. She will wait, however to Hrain decision before saying anything.
"Get him out of the cells, I'm not going to kill him by inches in there, but I want him under guard upstairs, he is still a prisoner, the manacles stay on, and if he tries anything bring him back here."
Having given his instructions, Hrain addresses moving through the tunnels with the rest of the group. He shares the map with Folzi, instructing him to stay close during the initial stages as they move back towards the temple seeing that the group have already been that way and are more familiar with the route.

OOC: I've decided Carrigan will not roll checks or saves unless in a combat position. I won't hold up the party again with my NPC!
Moving without incident like before Hrain leads the party back to the spoke of the wheel, so to speak, with the spiral staircase that leads above to the Temple if the Four. Once their before the party moves ahead everyone can hear an odd chanting above them from the Temple of the Four. The chanting however is far too distant to clearly pick out a single word or phrase but it's several voices in chorus.
The task at hand is as follows: eight cardinal directions of tunnels ahead. One for each position on a compass. The party traveled from the NW tunnel into the spoke. There's a grate above full of stone rubble blotting out the hazy morning sun with a fresh crust of fallen snow on the debris that made it's way through the grate.
Does the party move on or investigate above?
If choosing to move on Hrain make a survival check with aid from Folzi who knows the camp topside and has studied the map before moving ahead.
OOC: Thomas as I recall you were preparing for the days lessons so you know above the Temple was full of Sisters who aid you, like Katrina, but also who do not leave the Temple. There was roughly a dozen devoted to each of the Four. Primarily elderly and Sisters from privileged backgrounds (sent for various reasons but some were just locked up). No pupils had arrived yet however but in total throughout the camp you had roughly twenty kids who regularly showed up but including older teens thirty all together. The twenty children are the orphans at the camp with no relatives to claim them. They lived in an annex of the Temple near the east wing. In the school you taught thr basic three Rs as well as a love of the Four with your own opinions of Mystra. Religion was not strictly a topic of education but the kids were introduced to the Four and given options to follow them.
Thomas seems both perturbed by the distant chanting in the temple above and frustrated by the blocked access grate.
"Somehow I doubt we would be able to get through that grate with any level stealth, if we could get it open at all. More than fair chance that the exit to the Mielikki Garrison is similarly blocked off."

I would like to try to use my BG feature to help determine if this system was in place prior to the camp and if the camp was just built on top of an existing system?
Archaeologist
Feature: Historical Knowledge
When you enter a ruin or dungeon, you can correctly ascertain its original purpose and determine its builders, whether those were dwarves, elves, humans, yuan-ti, or some other known race. In addition, you can determine the monetary value of art objects more than a century old.
Folzi looks up to the grate and crinkles his nose at the sound of the chanting coming from above. "That doesn't sound good." The gnome nods in agreement with Thomas. "Maybe we should try coming up near the garrison?"
Hrain turns back to the group, signalling them in close. "Thomas could it be the Sisters? I don't think we can pass by and not check to see if they survived, and if our adversaries are defiling the temple then I do not think that can be borne either. But I would have your thoughts before we go further, we could check the Mielikki garrison but it may take time to traverse these tunnels and come back, in that time the situation could have changed here, or if we stay here we could be leaving good people over at the fallen tower in danger. I would go up here and deal with the situation we find, but I welcome counsel".

OOC: To clarify confusion the grate blocks access out the way the party came in from outside the Temple. The spiral steps lead up into theTemple is not obstructed.

"Hhmn…" Thomas considers for a moment. "My heart would prefer to confirm if the figures in the rubble were survivors in need of aid, but I think whatever is going on in the temple may be the more urgent matter."
